@J Dxvx this is good conversation. Tell me what kind of defenses did this guy go against this past season? A bunch of nobody's. If you look the film alot of times the defense took bad angles and didn't wrap up. I will guarantee you if he was in the SEC he wouldn't just rolling over people.
@@onthaticeburg_ess6542 you have to keep in mind the level of competition. This guy is playing defenses the are taking bad angles and not wrapping up. That's not all him. That's poor tackling and coaching.

@J Dxvx I like your opinions. I don't think Jacob's will fall but if this guy is available we have to grab him due to his homerun ability. I this this off-season was trash but when your pockets are light we have to just make good money decisions. Keep in mind we had like 11 key guys hurt. We get those guys back healthy. As for DJax, i think it was a good move because he can still run. Name one team that will WONT slide and extra guy towards his side of the field. He is still a theater and you have to still respect him. You have to respect a guy who averages 20 yards a catch.

Doesn't appear to make many cuts, but damn is he fast. His acceleration is unreal, and it doesn't seem like he needs much space to exploit a hole in the line to find daylight for extra yardage. Not a dynamic back, but no one can deny how explosive he is, nor his tendency to make big plays. Can't wait to see him in the coming weeks. A Gurley/Henderson tandem should compliment Goff and our receiving corps of Cooks/Woods/Kupp.

After watching this highlight the Eagles 1000% need to pick up this guy. The guy plays faster than he’s getting credit for.

My Rams got him, and hopefully he will be that successful "change of pace" back to Gurley that Lance Dunbar shoulda been. He might be the featured back someday, if Gurley's knee gives him fits and he decides to call it a career. Darrell has 4.49 speed, which isn't THAT fast, but he does know how to find that running lane, and knows how to juke and jive his way to the endzone. Solid pick for us!! GO RAMS!!!!
He plays a lot faster than that, as someone who has seen him play multiple games in person.
40 speed doesn't matter when can sustain long runs like this...do you see how he's faster as he goes...that's just as important. He also hits the whole fast...that's more important too. He's gonna be nice!

If you've watched all the games,you'd see that he has more to his game than running free all the time....he's shifty enough and can break tackles as well. What you're not gonna do is catch him from behind.

Born August 19, 1997. Played high school football for the South Panola Tigers (MS). Played college football for the Memphis Tigers. Drafted #70 overall by the Los Angeles Rams. First game is August 10 at the Oakland Raiders. The 2019 season begins in 3 weeks with the Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Canton, OH. With hard work and dedication, Darrell may find himself there one day. He is most likely a shoe-in for the Mississippi and Tennessee athletic Halls of Fame and also the Memphis Athletic Hall of Fame. Maybe even the College Football Hall of Fame.

38 Games (2017-2018 & 2018-2019) total fumbles 4 - I would say he's doing just fine and sure, things only get tougher in the NFL but I'm sure the coaching staff will adjust his ball handling and ball transition skill set.
There are more clips of him switching the ball....he's gonna be straight...the coaches will fix that minor issue,if it's even an issue

I hope the Rams found a diamond here, very fast and able to move side to side extremely well. Skill coming out of the backfield as a receiver is something to like as well. Not sure what his chip blocking skills are at this point in his development as a Pro but hopefully he is able to learn and understand the importance of blocking at the pro level.

A lot of those holes simply will not be there in the league however this kid while not as powerful as Gurley is so quick that if you miss him he's gone

Watching these highlights bring back great memories but I'm still pissed at Mike Norvell for that damn Navy loss. Henderson was making plays every time he touched the ball but didn't touch the ball late in the 4th quarter. He was punished because Patrick Taylor had a late fumble. Norvell tried to make young Brady White a hero when it was raining.
Sure Norvell was great at Memphis, arguably the best ever but not above criticism. He mismanaged having the trio of Tony Pollard, Patrick Taylor, and Darrell Henderson.
