- Thunderstruck has been one of the most requested songs for me to cover so I decided to finally do it. I have recorded all guitar parts myself, used Addictive Drums for percussion and for bass I used BOSS DR-880.

This isnt a hard riff, but Youngs ability to keep plying it, without making one mistake, for minutes is a testament to how good he is on guitar.
Weird how that works out on guitar. There's solos I can nail every time but playing what's my age again intro over and over and over and over I eventually fuck up.

Actually I played with pull offs and alternative picking and alternative picking gets the feel of thunderstruck more than pull offs and alternative picking is harder than pull offs cause you actually have to strum like a thousand times a minute
If you're comfortable with alternate picking its a lot easier.
the riff is really tired,my hands gets exhausted fairly quick doing the riff

The song is so amazing the instrumentals alone is worth listening to. This was such a beautiful job broken up into three.
This is how Dave Grohl made his first album he played all the instruments in studio and then sync'd them together

@@jamesglynn4192 He actually doesn't. Well maybe sometimes he does but he mostly does alternate picking on the live versions ive seen which is actually harder to play it that way. On the music video it shows him playing with one hand but thats just for show.

John Elerr not really, studio recording has alternate picking, and doing pull offs and hammer ones doesn’t make you a better player
Alternate picking is really easy for me, but I'm struggling with the solo lol. Any tips...
AAK Music play with a metronome and start very slow, over a couple a days you will be able to play it faster and before you know it you’ll be playing up to speed
