Well people who have driven the V12, V8 and V12 AMR say that the V8 is the best one, same say people who have driven Bentayga W12 and V8, I love V12s but some cars are better with a V8
This car looks cool and sounds cool! I love the body line from the bottom of the front fender to the corner of the door and the floating roof. Plus the wide, flat stance just gives it a lot of presence. There are a lot of crazy paint and leather colors on the website so you can customize everything. Future GT cars to test: Bentley Continental GT & AMG S63.
All zf gearboxes are Electronic, and fullt customisable. Hard/softshift, Line pressure for engagement force, Shiftpoints, Shifttimes, torque scaling during launch etc. These can also be remapped for custom setups pretty easily.

Hey Jakub and Yuri I like your reviews a lot, and today I would like to say THANK YOU. For a long time I was wondering a new car and finally I got it. Here in Brazil every car is expensive with tons of government taxes. A lot of people buy Hondas HR-V with the same boring 1.8 liter engine and CVT. But hey I realized that I would prefer something different and faster. So with the same money I bought a top version and classic design VW Jetta 2.0 TSI 211hp and 207lb-ft and the gorgeous dual clutch 6-speed DSG gearbox. Oh... it does not rewind satellite radio and fortunately it has very little piano-black inside (and passes the visor test). So... thank you!
DB11's Direct competitors are Bentley Continental GT (NEW), Mclaren 570GT and Porsche 911 Turbo S (Quickest AWD Drag King)....Each of these serve their own purpose.. Loved your DB11 review though. Great Job!
For some reason I think my actual favorite thing about this car is that the doors open slightly upwards. I barely noticed it until I saw it on Top Gear , but now it's all I can see. Very cool
The DB11 WITHOUT the 2-tone paint job (commonly a body color and a black roof) looks excellent. The 2 tone paint job on these looks atrocious, but with only one color throughout, it looks stunning. Love the review btw

The whole pseudo spoiler design is genius, love that and wish more manufacturers implemented something like it. It gives the car a bit more subtlety. But that infotainment system is unforgivable very "un-James Bond" like for a car that prides itself on being driven by Bond.

However, here is one suggestion I would recommend you guys consider in the future: while these dealers do want you to make a review on their car, get the endorsement going, which is pretty ok in today's day... but think about it: majority of people would like to see something that is more affordable... please continue to review average buyer cars, perhaps think of different angles you review cars from - because this Aston Martin will not purchase maybe not even 1% whoever sees this video... so, don't loose sight of regular average buyers...

It seemed like the car was telegraphing rough road conditions that is really apparent at 10:48 and 13:29 And the soft focus of the center camera was distracting me throughout the entire video, it seemed like the camera had it's focal point a bit closer to the dash rather than on the driver's eyes.
You captured this beautiful vehicle with elegance and passion, and the right amount of sillyness. Floor it for the enviroment in a W12, classic. With all this customizing I wonder if you could get this in right hand drive, like B(ritish)DM. And Lambos are fun ( I guess ) and comparing them is too, but given that kind of cash, I would get the Aston for the refined style. Yuri has a nice watch but is still missing his newest piece of jewelry in this one ;) have fun in Italy!

Don't fall into the trap!!! You guys are RCR with waaaay better filmography, video editing and a likable comedy team. OWN that, don't let these supercars own you. I haven't watched Kyle in months in spite of the insane cars he reviews and his 1.2m subs, neither have many of us here. You guys are pulling in three times the views with 1/3rd the subs. Why? Because he's letting the cars drive the views while failing to update his writing strategy. Guys this is a great video, just be weary of coasting on that because it will plateau. I don't watch TST much anymore because of it, I've nearly written off Doug because of it. Tyler only has me interested because of his writing strategy. Of COURSE high-end cars are the low hanging fruit for viewership... BUT you'll yourselves get spoiled with all the top end stuff, not having anything to go on with the cars most of us can drive while the writing, comedy, humor, shots, will be in danger of taking a back seat to Michael Bay levels of sensationalism... Some of us (ME) get burned out on seeing car after car that only investment bankers, the Saudi royal family and those with super-yacht money can afford....Guys, you are better than this... PS Front plates suck...
volume control: press + or - if you want to, but do it the easy way, by sliding your finger across the bars on the face of the radio between the + and - from left to right or right to left to change volume in one motion. too bad the db11 doesn't come with a backseat delete option and a manual option, because IMO it's much better looking than the vantage.
The transmission can be tuned and is tuned differently between manufactures and individual models. There are transmission control units, just like engine control units(TCU/ECU).

Fellas, I disagree. As someone who may be in the market for a car like this pretty soon it is very important that it have a good infotainment system. There are just too many options out there that have really great technology, and I think the use of an outdated system is a huge miss. Younger and younger people are buying these cars and they appreciate better technology just like you guys. Keep up the great reviews!

I don’t know if it is more impressive than a Vantage or the Vantage. The lines on this DB-11 seem somewhat ‘forced’ - where functionality trumps Style. Maybe it’s just me though. I think the daytime running lamps and taillights are the only bad things about this. You’re still able to see the small, individual light points leading to the tips of the light bars. Just seems cheap to me-those should be hidden, all we should see is one, unbroken light bar.

I haven't watched Kyle in months in spite of the insane cars he reviews and his 1.2m subs, neither have many of us here. You guys are pulling in three times the views with 1/3rd the subs. Why? Because he's letting the cars drive the views while failing to update his writing strategy.
Guys this is a great video, just be weary of coasting on that because it will plateau. I don't watch TST much anymore because of it, I've nearly written off Doug because of it. Tyler only has me interested because of his writing strategy.
Of COURSE high-end cars are the low hanging fruit for viewership... BUT you'll yourselves get spoiled with all the top end stuff, not having anything to go on with the cars most of us can drive while the writing, comedy, humor, shots, will be in danger of taking a back seat to Michael Bay levels of sensationalism...
Some of us (ME) get burned out on seeing car after car that only investment bankers, the Saudi royal family and those with super-yacht money can afford....Guys, you are better than this...

too bad the db11 doesn't come with a backseat delete option and a manual option, because IMO it's much better looking than the vantage.

The transmission can be tuned and is tuned differently between manufactures and individual models. There are transmission control units, just like engine control units(TCU/ECU).

You should do something like the DougScore, but kind of like the "TheStraightCarPipeRideHypeScore...board". Maybe as a new thing in 2019, but to have the bigger perspective in terms of comparisons. Maybe put the cars into categories and use the same factors like "lightning-fast" and "zeus-fast". That would be pretty awesome - Love the car btw, nice review of it

Fellas, I disagree. As someone who may be in the market for a car like this pretty soon it is very important that it have a good infotainment system. There are just too many options out there that have really great technology, and I think the use of an outdated system is a huge miss. Younger and younger people are buying these cars and they appreciate better technology just like you guys. Keep up the great reviews!

Another excellent review and a new record for how many times the word ‘luxury’ has been used ... 37 (?) times! Beautiful car. Truly a work of Art. However.... I don’t know if it is more impressive than a Vantage or the Vantage. The lines on this DB-11 seem somewhat ‘forced’ - where functionality trumps Style. Maybe it’s just me though. The ZF transmissions are electronically controlled so you can modify how quick it shifts per each mode. Aston probably tuned for very quick shifts

I think the daytime running lamps and taillights are the only bad things about this. You’re still able to see the small, individual light points leading to the tips of the light bars. Just seems cheap to me-those should be hidden, all we should see is one, unbroken light bar.
These body lines reminded me alot of the LC500

Easily my favorite DB BUT, this is kinda nitpicky, the needle should be on the right side of the cluster like in the older Astons. I.E. Vantage, Vanquish, Rapide, etc.
Also, do a review on one of those new Vantages!
