those italian fouettes slayed me.
Looking at some of the negative comments on this, and other of Miko's videos, her greatest problem is going to be dealing with envious people. I hope she will keep her eye on the ball and manage to rise above it. Go girl, you bring smiles to the faces of so many people!
EVZYL I agree with you. A lot of people criticize her a little cruelly, IMO. But she’s gorgeous in any aspect. BTW love her gorgeous tutu!

Ok, so I wasn't really impressed with the first part, but those Italian fouettes completly blew me away. Not many people can manage those so flawlessly.
Her arms during those Italian Fouettés are so fluid, I feel like this is the first time I’m looking at the arms when someone performs them.

Kamila Reeder well she was injured while performing this she injured her toe on the dot that she was doing her Italian fouettés on

+JjeanS2150 Oh tut tut. What misplaced snobbery. I'm a Rusophile who lived in Russia for three years and spent most evenings at the ballet. Miko could walk into any of those companies if she chose to do so. You're just jealous. Why don't you post a video of your own version of this variation?
+EVZYL she needs more emotion, and she probably couldn't be a part of a Russian company because all of their dancers are Russian, tall, and have good feet or hyper extension and they are extremely turned out, miko is a great ballerina I know, but in the eyes of something trained in Vaganova she does not have those qualities

I agree and disagree. Milo won gold at the Moscow competition, so she could probably go and join a russian company. But I get what you mean about not having vaganova or marinsky quality.
I think in this video for a 15 year old her technique was great!
