You are right, another thing that bores me to death are "professional guessers". They seem to believe that everything is predictable and they can guess it in advance, but in this show it is impossible to achieve.

The series gets better and better and is of the best shows i have ever watched. The writing, characters, cinematography is superb and the show stays with you long after you experience each installment - just as a good art should do. This show operates on another whole level and we are so lucky to be able to experience it , especially without having to hang in for five years like I did when it first aired. If you decide to follow this show I will be here with you and everyone else for the entire ride.
You may have to fix your output frame rate before you render your video to prevent the 'stutter/choppy' video playback that you can see on the breaking bad video when the camera is moving, sometimes if the frame rate you screen record at is different from the timeline frame rate then it will cause these issues, other than that great vid
This is actually one of those shows that rope you win with in the beginning but keeps getting better with each episode and season and gets crazy you won't even believe how things turn out so keep with it it's a wild ride
Breaking Bad, and of course the amazing spin off Better Call Saul are just immense Of course Breaking Bad is an amazing show, as it was created by Vince Gilligan, one of the major writers on The X-Files, the 'daddy' of them all. An interesting piece of trivia is Bryan Cranston got the major role on this show as Vince Gilligan was so impressed by his performance on X-Files episode Drive. This first episode sets up the series nicely introducing us to the two major characters, and their unbelievable journey through this show. The cinematography and writing on Breaking Bad is incredible. The Winnebago being the first Meth Lab is iconic in this show. You will be amazed how this show develops over the Seasons with jaw dropping scenes. Enjoy your journey.
The characters dynamics (like Walt and Jesse) are one of the great things on this show! But really, it has it all... Writing, acting, the soundtrack, the twists, the progression, it's great at everything!
You are the first "Reactor" I have come across that mentions the symbolism of the scene at the pool with the matches. It may be an outward expression of Walts reflection on life - possibly along these lines: Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day, To the last syllable of recorded time; And all our yesterdays have lighted fools The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, And then is heard no more. @neonvibes You are right to read too much into everything. Please know that this show is packed full of symbolisms and metaphors, all the way down to the very colors of the clothes everyone wears. Cinematographers, writers and set designers worked overtime for this show. Everything is supposed to be dug deep into. A few times it'll be obvious like characters talking about the meaning of art while showing a real life example of something a character considers holding the same meaning and importants, where as other times it's less obvious like an episode that is pointlessly focused on something small and insignificant the whole time, is actually a very deep dive into a characters psyche and metaphors about the characters state of mind because all the characters are changing, which is the theme of the first episode and really the whole series. Its about adapting for survival and an explosion of change that is necessary when fighting for something important to you, or in this case, Walt. Which is why its also good to know that some of what walt teaches in class is sometimes utilized in the episode. Tl;dr The devils in the details and something this size has a lot of devils.
This IS one of the best shows ever produced and acted so yeah. If you react to the rest I will watch it all because it's enjoyable to watch people react to such quality and groundbreaking stuff. :)
I love Lucy was syndicated for 50 years, The Twilight Zone had Thanksgiving marathons for longer than she’s drawn breath The I love Lucy episode where she announces her pregnancy was the most watched television program before the Super Bowl, but sure Breaking Bad………which is good, it’s just not of all time good Top Five definitely
Yes this show is so good and another favorite is Stranger things actually if you haven't seen Stranger things yet it's a must watch and react to show when you finish this one but we are still waiting for the last season 5. And when you get to the end of breaking bad there is the movie called El Camino a Breaking bad movie to finish the story
Not really a "cult classic". Cult classic implies it's popular amongst a core group of people, but not amongst the general population. Breaking Bad was just straight out a massive hit.
After you are finished with this neo-classic show, you need to watch the prequel/sequel called "Better Call Saul." It is as good or better than "Breaking Bad." The acting, the script, the cinematography, the editing... all top notch.
Point of fact, Chemistry IS the study of chemicals! 😁 What Mr. White described (the study of life) is Biology or maybe Biochemistry. But all the synthetic chemists out there would object to his definition quite strenuously.

Season 1 is a tiny bit slow but from S2 onwards you'll be on the edge of your seat!
