Hey, I have a question. Why are you sending +6 DB on your send busses instead of having it at unity gain? in some scenario you could be sending a clipping signal into your send Busses. Also your rolling a-lot of low end in your vocals in which i used to do a-lot but i found that you really get a-lot of great stuff in the 100- 150 range. i would encourage you to cut less and instead do a cut around the 250-300 range to get rid of that annoying boxy sound and mess with the Eq around 100-125 while also messing with the fader. you might find your vocals will feel more intimate and able to grab the heart of the listener more. also you have such a great personality and passion! keep growing! you're going to be really GOOD.

i have been subscribed to you're channel since 9k... So many cool stuff.... This video was very informative. Can you make a video on how to make low vocals clear in the mix. When I record low notes singing it decays in the mix and more increasing brings more noise. so any solution. My channel is also all about remaking covers.
Thanks for being a long-time subscriber! I'd recommend messing with your mic input levels, and then changing your distance from your mic when you're singing to make sure your softer singing is still coming in clear with minimal noise, and distancing yourself a bit when singing louder.
I think I've used autotune like 2 times in my entire life for one of my own tracks-I definitely use pitch correction though. Autotune won't help blend your vocals, that happens in the way you mix your tracks. I hope that helps!
Really stupid question but at the beginning and end of each vocal tracks, it looks like you have a quick fade in/out? Is that true, and if so how did you do that? Thank you!!!
Hi! Big fan of your mixing and sound! When I downloaded the vocal plugging from the link, it says "cannot open file" every time I try to open it up in Logic... Did I download it wrong?
Not sure if you figured it out, but the instructions and the files should be in your downloads folder. If you have a Mac, you will search in finder the name of your computer. An icon with a house 🏠 will appear with the name of your computer then keep following the instructions and paste the files where they belong. Let me know if it helps or if you need further instructions. Good luck!
HAD THE SAME ISSUE to find it on the waves market, the plugin's name is NLS NON-LINEAR SUMMER , when you download that, you will actually find that nls channel inside it. Hope this helps, God bless

I'm sorry but to my ear they are quite different. The one with 3rd party plug ins is smoother and more polished. I really like it.

Why do you have most of your effects on L Mono and not stereo ? Should that not only affect the left only?
In my monitors, there was a massive difference between the stock and ‘you chain’ honestly

Hello I just purchased your Lead Vocal Presets (stock plugins) but I cannot open it in my Logic Pro x :(
You need to paste the files in the right folder for them to appear in logic. There is a pdf included that shows where to paste them.
