Is it possible to use connected sheets just like normal sheets in google sheets? Also, will it be possible to write vlookup functions looking for data in connected sheets?
Can I use Apps Script to use the data in the connected sheets and use functions like .getRange or .getSheetbyname, etc.? Can we treat and consume the connected sheet as a normal sheet? My end goal is to perform calculations in another Google sheet based on the data in Connected Sheet
Once I select a project I am only able to run a custom query, I do not get the list of datasets then tables, and the wizards do not appear. Do I need to turn a setting on somewhere?
One of the google sheet with Big query data connector stopped auto refresh after 1 year of use, have to click on refresh manually, even the refresh option setting shows refresh every day. Anyway to diagnostic the issue?
If I created a connected sheet, how do I delete that connection afterwards? I don't need it anymore in that file and want to delete the connection. I have been googling without any luck on how to do it.
How do I revert the bigQuery connection? as for now, after the connection i can not delete the bigQuery table it self. is it a one way road? I get this error : UPDATE or DELETE statement over table 'my awesome table' would affect rows in the streaming buffer, which is not supported please help and advice
When creating a pivot table from my connected data source, the option to SUM data in my values is not present. I have added formatting to my query to ensure that the output is a number format, but must be doing something wrong. Can anyone shed light on how I might solve for this?
This was so great in the beta version. But now, in Enterprise, the Connected Sheet can only refresh at a 24 hr interval. What?!?! I can no longer run a script on a timer trigger to refresh every 10 minutes, you know, like they did in the Business beta version?
@@marekzada9330 This is for people who use big query (with billions of rows in the backend) to connect the sheets. Dont think most people need the enterprise edition.
@@marekrzeszotarski6141 Not anymore. They just yanked it from Business, and it's much different in Enterprise. We just upgraded in order to keep the Connected Sheets tools we've built, but the features are different in Enteriprise, and not as functional for us. I feel bamboozled a bit.
@@marekzada9330 And the beta version was more useful for our needs. We just upgraded to Enterprise, the only reason was to keep Connected Sheets that we were developing in Buisness edition. Well, they yanked the beta and in Enterprise is no longer useful for our application without a high frequency refresh to the bq source. You can only refresh the data set every 24 hrs!!! lame.

This is Amazing 👍👍👍❤️❤️👌
My "add data connection" box doesn't give me an option to select the file. Do you know why that happen?
How to display Data Connectors in the Data Menu ?

Is the option to connect to BigQuery only available on the paid version? I am using for free and there is no data connectors option in the tools tab!
Do you know more now? I have the same problem but don't know how to fix it! :/ I would be happy if you answer me

Does this also work for TXT formats?
how to quit the preview and see full data instead?
Good🤩
I love all of this but the one problem I've encountered is that you can't change the type of those columns.
this is a big problem for me.
Good
Why can't I see data connectors in my sheets?
gotta upgrade to enterprise
It's available for free accounts now.
What G-Suite edition is required for Connected Sheets? I do not have Connect option for my GCP projects, just write query. Please advise.
Oh, just found it: gsuiteupdates.googleblog.com/2019/04/connected-sheets-beta.html
Why Enterprise only? Not to mention that it is a beta feature...

It is available in business, not only in enterprise edition.
