Good to hear Bernard is ok and recovering from coronovirus. Coming from Manchester New Order has always been in my life from day one. All the best Bernard and take care. 🙏🏾👍🏾😄💫 Your welcome.
I love that Bernard took the bull by the horns and became a bedroom musician to record his most positive track.. My musical hero. A true genius and purist. Punk taught the masses 'a can do' attitude. Something Barney has alluded to many times. The rhythm guitar in the second verse is sublime and New Order have always done this so well.
I don't think they could care about industry accolades. They are the results of experiences and moments in time. I think what keeps them moving forward in all of this time is the audience that they have cultivated and nutured so well.
I had the chance to see New Order when they toured with PIL and the Sugar Cubes. It was my favorite concert, and I'm old, I've seen a lot of them! I'm so glad he's still making new music.
I am also recovering from the coronavirus now. I listen to your music🎶 all day during the treatment and quarantine and I feel that your beautiful music is saving me.☀️ thank you dear Bernard and please take care of yourself🙏
Bernard Sumner is the epitome of style he's an icon whether he is wearing shorts, a t- shirt or a tie or a v-neck sweater and glasses. Everything he does is just cool. He just is so cool. ❤️
This is the way you conduct an interview. I love how she just listens. Take note Howard Stern, you might learn a few things, that is if you care to open your mind.
Great interview Jill! (how did you manage to snag this interview! nice!)....so glad Bernard recovered from COVID, gosh. This interview is more about life and a positive message from Barney! love it! Most of the interviews they do, the interviewer always talks about their past and I get tired of that, this interview is refreshing and uplifting!
Great voice Jill. Bernard is a class act. Love the new release. Tapping into new and old sounds (some feel of Electronic Getting Away With It circa 1991). More please.
I'll never have the musical genius Bernard has, but my god, if he IS mixing or mastering in the cavernous cathedral of reverb that room has.. then he's even better than I thought!
Bernard did superb, from Mancfester at that time, so influential to other bands and certainly an influence to Thatcher's generation like myself. Great advice 👍
Great interview! I am an old fan from day one, you listen so well to Bernard and question are sweet. All the best to you. Thank you. And be safe, the both of you.
Mr. Sumner you are one of my most heartfelt Heroes. Your voice is suburb, your ability with the Guitar is UnExpected but PERFECT> I HOPE TO MEET YOU IN VALHALLA!
I'm in near constant rage over Trump's abject failure to control the corona virus here in the states, I'm enraged that a lifelong idol of mine has been hurt by it in his own country. Wish Bernard a full and speedy recovery !

they accept he's part of the story, thats why he was included on the transmission podcast. Hook dislikes NO, and NO dislikes Hook. Frankly, its better that theyre apart. NO can keep making good music without Hook fighting and holding them back, and Hook can keep touring Joy Division and keeping Ian's memory alive.
Interesting that over 99% of those who got c 19 had no symptoms. Data that is. Talk to individuals and they've all caught it and it was rough lol. Propaganda
Can any interview avoid delving into the early years of New Order or Joy Division? It's like they have nothing else to ask. Move on, time to think of some new questions.
He says the tour is "postponed" so they can keep the money, because if he says "cancelled" they have to give it back. I am $700 in the toilet from Ticketmaster since I bought a bunch of tickets for me and my friends. What a mistake! A lifelong NO fan, I am pretty bitter. Just give the money back if you are not touring!
Via Ticketmaster I was contacted as a ticket holder & told that they will refund the ticket price, or Incan hang on to them, which I have done. Have you doublechecked? It still stands, in Canada.
You dick.
