Hello Loqui! Haven't finished the video yet, but so far, I got three things for you. 1) @00:14:00 You're asking yourself if it's a Range or a Zone attack. To help you out, you can always check at the bottom of the AI card and see that, in this case, it was indeed a Zone Attack. 2) @00:19:45 Sadly, you choose to target the Furthest titan not in front, NOT in range. While the Signature card ask you to target the Furthest titan not in front, IN range. So, your titan to the north-west of the map would have been targeted. 3) @00:53:45 Happily for you from now on, you got this one wrong. A chain break immediately end the original attack and by so, invalidate all of its lingering Attack effects, AS WELL as After Attack effects (First paragraph of Chain Break section P.43 of Rulebook). The Labyrinth 1 wouldn't happen, even if it does not target you specifically. So, basically, if a chain break happens, you stop reading everything on an AI card that comes after the effect/sentence that cause you to do a Trauma Draw (if this is what caused a chain break in the first place).
Hello! 1. That's an example of having blinders on and not seeing everything on the screen! 2. I'm sure I have made that mistake several times :). 3. The reason I did it this way is I'm sure that someone else told me and that there was a discussion early on the Discord that Labyrinth doesn't target the specific Titan, only first prefers placement under the target Titan, so it would not be stopped by a Chain Break, as it does not target that Titan. I asked again on the Discord after getting this comment and they agree with what you said. I guess the way to think about it is that it has to be a simultaneous or zone attack for additional things to still happen against other Titans. Thanks!
Addition 4 and 5 : 4) @01:15:00 Per Cycle 1 Labyrinth X specification, if you can place the Laby tile in such a way that it would end up underneath more then 1 Titan, place the tile so it goes under the most Titans. The L tile here should have been placed in such a way to be under the 2 titans in front of Temenos. 5) What an amazing ending 😊
4. Yeah, I just forgot that. So much going on. It's funny too because that played such a role in the placement of a tile the last time I fought him :). 5. Thanks. Even with the mistakes, it still was great. Came down to the wire!
I have a love/hate relationship with this game. I find it hard to table physically, but also mentally as psyching myself up for the complexity/fiddlyness. I took a few weeks of then on return completely forgot the characters attack dice from its character card and made the adversary fight almost impossible. So much to track and remember.
I know what you mean. I’ll tell two things that I have done. I got a third party organizer that not only helps with the stuff in the box, but it has made it faster to table and put away. And setup time and tear down time factor more and more into my game playing decisions lately. Also, I have resigned myself to do the best I can with remembering stuff and rules and just try to enjoy the ride. I hope you do enjoy the time you get to have with game. Thanks for watching!
@@loquiturgaming I can just about manage without spending more on an organiser than I would on 1 or 2 new games (always a dilemma). I do like the game and will play all three chapters at least once, probably more. I just shy away from non-streamlined games, that's the reason I've never bitten on Middarra, just too many moving parts, but love frosthaven, roll player adventures, oathsworn, Isofarian Guards, as they took some time to thin don't the bloat. I made an effort to table it as I was swithering over the last Kickstarter, I am still wondering about 4/5 but have decided against heracles for now.
@@cyder534 that's cool and each of us has different tastes and experiences. Having run a full people of the sun campaign in KDM including slenderman and spidiculous, then playing through act 1 of ATO I found KDM more fun to play, the monsters have more character and there isn't too much to keep track of (never thought I'd say that about KDM but omg ATO has a million and one rules and so many components). Enjoyed them both but the overhead of ATO is putting me off, and to a degree so has the "throw everything in there" nature of the latest crowdfunded along with the way they initiated the destruction of a content creator with little or no regret. I have my beef with KDM too, the price to get a copy in the UK is just ridiculous.

This is why ATO has stolen the crown from KDM.
