I expect the whole album of WYWH to take me a year or two to complete, and I will upload each track as I finish it. Thanks to all of you for your support over these long processes!
now that's a true fan and true artist, willing to spend a year or two to learn every note of a whole album, and being okay with not even having a half hour long video monetized.
Dude this is absolutely crazy! This album is one of the greatest of the music history and you played it without a mistake all the way through the end. BUT not only that, you reached the emotion and feeling that Pink Floyd put in this album and all their songs. Dude, I don't usually comment on youtube videos but this is one of the best videos I've ever seen. Just wanted to thank you for sharing your work and talent because probably you won't have enough recognition for your work because nowadays a few people has sensibility and patience to listen to this masterpiece but you need to be really proud of your work! Sorry for this long text hahahaha and for my English ,it is not my 1st language... Keep it up bro you will reach far!💪 Pink Floyd will never die !
I appreciate your comment very much, Jon! I know, it's a tough sell to invite people to watch a 40-minute video on RUclips, but for me a lot of the joy comes from the process of making these covers. The joy of having people listen and comment it is nice too, though! I am keeping it up, and am working on Wish You Were Here (the album) now. Thank you again for taking the time to write such a great comment.
My love of Pink Floyd’s music esp by someone who appreciates their music and songs like I do pulls me like a magnet wherever in the universe it’s being played. I have dreamt of playing all their songs on guitar and piano but can’t….so I listen to you sir and imagine one day I will be able to do this. Thank you for sharing and thank you for being a fan of the greatest band ever! God bless!!!
I know this is a pretty old video to be commenting on but this is absolutely insane mate. Truly something for piano beginners such as myself to aspire to. Brilliant.
Thank you. Thank you. Absolutely amazing. Anyone who knows Dark Side of the Moon knows every note in his head. You have not missed a single one of the whole band combined. Encore!!! You actually make me appreciate the album that much more. Those are amazing musicians and you do them proud. I've shared your link to various platforms
Thank you very much, Trevor. I'm glad you noticed -- I really did try to replicate every sound I could possibly replicate with two hands on a piano. Your comment made my day, and I appreciate your sharing the link!
Love it! Stumbled upon it when I was giving my new born daughter her first lesson on Pink Floyd. I am a Big fan of Echoes live in Pompeii concert so if you have some more spare time :p
I'll second that having played this album on keyboards (or tried) for 45 years. Thank you. Amazing and melodic encapsulation of the feeling for the music.
This incredible performance after currently 11 months only has 37K views. Help out people; this needs to change. This should have views in the millions.
Rearranging this album for solo piano really reveals just how much the blues and jazz were at the core of Pink Floyd's music. They may be classified as progressive rock, but at heart their music pulls from deep musical roots. It's no wonder their songs strike the emotional core so hard - that's the essence of the blues.
Great comment, Mark. I agree with you and I even see classical influence on some of their music too, such as Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 9. Thanks for supporting my channel!
How could I be so late for this? Now we just need a quadraphonic mix of this. Every part Richard Wright has the light shining on him in the 5.1 copy of this album I’m always astonished.
Just discovered this, and it absolutely blew me away. I have always wanted to hear full piano covers of Pink Floyd albums, and this is the first one I've ever seen. Your arrangements were fantastic, and I love how the keyboard shook with the octaves in "Time". I intend to listen to this over and over again while I study; thank you for this beautiful gift.
I don't understand why this has only 46500+ views. This is superb. I'm not sure if RUclips records unique views. I've watched/listened to this at least 30 times and I never tire of how good it is.
I listen to this album every day at work! And I feel the same way listening to you play it on your piano man!! I just got a keyboard and I just ordered a dark side of the moon music book. It is my dream to play the songs from my favorite album of all time
Merci, merci, merci ! Vous nous faites du bien, quel bonheur, je redécouvre ces morceaux les larmes au yeux, fan des Floyds depuis toujours ! N'arrêtez surtout pas !! Encore merci from Nice in France !
All that you touch And all that you see All that you taste All you feel And all that you love And all that you hate All you distrust All you save And all that you give And all that you deal And all that you buy Beg, borrow or steal And all you create And all you destroy And all that you do And all that you say And all that you eat And everyone you meet (everyone you meet) And all that you slight And everyone you fight And all that is now And all that is gone And all that's to come And everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon Edit: Thanks for the heart! This is absolutely stunning performance, Ranjit!!! What a class act!! Such a complex album and you reproduced it so flawlessly!! I just stumbled onto your channel quite by chance today and hit subscribe in the first couple of minutes after this video stated. In fact, I stopped multi-tasking and stayed glued to it until the very end! I read your description and literally stood up to applaud your monumental effort in completing this album!! Your sincere dedication and unimaginable persistence are truly inspiring, my friend! God bless you.
You're welcome, Ranjit! I play keyboard, Harmonica and Melodion and do put in quite a bit of effort in doing each of my covers. Vast majority of them are Bollywood song covers though but every now and then I do a classic rock song. But my effort pales in comparison with what you did for this album! You're welcome to check out my channel when you get a moment.
AMAZING ♪♫♪ Best i had ever heard. I love Pink Floyd since 1973. I hear the Love you give while playing, with so much passion. Thank you so much for sharing, never get tired to listen ♥♪♫♪♥ PS: Looking forward of the Album *Wish you were here* :)♥
It is truly my favourite music cover of all time, this and all of your other works! You seem to get everything right to the point of perfection, every detail of Floyd's composition into a single instrument; it truly is breathtaking! Thank you.
This is a magnificent rendition of, perhaps, the greatest and single most acclaimed piece that the rock and roll has ever gave, and the blues as a whole. I greatly appreciated Us and them, above the rest, because it was conceived as a piano piece in its inception by Wright. Nicely played, congrats.
I am so glad that I clicked on this. Time was impressive, but you managed to turn The Great Gig In The Sky into a piano piece as well... Any Colour You Like was one of my favourite parts, it is incredible how you managed to transpose it down to the note. I look forward to hearing Wish You Were Here!!
Thank you very much! Yes, Any Colour You Like was definitely the toughest song on the album to figure out for the piano. I'm already working on Wish You Were Here and enjoying it. Thanks for your support!
You have an incredibly fine musical "ear" for finding the melodies, rhythms, and chords, and a tlaent for having pieced those elements into a beautiful translation of this historic album. Thank yo for all of your effort! I thoroughly enjoyed your work! (From one piano musician to another).
Hi Ranji, I went to search for symphony seven by carlos kleiber on you tube and saw your piece on the side! Captivated and felt like i was 16 again! Awesome! Look forward to more pinkfloyd from you! God Bless!
thanks Ranjit for your efforts...as a musician i appreciate when you say you don't regret a moment spent working on this...i believe all your time was well spent

Anyone else who, like me, are doing the bass, drums and vocals with their voices singing along?
love the transition from Us and Them to Any Colour you Like, it's the best part of the album
I agree, that is one of my favorite moments on the album.
Astounding. Astonishing. Jaw-dropping. There simply aren't the words to express this. We'd need a poet to write a reasonably worthy comment.
I know this is a pretty old video to be commenting on but this is absolutely insane mate. Truly something for piano beginners such as myself to aspire to. Brilliant.
Thank you AgedCassette! I'm glad you found it inspiring. I wish you the best with your piano studies!
Thanks!
Ah! Finding this made my night. Thank you, Ranjit Souri!

Totally agree! I know this album well. Didn't miss a thing
The greatest music translates across genres and to any instrument with ease. This is another fantastic example of this in action.
Thanks very much!

I'm in awe. I'm sure Rick would be proud of this rendition.
Great Gig in the Sky - Beautiful
Monumental effort. Beautiful write-up. Cheers from a ‘kindred spirit’:)

All that you touch
And all that you see
All that you taste
All you feel
And all that you love
And all that you hate
All you distrust
All you save
And all that you give
And all that you deal
And all that you buy
Beg, borrow or steal
And all you create
And all you destroy
And all that you do
And all that you say
And all that you eat
And everyone you meet (everyone you meet)
And all that you slight
And everyone you fight
And all that is now
And all that is gone
And all that's to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon
Edit: Thanks for the heart! I posted lyrics because I wanted to sing along 😆😂
