This was my soundtrack to the pandemic. I remember walking the completely empty streets with this in my headphones. All i had with me was an emergency work permit and the faint hope that i might survive this. Epic cover.

Just one of those moments where you close your eyes and imagine the song as a tendril of emotion that just takes your mind some place else. Beautiful.

Interesting because this song captures dread, pain, loss, all things apocolyps. But you find that at times those sounds and emotions can come off as peacfull.
It's supposed to resemble pure terror
I really love how they mixed together Hamlet and True detective into this theme...
The best is Cohle's part : To realize that all your life - you know, all your love, all your hate, all your memories, all your pain - it was all the same thing. It was all the same dream, a dream that you had inside a locked room, a dream about being a person. And like a lot of dreams, there's a monster at the end of it.

Without this song in the soundtrack on 28 days later. The movie would not have been what it was. This version is grand enough for an epic graphic novel animation version of the movie. Or in all hopes a sequel... 28 years later. Awesome job guys. Need that full album... link????
