He’s refreshingly different. Self-deprecating with a little boy innocence. Timing is perfect, sound and timber of his voice is perfect, I could listen all night.
One of the first bits from Nate that put me on the floor was when he talked about his plan for dealing with a home invasion, mentioning "my wife sleeps closer to the door. She's pretty tough. She's from Alabama ........"
This interview was like another special in itself! Man Nate is so funny, so happy to finally see him blow up (and not because of the diabetes)! Hello Folks! 😂😂
I always love when comedians are interviewed. It doesn’t matter what they are asked, they just shoehorn in their bit. “Are you setting resolutions?” “The other day I went to McDonald’s…”😂😂
Yea... we all kinda know that they're gonna do prepped bits, but this question-to-answer flow was SO obvious... I actually feel kinda bad for Nate here, even though the fault is on him for not flowing it well enough. I know the prepared the entire interview, but you can't blame Fallon here for Nate's robotic responses (not saying you did blame Fallon... but, still, just saying)
@@CJ-gy8ie is it possible that this is just how he thinks and speaks? If you follow Nate Bargatze, you may have heard his interviews on podcasts. He doesn't sit down and write jokes. He has specifically said that if he has an idea, he maybe writes "I eat a lot of sugar" on a piece of paper somewhere, and that's the last time he ever looks at it. After that he's talking it out on stage.
“I ate gummy bears last night in the hotel and I didn’t want to but I love them so much… and I love French toast and pancakes, I eat them everyday and it make me so tired.” 😂🤣 That was the best rant ever. I’ve definitely been there.
I've never been so proud in my 37-ish years on this planet as I am everytime I tell people how amazing Nate Bargatze is, that he's from TN like me, play clips or his specials for others & see them light up & experience physical pain from laughter & joy! AND that's saying something bc I'm a momma & I have 2 kids & they're doing alright.... but we all LOVE Nate Bargatze! Hope to take my family to see him live soon! Stay blessed Bargatze family!
Nate is a gas. I like it when he ignores Fallon's question about resolutions. It seemed like Nate might work in a resolution response when he was talking about pre-diabetes, but no, he stuck with ignoring, which cracked me up.
You say finally like it’s an anomaly. You sound like an old person that says there’s no good new music. Step your game up. Brian Regan Jim Gaffigan and loads of guys on the dry bar comedy RUclips channel
😍😍😍😍😍😍 this guy. I loooooove him and rewatch his specials, interviews and any clip of him OVER AND OVER!!!!! He gets more good~looking every year. And his humor is stellar.
Nate is by far my favourite comedian. I could watch his specials over and over again and laugh just as hard each time. His Nateland podcast is great. I prefer to watch the video version on RUclips. He’s awesome 🤩
Hey Jimmy & The Tonight Show, this guy is SIMPLY THE BEST. I don't know why Nate is all of sudden blowing up but he is by far just the funniest nicest guy EVER. lol! great interview. (have him back! would love to see him and jimmy do a skit)!
He's such a humble, genuine, kind human. It would be awesome to be friends with him for so many reasons! I watched his netflix show and have been searching through youtube watching as many of his videos I can find. I love this guy, no screaming, yelling as if the audience is hard of hearing, just the perfect tempo. I can't get enough.
I went to Nate's show in Reno back in July of 2021. Anyone that has followed Nate for a while knows that his dad is a magician/comedian and at the Reno show, his dad opened for him and was brilliant and hilarious. However, the most moving thing was how he closed his act and that was by saying, to a packed house by the way, "Thank you all for loving my son." It was so beautiful and moving and I just about get choked up thinking about it. Of course the crowd went nuts too. It was a great show and Nate was just as funny as always. It's great to see him doing so well.
See that's why he's one of the best ever imo. You saying he's not telling jokes is a testament to how effortless he does tell jokes. He absolutely has it down to where it seems like he's just talking but I promise this is all practiced. He's honestly brilliant.
@@mntwinsfan1988 This is totally true. You can see it if you ever watch different performances. He delivers the jokes in almost exactly the same way each time. The same pauses, the same stammers, it's brilliant really
After I watching this Tonight Show segment, I went to NetFlix to see what Nate is all about. He's terrific. There's one line, where he says to his wife ( when she tracks him via his phone to a Krispy Kreme shop) -------- "I can't live like this" --------- that just absolutely slayed me.
I absolutely love, Nate! I can also relate because I have hand dug my Koi pond, and it takes forever! It’s taking me 25 years to get it as long and deep as it is ha ha
that interview was so solid I would've paid full ticket price to see it. Nate is always on his game. just naturally funny. I don't even think he has to try
Nate is my go-to comic for any time I need a chuckle (or belly laugh) at the end of the day, and I don't want to have to think too much (I go to Dave Chappell for that!), just relax before I go to sleep~ always with a smile on my face. My second choice for that is Leanne Morgan~ she's kind of the female version of Nate, but closer to my age. They're both fucking hilarious and all they have to do is casually talk about their lives and I'm rolling on the floor. If anyone reads this who hasn't seen the SNL he hosted not long ago, it's a MUST SEE!! Hilariously brilliant from opening monologue to every skit he was in!!!
I think Jimmy was actually laughing, Not his fake laugh either. Nate is my kind of dry. Like extra dry champagne, the extra dry dryer setting, cotton mouth dry, desert dry. I love him.
I usually think that most comedians are funnier in real life, or on a podcast etc. But Nate is genuinely a funny guy, AND his standup is also hilarious.
I saw Nate perform in San Jose, CA at SAP Center and it was an 6:44 amazing set (still chuckling over his hilarious stories about his earlier years) 😂 Nate: get yourself to a doctor for follow-up testing for pre-diabetes ASAP! Please go soon 🙏
I love Nate. He is always entertaining to watch with his stories, but I end up giggling, laughing aloud and just grinning the entire time. I think I am chemically addicted to him. **happy brain chemical abundance
Nate's line delivery is so unique I love it. It has an air of laziness, boredom, and complacency, but it belies an intelligent side I think lol.
Great description. I agree. He even comes across as pretty smart if you hear him speak in certain situations where he’s not doing bits.

Nate is my favorite!! That was the least interruptive I've ever seen Jimmy Fallon.
He couldn't stop laughing the whole time. That was great.
The question about his parents was "code" for "let's wrap this up we gotta go to commercial"

He is a naturally funny man. And the part where he’s having this conversation with a guy who’s thinking about becoming a comic, that is so real life.
His joke about not being able to prove he’s from the future if he time traveled kills me every time!
Legitimately one of the funniest concepts for a joke I have ever heard.
If my family was held hostage and their release was based on my knowledge of President names, I'd carry their memories to the grave.
That’s the first joke I heard by him!
"Ok, who's the next president?"
"oh boy..."
Love that, also love his "sixth sense"-routine, or the coffee one, or the McDonalds one, or the dead horse one, ok Imma stop or it won't stop
Nate is so naturally hilarious, like his voice was made for comedy
He carved his voice by doing years of comedy
@@ferise1 But makes it seem spontaneous and natural...amazing skill!
I loved how Jimmy asks Nate about his New Years resolutions and Nate disregards and immediately starts talking about McDonald's 😂
His New Years resolution is clearly to eat healthy haha
I noticed that too 😂
Or he only wanted to talk about his prepared material 😬
He’s the most relatable
I mean, it was a bland switch in subject and he strangely slipped in that he talked with Kate Blanchett
"and it makes me so tired..." Gold Jerry!
He deserves every accolade. Naturally hilarious. 🔥
Nate is my all time favorite comedian. His relativity, tone and delivery are top knotch.
