Wow! What an amazing rendition! I know you're playing this, but the audio and video are out of sync by the length of the title card, the audio needs to be shifted to either the end of the video or when you touch the keys. It's beautiful to listen to, just know that you are listening ahead of what's being played. It's like MIDI latency in reverse, instead of hitting the note and waiting for a sound, the sound happens, then the note is hit like going backwards in time. Anyway.. All your covers are great, I really loved the Radiohead ones, and I'm glad there is Pink Floyd in here, I'm trying to introduce a Pink Floyd fan to Radiohead's real music aside from the radiopopular Creep, and piano musical expression really brings the dynamics to life.
Dear Josh, the audio on this recording is not linked to the video. The audio starts long before your hands hit the keys. As someone who plays by ear, it makes this incredibly hard to watch and follow along. Beautiful to listen to still however.
@@joshcohenmusic Twasn't me, I swear! xD Thanks for fixing the sync! It feels like a pretty major bug on RUclipss part, if the problem was with the title card.
This one didn't take too long. Probably spent no longer than an hour working on this one. I used the official sheet music as a reference and pieced it together from there.
I’ve been doing some thinking recently about this channel and a thought popped into my mind overnight. It’s been a really interesting journey sharing my love of the piano with everyone all over the world. It still trips me out that I spend an afternoon recording a track (it has to be the afternoon for those curious about the process, as the piano is lit by natural light - it’s best between 1pm - 4pm in the room that I’m recording in), sitting by myself in front of a piano in my music school, and that people from all over the world get to experience a very private moment of my creative process. What I find particularly interesting though is when I listen back to these interpretations, there’s a pretty strong disconnect between playing/recording the tracks and hearing them back. Without a drop of ego, I personally enjoy listening to these tracks either late at night to help me fall asleep, occasionally in the morning when I wake up to find some more motivation about working on my Radiohead songbook, but my favourite time would definitely be when I’m travelling, especially in airports or on planes, and also on public transport. As there are a lot of returning subscribers and listeners on this channel, my question to you is this: Where and when do you listen to these tracks? What are you doing? Working? Studying? Travelling? Eating breakfast? Passing out? What time of day is it? What do you see? How does it make you feel? I’d be very curious to hear your thoughts, so hit me up. As always, thanks for supporting the channel and for incorporating this music into your lives. Man, the internet blows my mind sometimes x
For me, I'm listening to this on Sunday night in Tyler, Texas while I smoke a cigar and enjoy an adult beverage on my porch. It doesn't get much better.
Every time I listen to one of your piano pieces, it takes me back to the moment I first heard the original track…and that feeling is something I never thought I would be able to experience again…I recall where I was, who I was with and what we were doing….more importantly, I remember EXACTLY how I felt hearing the song from beginning to end for the first time…. I normally use your tracks for transitions when I’m ready to get back to work after a break or drive…. Your originals and beautiful Radiohead renditions however, I listen to at night when I’m reading or researching on my computer…or when I’m trying to be creative…
I tend to be extremely critical of Pink Floyd covers because no one is ever able to capture the passion or feeling that Pink Floyd offers; however, this cover hits the nail in the head. With the perfect balance of proper crescendo and passion, you do a brilliant job at covering "Breathe".
wow i apperciate if u bother and read this long ranting :) i thought a lot about your question because well we barely ask why we feel a certain way especially about a song . tbh the original always makes me feel kinda homesick ...actually almost all pink floyd songs do . but this one particularly . it also brings up hope and and the feeling of sunshine on my face . i dont know how to say im not really good with words . i imagine it can be because of the lyrics and the light guitar and very smooth voice of mr gilmour . on the other hand your interpretation not only gives me the feelings of the original also something else . something your covers always does .maybe i think its because of the mellow tune of piano but mostly its your special way of playing .you add so much to the song . to the beginning and ending . sometimes except for the obvious tune of the song i have a hard time recognizing the song and i think thats amazing . at the end im not really sure why your cover gave me these feelings tbh but i enjoy it like every other song you covered . sorry if i couldnt explain myself very well . thanks for your updates . have a good day :)

It's 10:08 in a small northwestern ohio town. The kids are tucked in for the night and I spend a few minutes alone to myself, surfing the net, looking for a peaceful distraction while my wife waits for me to join her for slumber. I find that distraction in an old favorite tune, resurrected by your fingers. I sigh deeply with gratitude. Breathe.
I do like the bass on this piano. I find Yamahas to be a little too aggressive for my style of playing. Bass notes on the Kawais are often a little more rounded.
I like to imagine you living in a 2001 Space Odyssey pod on the edge of space and time, an immortal artist and historian of musical cultures, once content simply recording these marvelous interpretations but now cheekily sharing them back through time with the cultures of origin.

Perfect,. I have severe depression, this song is my go to on guitar, recently been learning piano. I regret that I will never be able like this , and this version blows the real one away in a sense. It is so far out there. Like he is swirling around in the sounds. And I don't know how he does it. But my depression sometimes is lifted after hearing this, other times, it gets worse since the song is so sad anyway. He obviously love the song as much as I do. Thanks for doing this.
Just got done sitting for hours reminiscing and going through abstract and watercolor art, then I watched the old Bladerunner movie for the first time. The existentialism and chaotic beauty I've experienced in the past few hours kind of has me in a trance at the moment. Clicking on this video on a whim is certainly increasing the quality of my dazed-but-intense natural high. I feel like I'm under water and in space and my mind is a battery for the vessel carrying me away. Wish I could be like this all the time.

Man, impressive song and cover. First thought was "how is the cover 11min long when the song barely hits 4?" but then it was totally worth listening, as usual! Would love to see you playing Starless, from King Crimson, or Shine on You crazy Diamond if you decide to go with more PF.
Admit, this was not easy to play, but a relief to hear... such a beautiful piece of music, isn't it? Well, actually I don't give a fuzz if anyone else likes this one because no-one can take away the feeling I get hearing it, but Breathe is by far my favourite composition Pink Floyd ever made. RIP Richard Wright, you left us an invaluable memory.
This takes my breath away. Amazing cover. I really can't explain how good this made me feel, especially the beginning. I love that moment where it sounds like something else, and then something I recognize. Your covers because you always bring something fresh to an already amazing song. How do you do that?
I'm not sure. It definitely has a lot to do with me studying jazz and improvisation at a tertiary level. I'm basically approaching these tracks from a fairly similar perspective 😄
i started laughing when i realised that i was breathless and song that was playing was breathe! Same feeling in the begining, never heard something like this!
Honestly i have been listening to these covers for a few years now every time they blow my mind AGAIN AND AGAIN. Such and amazing and full of emotion experience.
I just paused this video before you start playing to say this: Thank you for your effort to let us experience these songs we all love through your gifted hands. (Yup. Thats how happy this vid made me...)

Thanks for the kind words, Erik. Really interesting to hear how nostalgic the covers are for you. Really appreciate the support. Thanks for watching / listening 😄
Amazing! Richard Wright would have been proud of this one. Just one of the many times when I'm really grateful to RUclips for such suggestions. You can try some King Crimson covers, Islands maybe...
Work graveyard and I'm listening to this at 2:45 am before bed. Great interpretation of the song. I'm a big time floyd fan and appreciate the fluidity with which you play. Would love to hear you play shine on you crazy diamond.
This is the most mind blowing thing i’ve ever watched in my life.. i don’t know whether to focus on his incredible hand movement and how smooth it is on the keys or to focus on the mechanism of the piano
If an emotional response is what you seek from people who hear your performance congratulations you just made me cry and not for the first time I have to admit. As always your playing timing and feel is exquisite. There is only one person I would rather hear play this but he is no longer with us.
Just outstanding!! And dreamy .. i hâte Covers .. and this is not one .. it’s some lights springing up from an inner intimate world strangely shared by millions !!! It’s a legacy from Richard the genius to everyone of us inviting h to breath and don’t care in a jazzy sweet freedom ..and than one day someone caught it perfectly and reflected it with colours that submerged by night a moment of our dark living ... love ❤️! Thanks for this piece of retrospective journey in the Floyd wonderful land !!! Peace ☮️ overwhelming us forever ! Thanks 🙏 josh !!
Home in bed, 240 am, thinking of an old lover. Smiling thinking of the love we shared. And despite the split, life is good, and I'm happy. As my cat lays in my hair, and the comforting sounds of PF dance through my mind off your fingertips. Thank you.
This is Pink Floyd music. It requires to understand their musical universe. They are a style on their own and it suits piano perfectly. Why there aren't more pianists playing this wonderful music is beyond me.
Thanks for the request, David. I've been meaning to cover a Floyd tune for a while now. Had a couple spare hours yesterday afternoon and thought I'd give it a crack. Appreciate the support! 😄
Brought tears to my eyes in the way that only music does. Floyd fan of 45 years. This was simply beautiful. Thank you so much. G'day from Hobart. "All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be".
Simply wonderful, It's 8:16pm in Cornwall I just got back home not cold but tired. I'm sat in bed winding down from the day getting ready for weekend. You are a beautiful soul. Thank you for your wonderful artistry.
Its 4am, I came to listen to piano. I'm hoping to learn something from the shape of hands playing piano. Aside from this, Pink Floyd are awesome, and your cover is calming. Thanks.
Pink Floyd has helped me through out my life. It is really hard to choose one particular song to be entitled as one's favourite. However, You did justice . Somewhere up in heaven Richard Wright is smiling. Thank you for this ! Hope there will be more Floyd covers ! Cheers from India
I have played piano the majority of my life--I'm 28 years old. You are certifiably amazing, my friend, and I can only vouch for those people who said that your covers elicit some nostalgic feeling that I can only describe as the feeling I got from my first listen of the original. It is undeniable that you have poured your soul into these videos, and the piano, combined with the classy monochromatic look (and the sweater :D). It also is not lost on me that you took the time to individually address almost every single person who comments on your videos. You, man, seem like a truly amazing person. Thank you for sharing your hard work with the world, and even transcribing it for the rest of us. You are officially the first channel that I have ever subscribed to after 10+ years of youtube.
Hey there Ninjabox, appreciate you taking the time to comment on the channel. I do read every single comment and even though I'm a little behind, I will get around to replying to everyone that comments on the channel. Appreciate the kind words and support. Email me at hello [at] joshcohenmusic.com
When I was a kind I was told than violin is a queen of musical instruments, the best of the best. They were all wrong. And your performance proves it. Thank you, Josh!
Absolutely beautiful. A piece of music so many of us know very well, over 40 years in my case. Listening to it helped calm me down from what was going to be an otherwise pointless evening RUclips surfing..... Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
This is a brilliant rendition of this song, its already an amazing song with awesome tones and chords but you really highlighted the theatrics of the music of Pink Floyd here, cheers mate this is amazing
First, I love your channel. Don't change anything about it. Big fan. Piano player myself. Learned to play while learning to talk... You naturally project feeling through your music. That's what it's about. Never change that. Having a natural ear, I want to get lost in music, but sometimes it can feel forced, ya know. You really are a natural talent, it never feels that way. I listen before bed, cooking, especially doing projects, building etc. I am also able to learn while you play. Thank you so much and continue what you do!! Much love
Listening to it sipping by cabernet and couldn't be enjoying it anymore. Comes of truly original..As if your only paying tribute not covering. Absolutely brilliant. Is this available for download?
if you hear Luis Alberto Spinetta or Gustavo Cerati, from Argentina you'll have a lot of great sounds to explore and maybe make a cover... this one is a mind-blower... great cover and it sound better when you put some of you in it... salutes from Argentina!
You should listen to Desarma y Sangra by Seru Giran. Charly Garcia (the pianist in that band) is one of the best musicians I know, and that is one my favourite piano pieces I've ever heard.
I listen to this song often. The cadence of this entire album rocks back and forth in my head in both states of intense wakefulness and deep sleep. This piano interpretation presents it so elegantly it feels like a new experience with every listen. I am quite thankful it exists.
I just checked out your patreon Josh, completely blown away that you have literally 1000:1 RUclips subscribers to patrons. Happy to become your 17th patron. To everyone else, if you love this channel like I do, help support the guy, decrease that ratio!
Answering to your question... it simply made me sing... I love Floyd and listening to this before work is a great way to start a day. Congratulations . This is what music is for
i literally just found this video and your page and have already decided im going to fall asleep to this beautiful piano interpretation to breathe and space oddity and great gig in the sky thank you for making these videos you are an amazing pianist and thats coming from a wanna be great guitarist
@Josh Cohen btw I just toured the Pink Floyd special exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London - they had a video segment of the makings of some of the songs and Breathe was featured in it - Richard Wright discussing the use of some unusual chords including C7#9 I think? He discussed hearing the chord / sequence on Miles Davis Kind of Blue. Just some interesting trivia, and a great exhibit for those traveling through London.
I'll be in London next month, so I might have to check it out. The C7#9 chord can be found in Blue in Green. It's also commonly known as the Hendrix Chord: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominant_seventh_sharp_ninth_chord#Hendrix_chord
I really can't express in words how spectacular you are Josh. You take music to a whole other level with your interpretations. It's become a habit of mine to just take some time and just lay down to listen to your music without distractions. It's truly an experience and I think you not only do the source material justice but you also offer yourself into the music which is something that a lot of artists can't do when they cover music. Keep being amazing.
Hey Jake, thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you're finding some inspiration from the music. It's really beautiful to hear thoughts like this, so thanks for taking the time to share it with everyone 😄
Such interesting songs to cover on the piano on your channel. Although maybe it's better to call what you do adaptations, since most of your work takes different directions than the original songs take, but while still maintaining the general themes. (You made a 12 minute track from a 3 minute track, and I'm not complaining :)) Once again a great performance and I'm looking forward to what you have in store next!
Yeah, that's an interesting point. Initially, the tracks were more direct interpretations of the songs I was covering, but I agree that they're heading into a different direction altogether. I'm definitely enjoying putting my own spin on the tracks at the moment, but thanks for raising an interesting point 😄
Beautiful. I thought I would listen to this song to go to sleep. I use an iPad and wireless Skullcandy earbuds. The song was so interesting I had to hear every note. I went to sleep soon after it was over. I’m a multi-decade wannabe musician, but if I had your talent I would never work a single day, if you know what I mean. I’m a five year fan of VKgoeswild, and I like to search RUclips for new versions of my old favorites. People like you keep old songs alive and fresh. You will be my new background to life music. My favorite musical instrument is the one I feel like hearing at that moment and big pianos are frequently desired. So I will play your tunes during the day while reading, paying the bills, cleaning up my email, or when I don’t want to think about anything. Brilliant version of a magical song. Bravo.
Love me some Pink Floyd! Didn't really expect this (same way I didn't expect a Bowie Cover :3) so lots of love and kudos to you! . . . . . . . PLEASE DO WISH YOU WERE HERE OR COMFORTABLY NUMB I THINK A PIANO ARRANGEMENT ON THOSE TWO COMPLETELY ORGASMIC SONGS WILL BE AMAZING
As a huge Pink Floyd fan I have to say what a beautiful and emotional cover! Thank you mate! PD: I was wondering if it would be possible to get the sheet music for it?
+Josh Cohen The sun just went down here on this small quaint town here on the east coast of Florida about an hour ago and with all the hustle and bustle downtown on Labor Day weekend I've been at the house all day making pot brownies and enjoying some extracurricular activities while listening to some of my old favorites and going through countless unknown "recommended" songs to find that one hidden gem and... well, the search has ended! I was listening to 'Dub Side of the Moon' by Easy star All-Stars earlier and that's probably why this was recommended and also the fact that I love piano and covers.... Fell in love within 10 seconds and can't wait to hear the entire album AND MORE!! Will definitely listen while waking, drinking coffee, writing, doing yoga, winding down, and sharing with my buds that will certainly enjoy! Thanks for speaking your mind and encouraging feedback. This is the only one i've heard so far and I am thoroughly impressed. Hope ' Us and Them' is just as good! Bon Voyage!!!

Breathe, breathe in the air
Don't be afraid to care
Leave but don't leave me
Look around, choose your own ground
For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all your touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be
Run, rabbit run
Dig that hole, forget the sun
And when at last the work is done
Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one
For long you live and high you fly

Honestly i have been listening to these covers for a few years now every time they blow my mind AGAIN AND AGAIN. Such and amazing and full of emotion experience.
Thanks for listening x
I just paused this video before you start playing to say this:
Thank you for your effort to let us experience these songs we all love through your gifted hands.
(Yup. Thats how happy this vid made me...)
Well, I appreciate the support and you taking the time out of your day to listen to the tracks, so thanks 😄
Humans are decent. Ideology tends to get in the way.
Please try Inside Job by Pearl Jam
Every time I listen to one of your piano pieces, it takes me back to the moment I first heard the original track…and that feeling is something I never thought I would be able to experience again…I recall where I was, who I was with and what we were doing….more importantly, I remember EXACTLY how I felt hearing the song from beginning to end for the first time….
I normally use your tracks for transitions when I’m ready to get back to work
after a break or drive….
Your originals and beautiful Radiohead renditions however, I listen to at night when I’m reading or researching on my computer…or when I’m trying to be creative…
Glad you enjoyed the track. Thanks for the requests 😄
Glad you enjoyed the track, Layan. Welcome to the channel ✌️
This is the best cover someone could ever do, so beautiful.
If an emotional response is what you seek from people who hear your performance congratulations you just made me cry and not for the first time I have to admit. As always your playing timing and feel is exquisite. There is only one person I would rather hear play this but he is no longer with us.
Thanks, Ross x
Pink Floyd is the only thing that matters in this universe.
THUMBS UP!!!
What a dumbass.
Amén
Absolutely
I think oxygen is pretty important too.
Home in bed, 240 am, thinking of an old lover. Smiling thinking of the love we shared. And despite the split, life is good, and I'm happy. As my cat lays in my hair, and the comforting sounds of PF dance through my mind off your fingertips. Thank you.
Goosebumps. That was fantastic!
I'll take more Pink Floyd covers any day.
Thanks very much, Sam. I'm sure there'll be some more Floyd tracks shortly 😄
Great sound and timing , you didn't rush the song. Your left hand stayed fluid and didn't overrun the central parts of the melody. Nice technique.
I've just stumbled across something so beautiful.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching! 😄
This is Pink Floyd music. It requires to understand their musical universe. They are a style on their own and it suits piano perfectly. Why there aren't more pianists playing this wonderful music is beyond me.
My request worked! Perfect choice by the way. Floyd works really well with your style of playing.
Can't stop listening. I think this might be my favorite cover of yours so far.
This is what I call perfection my friend. Can't rate music like this, such a wonderful piece
Thanks, Damian. Glad you enjoyed this track 😃
Thanks.
Nice one. Glad to hear you're enjoying the music. Thanks for watching and listening 😄
Pink Floyd has helped me through out my life. It is really hard to choose one particular song to be entitled as one's favourite. However, You did justice . Somewhere up in heaven Richard Wright is smiling. Thank you for this ! Hope there will be more Floyd covers !
Cheers from India
Glad you enjoyed the music. G'day from Australia! 😄
This is honestly one of the most incredible things I've ever heard. Bravo
Thanks very much. Glad you enjoyed the track 😄
you're touched by all the gods in the world... this is amazing, wonderful, beautiful, this is how the sky would sound... congratulations boy!
Thanks, Laura. Glad you enjoyed it 😄
Great Cover. Darkside of the moon is probably one of the best albums that ever been recorded.
I’d pay every penny to be able to play like this. A true gift my friend, found myself listening again and again
pink floyd! i've never hit open a notification so fast. :D bless.
Thanks for your support as always 😄
Always, no problem. :D
Playing another brick when your notification came up on my iPad. Thought I was playing it well too...until this. Thanks Mr Cohen. Thanks a bunch !
You're welcome, Rob. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel 😄
One of the most beautiful things I’ve heard 🤍
When I was a kind I was told than violin is a queen of musical instruments, the best of the best.
They were all wrong. And your performance proves it. Thank you, Josh!
So glad you enjoyed the track. Thanks for watching! 😄
Your improvisations/extemporisations are exhilarating
Your playing always manages to deliver me from the chaos of everyday life, if only for 12 minutes. Thanks for another beautiful upload, Josh.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel as always 😄
Absolutely beautiful. A piece of music so many of us know very well, over 40 years in my case. Listening to it helped calm me down from what was going to be an otherwise pointless evening RUclips surfing..... Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
Glad you enjoyed the track and thanks for the kind words 😄
Best cover of breathe, thanks.
Thanks, Dios. Glad you enjoyed it 😃
Stunning
This is a brilliant rendition of this song, its already an amazing song with awesome tones and chords but you really highlighted the theatrics of the music of Pink Floyd here, cheers mate this is amazing
Glad you liked it. Appreciate the kind words! 😄
Much love
Thank you so much, Jess. Appreciate the support!
Brilliant.
Thanks very much 😄
Listening to it sipping by cabernet and couldn't be enjoying it anymore. Comes of truly original..As if your only paying tribute not covering. Absolutely brilliant. Is this available for download?
+Curtis I'm looking into this 😃
Everything about this cover is awesome. just breathing this in now - wow....
Thanks, Byron. Hope you and the fam are doing well. We miss having you guys around! 😄
if you hear Luis Alberto Spinetta or Gustavo Cerati, from Argentina you'll have a lot of great sounds to explore and maybe make a cover... this one is a mind-blower... great cover and it sound better when you put some of you in it... salutes from Argentina!
Muchas gracias, Alejandro. I'll check it out 😄
You should listen to Desarma y Sangra by Seru Giran. Charly Garcia (the pianist in that band) is one of the best musicians I know, and that is one my favourite piano pieces I've ever heard.
Spinetta ♡
Venia recien de escucharme unos albumes del flaco y termine aqui igual
i really like an album called Artaud Spinetta dude is awesome. cheers from Brazil
He could comeback and make me cry with others Pink Floyd's covers...
Excelente versión.... una delicadeza el toque. saludos desde Catamarca Argentina.
That's in stereo and it sound good.Thank's Josh for show your hands playing the songs !!!!!!
One of my favorite songs of all time
Glad you enjoyed it 😄
I listen to this song often. The cadence of this entire album rocks back and forth in my head in both states of intense wakefulness and deep sleep. This piano interpretation presents it so elegantly it feels like a new experience with every listen. I am quite thankful it exists.
Thanks, Ray ✌️
Beautiful! The bass notes just kills me
Glad you enjoyed the track ✌️
Surpreendente 😄
Comes up to the original music. Really touching.
Thanks very much. That's very kind of you to say. Appreciate the support! 😄
I just checked out your patreon Josh, completely blown away that you have literally 1000:1 RUclips subscribers to patrons. Happy to become your 17th patron. To everyone else, if you love this channel like I do, help support the guy, decrease that ratio!
Thanks for your support, Ben. Nice chatting yesterday. Was great to talk to a fan on the other side of the world! 😄
just beautiful
This channel is truly a gem! I'm so glad I found it, amazing cover as always and most importantly amazing taste in music :p
Thanks, Tim. Glad you're enjoying the music 😄
Answering to your question... it simply made me sing... I love Floyd and listening to this before work is a great way to start a day. Congratulations . This is what music is for
Beautiful! Much love from Italy
Thanks so much 😄
I honestly don't know how you manage to nail it every time.
Thanks, Emily. Appreciate the support! 😄
Awestruck!
Hope there are going to be more Pink Floyd covers..
It's highly likely 😄
Yes, me too
Josh Cohen if you did an entire interpretation of dark side of the moon like this i would pay a lot of money for it ha
YES PLZ!!!
i literally just found this video and your page and have already decided im going to fall asleep to this beautiful piano interpretation to breathe and space oddity and great gig in the sky thank you for making these videos you are an amazing pianist and thats coming from a wanna be great guitarist
Thanks for the support, Brady. Glad you're enjoying the tracks 😄
This song always brought tears to my eyes...
A piano only cover doesn't help that... Nicely done.
Thanks very much 😄
we need more pink covers if you can
I certainly can - just need to find some more time! 😃
Richard Wright is smiling down on you!
Glad you enjoyed the track, James ✌️
I've been re-listening to a bunch of Pink Floyd albums this past week just as this came up in my reccommended, and thank god it did! I'm in love.
Awesome. Glad you found it! 😄
Such interesting songs to cover on the piano on your channel. Although maybe it's better to call what you do adaptations, since most of your work takes different directions than the original songs take, but while still maintaining the general themes. (You made a 12 minute track from a 3 minute track, and I'm not complaining :))
Once again a great performance and I'm looking forward to what you have in store next!
Yeah, that's an interesting point. Initially, the tracks were more direct interpretations of the songs I was covering, but I agree that they're heading into a different direction altogether. I'm definitely enjoying putting my own spin on the tracks at the moment, but thanks for raising an interesting point 😄
Jan DV really he just does covers right where you don't have to do the exact same thing as the original
@@joshcohenmusic yeah I think you love Pink Floyd's Dorian mode.. I think its good surprise chord prog..
Bravo.
Thanks for the support and the kind words. Enjoy the tunes ✌️
Great Gig in the Sky cover?
I had a go at this one today. It was feeling pretty good!
ruclips.net/video/JA4dLUCIsUU/видео.html
Josh Cohen josh i need your echoes cover immediately:)
I want to lay under a sky full of stars and listen it for one hour without taking a breathe.
This is ridiculous. Josh Cohen you are a beast, most likely of the mythical variety. Well done sir, I didn't think this was even possible.
I'm crying :')
Awesome 😄
The simplicity and sublimity of this masterful rendition is truly unparalleled
At 1:54 it hits me every time. I feel like I'm instantly stoned, but without the pot. Anyone else fell like that??
Yes. But I’m also stoned so twice the high
Love the wild clusters at the beginning. It's a very cool technique with a new sound that I think Waters, Gilmour, and Wright would highly approve of.
Thanks, Samuel. Glad you like it ✌️
Love me some Pink Floyd! Didn't really expect this (same way I didn't expect a Bowie Cover :3) so lots of love and kudos to you!
.

PLEASE DO WISH YOU WERE HERE OR COMFORTABLY NUMB I THINK A PIANO ARRANGEMENT ON THOSE TWO COMPLETELY ORGASMIC SONGS WILL BE AMAZING
Thanks for watching, Hanz. Glad you're enjoying the music 😄
Sir, your covers have been trying to find me all my life. Thank you!
11 Mins well spent.
