Totally stumbled onto this site as I’m looking to move to Wyoming and this popped up. As I’m a wanna be gardener with tomatoes in the back yard I was totally intrigued by this method. Erin you’re both engaging and informative. I’ve binged a few more episodes and I’m hooked. Keep up the amazing work 🎉❤
Erin, another video to show farming/ranch life is an everyday job! You are a hard working woman and watching you work the cows or tend your garden brings so much joy! Thank you
Hi from Houston,Texas and thanks for sharing these wonderful videos of great work Erin , Mike and Jeff everyone stay safe and have a bless week😊😊😊Hugs And Prayers❤❤❤see you next time on OUR WYOMING LIFE 😊😊😊
Love to see how you do the work in the garden! Jeff left the heat here in California..lol... 100 degrees plus all over the bay area!!. First 4th of July in decades we haven't had fog on the beach in Half Moon Bay
I no longer can garden and only wish I had known about the tying up of the tomato plants. So much quicker than how I did it. I like your videos as I get both the animal and the garden. Thanks Erin.
Very informative, Erin! I didn't know you could prune tomato plants. I am naive when it comes to gardening. My husband is the green thumb in the family! Our Wyoming Life, be safe and enjoy your holiday!😊
We have two tomato crops here in Florida, I live in Ruskin and tomatoes are the main crop, we have three packing houses so ship a lot of them out of here. Our next crop will be planted in late Aug. and another one around the first of the year. Strawberries come in in Nov. until about March. We have a tomato and a strawberry festival.
Okay, so I’m going to trim up and trellis my tomatoes. Thank you for the information on leaf curl. I have raised beds and thought it was disease instead of wind. I’m excited to see the results. 🍅 the rain sound is relaxing
Have a great 4th of July weekend y'all. Erin, we gave up on tomatoes at the farm, 🦌 🐰 and 🐻 love tomatoes. I don't grow them in the city anymore either because I get blithe.
I use cattle panels lifted above the ground 5-6 inches tied to T-posts. Then I use old socks cut in strips to hold the tomato to the cattle panel. I don't like the plastic clips because when the wind blows the stem rubs on the plastic and causes damage to the tomato stem. Socks are soft and flexible but holds really well. Have a wonderful 4th of July.
My mom had an acre garden and we girls had to get up to prune the garden for as she taught us and we had to pick the peas snd beans and pull the weeds from the time we were 6 we helped in the garden and help put the food away with freezing and canning! I hated it then she made it fun and we could play in the afternoon, but appreciate now as a I have small raised gardens now. I have great luck with tomatoes here in AZ. Thanks for teaching us!
Great Job Erin, I wish I could have U show the Kids and how they r doing, especially Lincoln. Please try and get rest also. Looks like U have lost a lot of weight. Please take care of yourself and Keep it Pushing. Thank U Erin!
I have the utmost respect for your work ethic but don’t forget to give yourself a break now n then, is hard work doing all you do n being a mom but you’re doing a great job
Very interesting. I personally have not seen this system. I have seen a lot of the hog panel system and thought that would be easy, but with as many plants as you have I don’t know. I bet you might have to weave daily as I just don’t know how each plant would stay put. I do want to see you try it as it might be better and save time. I will be watching. 😊🙏🏼
Enjoyed the video. Just had to get some calcium for blossom rot for my tomatoes 🤷♀️. Got our first rain Sunday night in a month. Very, very dry. Watering is not one of my favorite things to do. Good luck wirh many tomatoes ❤️🫶❤️ NC 🇺🇸
Erin, your videos are great. Some things are just hard to film, but your explanation is clear and concise. I know they are time consuming to do. I look forward each week to something new.. I hope, in the future, they'll contain some canning, maybe tomatoes (hint, hint). What do you use your San Marzanos for? Keep up the great work.
You’re much more aggressive in your pruning than I am used to. Something new to try and experiment with. Does McKenzie help you in the garden. Appreciate your gardening videos.
She explained in earlier video, it’s her Wyoming life, things she does on her ranch. So going to be a variety of different topics. Even before she showed what goes on in high tunnel.
Great job explaining how to. Great to see how you grow tomatoes. Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting and how it wraps back-and-forth around the tomato plants looks like it’s going to support them very nicely
It should work great!

Great explanation 🎉
Glad it was helpful!
That’s what we used was hog panels for our tomatoes. It worked really well. Great video by the way. Erin keep up the great work.
I do think I’ll try a hog panel row and compare the two!
@@OurWyomingLife Yes! That would be awesome to compare the 2 and see which one you like better! 🍅🍅🍅🍅

I struggle with blossom rot too. I put egg shells in when I plant. It helps but they will need more calcium throughout the summer.
@@OurWyomingLife We will conquer. Have a great evening

Can't wait to see a tomato jungle. Are you still raising pigs/hogs for production?
Do you have a good fourth in July 2 and a safe one take care
👋😎 so much work work work
It’s summer on the ranch!
We live in an area that gets high wind similar to you. What high tunnel do you use? Ours seem to not make it through the high wind days.
Hello Erin, how are you?
I’m good thanks!
I didn't know you could do that with tomatoes. But I don't have that kind of patience. And I'm not the gardner in the family. My husband is.
Erin, can you trim or thin out your tomatoes after they start producing? My mom’s are so thick!
Yeah you can definitely trim. I would start slow at the bottom and do some every week!
You’re much more aggressive in your pruning than I am used to. Something new to try and experiment with. Does McKenzie help you in the garden. Appreciate your gardening videos.
👍👍❤🌱
Are you going to have pig on the ranch this year?
Maybe. Depends on my freezer inventory.
Thought this was a ranching channel not a gardening channel
She explained in earlier video, it’s her Wyoming life, things she does on her ranch. So going to be a variety of different topics. Even before she showed what goes on in high tunnel.
Hey Erin, you might try wearing a hat mount or a chest mount for your camera so that will be your third hand. Just a thought.
I might have to!
When are you making hay?
Where is mike?
Not on the ranch......
