Spanking or hurting the skin of a child is wrong. I was spanked until age 6 by dad. He once knocked the air out of my lungs then dropped me from over his head. Mom beat me with a belt…took off the buckle. I hid the belt once. She got a tree switch. It left welts for days. I’d rather she had done me in. It’s too painful to endure. My sis was beaten too and she scratched me up with her nail. I still have scars. My sis twisted mom’s arm holding the belt and threw her into a chair. Sis was 17. Mom cried like a baby but stopped beating us. I would nvr have touched my mom, but who knew stopping her would be so easy.
What you described is abuse not discipline, discipline such as spanking should never be done in anger and is certainly not dropping a child from over your head or leaving marks on their body
Why post this here? What is the point? What is it supposed be?…..part of a standup set? Some kind of fable or profound wisdom? Unsolicited fishing for sympathy?
Many medicines work just fine past the expiry date. It may take them a decade to become 50% effective. Some like some antibiotics do go bad. Some become toxic. So Google the name of the medicine and find out how fast and in what way it goes bad before throwing it away. A good rule of thumb is that if you don't air conditioner, then it's probably good forever. If you have to air condition it then it's going to last a long time. If you have to refrigerate it then it's probably actually going to go bad but I only need 6 or 8 sprays of Flonase to control my allergies each summer. I was still using a bottle that was 8 years past its expiry date and it was still controlling my allergies before it ran out. But do check with Google and don't assume.
