I have a 2019 Levo, and while I've never had any issues with water ingress at the charge point, the new double-door looks to be an improvement. I hope they've sorted the belt durability issues for good now. I had to have a new motor at 1000 miles (all off-road), but as it was replaced in an hour this would not stop me recommeding buying a Specialized, the service network (in the UK) is excellent. I love my Levo!

If I fancy a change I might put on some fox 38’s and a 27.5” rear wheel. These new bikes are a bit pricy. I paid £4800 for my carbon comp.

I've been involved with the world of bicycles for 40 years. I embraced the e bike completely and have been riding one since they launched the product. I encouraged the use of them. Convinced race organiser to run a class at their events, took verbal abuse from riders at venues and generated as much publicity as possible for the product.
I've recently started to question why I did this and actually regret pushing the use of e biked and now the itonic thing is the same people that verbally abused me are now buying them. The pricing structure on e bikes is now utterly staggering and has actually priced people like myself out of the sport.
True story. Interpret it any way you wish.

I'm loving my Turbo Levo 3rd gen, best bike I have ever had ! & I've had some beauties ( eg. Yeti's ) it's wonderful to ride & party in the back & super stable upfront it's poppy ! So much FUN !!!! It's so verscitile, going from 65.5 down to 63.0 H/A it will pretty take on anything with a beefy 38 upfront! & the mastermind always updating to make your experience even better ! & By holding the plus button down it will show in each mode that you do manually what percentage from 10% to 100% ! Eg. If your on say 100% in trail & you want less assistance you may want to take it down to say 50%, 60% or just to 70% in 10 % increments by pressing the +or - button it's that easy & responsive a joy that's just one of many examples! Best mtb purchase by a long way ! 👍👌🔥🔥

Mastermind? Big name for a piece of software that tunes you're ebike motor and gives you some details about its use etc.... Fair enough I guess it's marketing at its best!
Have to admit of all the brands Specialised appear to have really embraced the new tech. To me them and Haibike are the 2 ebike makers that are setting the industry standards. There's others pushing the tech to see what it can do yes but those 2 are actually releaseing the stuff I think we'll see for a long time.

All the videos I've seen so far on the launching of these two new 2022 models are more o less the same and I can see and appreciate the improvements made to the Levo (Geometry, electronics etc). The only problem I see is that WHILE there is a long waiting list to buy a Levo at present here in UK and I think it's more or less the same everywhere, Specialized managed to introduce a new bike while kicking the people (like me) who are on the waiting list to get what is now, an old version (2021). This, is my opinion is a piss taking from Specialized towards buyers.

If only the reliability would reflect the price? With so many people complaining about reliability and the dearest price tag, why do they go hand in hand with this brand? I think they should extend the warranty period as a gesture of good faith and put this issue to rest IMO. Let's hope the new belt and waterproofness features deliver their promise? Some great updated, spoilt by the price and no aluminium comp version. Hopefully they are testing the water with the current price points to see if they need a competitively priced comp in the range, otherwise they will loose custom to many other brands, equally speced and 30% less. But you will still see plenty of grinning over 50's (I'm 58) taking delivery of their s works outside the LBS, paying through the nose to be unpaid "testers" of reliability. I'll give it to 2023 when the reliability is proven and a realistic price point is established.

Specialized had to somehow pay for all the motor replacements and warranty extensions on the GEN II Levo....hence the ridiculous price for the GEN III. Insanity!

How does this do on asphalt trails? I have a SWorks and it does good on both but wanted to upgrade now not sure.
I ride half mtn bike trails and half asphalt trails with the wife.

Just to back up my first comment about overpriced, I costed out the bike in retail value of parts fitted and allowed £2000 for a motor and battery. The total cost came to £6639.00 for a bike costing £12999.00. This makes the frame £5340.00 !
I bet Specialized don't pay full retail for the parts they buy in bulk. Bike shops generally get 35% off parts from distrubutors (not much when you take into account VAT), so lets guess that Specialised get 50% off maybe ? They are retailing a bike that costs them £3319.50 plus frame cost, for £13000.00.
    I say again , NUTS ! :)

No new seals in the motor? Especially on the crankshaft. That is where most water ingress into the motor happens. New battery door and seal? Nice, but it doesn't tackle the elefant in the room.

Nice embark and range of sizes. But I would like the charging port to be near the front fork stem area way up there. As is my no name efatbike is. Bending over all the time.
Hmm. Plus to be honest. The styling needs to be better. But the quality is good. And more electric options. More options more buyers simple marketing.
