Patrice perfectly undermined his own assertions on racism. Irish people weren't racist until they were forced to live among blacks... Then for some reason they started having contempt for them.🤔
Irish racism against blacks is a softer racism than american racism, Irish racism generalises over pretty much anyone that isn't Irish, there's no racist history in ireland there's just normal racism that everyone has when they see someone that they don't understand as a part of the culture
The English had drummers and fife guys too because that was how you gave orders to troops back then during the chaos of war. You also had flag guys that you knew things were bad and tie to retreat if flag guy went down and no one took his place

And before that he played football for Michigan when they went undefeated and won the national title in back to back years. However poor his record was as president, Gerald Ford achieved enough for 5 lifetimes.

When Patrice talks about Ireland he's spot but it wasn't the Nigerians or Chinese because in all fairness they assimilated and never really caused too much trouble until maybe the last couple of years out in Blanchards town and those guys are all born in Ireland some even second generation mothers, and like that there wasn't much trouble until recently but that's a drug related all across the board in Dublin problem , the actual problem people were eastern European, they If anything caused alot of damage see because of there European passport they automatically could get a weekly welfare payment if unemployed and because of the economic book buildings poping up left right and center and they would work for cheaper cash in hand or If not cheaper but longer, so basically put Irish people out drained the fucking resources massively because often enough they would be sharing a one bed flat with about 8 so yeah tax and welfare fraud, pretty much alcoholics and junkies alot in Dublin, yeah like there ability to work so much is incentive to the pay off and they could work 3 to 10 years here that way and have a house in the country back home in eastern Europe or the Balkans and Russia, they also had a trend of taking massive loans from credit unions and not paying back and disappearing and this was not possible for African or asian immigrants because they didn't have a European passport and they all worked there arse off if they were aloud like some came as refugees and it's only been in the past 3 years it's being abused by a large mix of people all over abusing the system... Yeh we are the blacks of Europe that African American tempermant can shine through alot here at times particularly Dublin
And invested well in Jimmy. They really paid off with Norton's network of comic friends. Most of us are came here just to listen to the archive of East coast's finest.

Irish racism against blacks is a softer racism than american racism, Irish racism generalises over pretty much anyone that isn't Irish, there's no racist history in ireland there's just normal racism that everyone has when they see someone that they don't understand as a part of the culture
@@n.rfaherty9819 There's plenty of racism in Ireland. You're no saints... stop thinking so highly of yourselves.
DAMNNN I just got hit hard with nostalgia when they talked about MAX X.

The English had drummers and fife guys too because that was how you gave orders to troops back then during the chaos of war. You also had flag guys that you knew things were bad and tie to retreat if flag guy went down and no one took his place
Naw the English had drummers & fife guys because that’s how you start a motherfuckin party dawgy!

As much as I love these guys... before Gerald Ford was President, he was Vice President, he was house minority leader for 8 years and was in Congress for 24 years. Before that he served in WWII. And before that he played football for Michigan when they went undefeated and won the national title in back to back years.
However poor his record was as president, Gerald Ford achieved enough for 5 lifetimes.

It’s hard to tell if Anthony, Patrice, and Louie are comedic geniuses or if they’re just being compared to Opie so they just seem amazing.
I think it’s more that the comedians are genius’ , ant is sometimes funny but mostly him and opie look unfunny when they speak with real comedians , We all would... that’s why there comedians ...
Opie makes Anthony look good but Patrice and Louis are top tier comics.

@2:08:14 Patrice ROASTS himself. And plays it off so cool 😎 the 🤴 ⚫
43:40 "Appeal" 😂
Near 43:50. Patrice found a way to turn an "appeal" in an Iraq death penalty into another form of death. I cracked up hard I would have never seen that
This is probably my 4th listening to this ever
yeah same man
this and gallagher for different reasons
What’s a weapon tree??
The bottom or luggage compartment on planes aren’t pressurized so if a bullet hits them nothing will happen. If you shoot inside the pressurized cabin and a hole could definitely be blown open
34:30 This whole segment is unbelievably funny
Patrice was a comedy genius He mixed the Tuskegee Airmen with the Tuskegee experiment and it was hilarious
I caught that, but he was mixing both, U think he realized.
You can hear Patrice's sigh of annoyance after Opie decided to take a phone call in the middle of laughter.
Opie is the worst he literally hit the lotto when he paired up with Anthony
And invested well in Jimmy. They really paid off with Norton's network of comic friends. Most of us are came here just to listen to the archive of East coast's finest.
Or maybe, despite his flaws, he has an amazing eye for talent
@@charlest5604 an amazing eye for talent, that chose Sherrod Smalls & Vic Henley? Coincidentally, the two people that never called Opie on his bullshit? Hmm
@@tobymcgroby8967
For how many years did both Ant, Jim, Vos, Patrice, etc not call Opie out for his crap? Still an amazing eye for talent that made people around him feel uncomfortable. Try harder kid, you're not on my level
@@charlest5604 Yeah you raise a good point, but he wasn't getting away with his bullshit anymore, & ultimately had to surround himself with people who would kiss his ass. You'd have to be crazy to disagree.
And really? Kid? Jesus christ you're an unlikable douche. None of this shit matters, it's fun to rip on Opie, after the near two decades of delicate avoidance & walking on greggshells. It's satisfying for people who've had to grow up with an insecure Opie of our own. Kid, he says. What an ass
2:41:00 If this were today the parents would be complaining that the Doll doesn't say its pronouns.
2:50:28 Opie doing what he does best
It was line of the day, and one of the funniest exchanges ever on O&A...
...and Opie cuts off the banter with a phone call.
Opie trying to be cool and relating to Patrice by finishing his sentence about being too afraid to even look at your card balance is sickening. He’s still worth over $12 million, and he hasn’t had a job in 6 years. There’s no way Patrice didn’t secretly hate his guts.
I think he was grateful just to be on the show so be tolerated him. Idk about hate lol
43:50 Patrice' "appeal" joke was Chip level genius lmao 🤣

Fun fact:
"The stupid drummer guy" was one of the most dangerous positions to fill. They were the guys messaging the tactics so they were targeted first...
