uncharted4: Constant CE-34878-0 crash UNPLAYABLE

- (Note: My camera is on auto focus and goes out of focus when then the screen is dark at a few places)
Here's my total experience with Uncharted4 on PS4. The game is broken and does not work. I have never got more than 10 secs into the prologue video. Have not played 1 sec of the actual game.
My uncharted 4 is stuck at 0.00 remaining in the loading screen. I can’t believe this is an issue 4 YEARS after the game launched. I played about 2 hours of this game before this issue. Very disappointing that I can’t play this game that I was having quite a fun time with.

Update: I just freakin bought it from the Ps4 Store and it works so perfectly and runs smoothly. It sucks that I had to buy it but the disc itself was corrupted and I rlly couldn’t do anything.

i managed to get it working yesterday for a while until i died at one point and it took me back to the loading screen where the time was on 00:00. i gave up and tried it today and now it’s just not working all together and most of the time the disc won’t read and on the small chance it actually comes on the timer either says 00:00 or the time is going up. super frustrating because i really wanna play this but don’t wanna pay £20 just to buy it again in the ps store.
When i try to start the story, it has a bar and says 0:00 remaining.
Same, it’s very disappointing, I really wish naughty dog would fix this instead of being ok with the game being unplayable to some players

Same here . Been stuck in the game. The game freezes while so in the death trap puzzle or sometimes in the beginning.

Same.. My Uncharted 4 crashing to in the level 19 (Avery's Decent). I'm only twice to level 19, the first one is fine, but the second time it crashing/freeze. I never comeback again to level 19 😑

I guess the only thing you could try is to delete the install data from your drive, wipe the disc and re - install , it could be a corruption in the install data . If the same happens again, probably report it . Naughty dog will hopefully patch it in an update
i just got the disc out of fucking seal after the boat scene about 1 minute in the game the save file becomes fucked and game crashes spits out the disc
Same here, can't get past the boat sequence, but MGSV, Far Cry 4 and every other game I own including The Last of Us and The Uncharted Collection all play flawlessly for hours and hours without a single error code . Uncharted 4 is a mess, 'so' glad I returned it for a full refund. I don't think this problem with UC4 will ever get fixed...
I just tried my Nathan Drake collection. All three of them also now crash with the 34878-0 error as soon as gameplay starts. Brilliant.
What PS4 software do you have...
+Simon Firth Currently on v3.55. I played through UC:NDC on v2.50 months ago without a problem.
I've not updated to 3.55 yet, and I don't think I'll bother...
Checked for updates on system and game, restarted PS4, deleted Uncharted multiple times and redownloaded it and finally did a full "Initialise" on the PS4. Still happening!
Was really looking forward to playing this game.
Anything else I could do?

Well I had a black screen problem on boot up and I needed to delete my save, including multiplayer

This happened to me to and it’s been 7 years since this game happened
My game error at the loading After 99%. I need to update the game. I don't want update because its take 99+ hours
The fix is to delete your save game unfortunately.
I checked every video on RUclips. If that doesn't work disconnect from the network

@@peco_mason4996 I don’t think it works, this game went free on ps plus less than a week after I was having this issue so I just downloaded and played the game digitally.

@@peco_mason4996 Yea I was sad at the time too because I was having a lot of fun with the game. The game seems to work fine digitally. The game is free on ps5 and it’s only $10 on the ps store. Definitely recommend buying it digitally. That worked for me, my ps4 first said it couldn’t read the disk and then it wouldn’t load the game, it seems like maybe there’s a problem with a lot of disks out there.
I had the same problem with mine. I did find a way to fix it.
1st) uninstalled the game
2) turned off (Power off) PS4 for 2 mins.
3) turn on PS4 and keep holding the power button till you hear another beep.
4) let go of the button. Your PS4 should load up with a screen that has a bunch of options.
5) select Option 5. Rebuild data drive.
(This is safe , all your apps, games and saved data will be safe and untouched)
6) once complete the system will reboot and now you can play Uncharted 4

hi im on the Philippines and it happens to me just now so i tried looking for solution and YT is the first thing in my mind...and to my surprise this issue happens 5 to 7yrs. ago in other countries 😂 and upto now no solution

I was doing the speedrun trophy and my game crashed at chapter 11 and I hitted my controller so bad it broke

I was about to upgrade from 500GB to 1TB anyways so i did that and not take any uncharted 4 save files with since it crashed looped the first minute of gaming for me.. Anyways after reinstalling the firmware on my fresh hdd and redownloading the game patch its not crashing for me anymore and I can now proceed in the game

Yes. Made no difference. The original HDD is in the console at the moment.

I had this issue all you have to you is uninstall the game and re install again it should fix it

Salt For me it turned out the issue was the Blu-ray disc detector part of the Blu-ray drive. it wasn't detecting discs that were in the drive and thus the copy protection check failed. Sony replaced my console and I've not had this issue since.
