I never found Mazey in my playthrough, that's actually great card! Another reason for me (after getting voice over in app, last tome binder and extra cycle 1 cards) to start anew from scratch. BTW titans attachments are normal part of loadout, so you select before battle with rest of gear.

I like how trauma cards often actually give something positive. It's something I miss in KDM, when e.g. rolling lantern 10 on severe injury table.

This game… I like the ideas and the concepts and the IP, the art is lovely, the writing is mostly fine… But the game mechanics! I am not a fan. It wants to be a game of choices and of chance, but the choices aren’t meaningful, and the chance-mechanics cut the story into itty bitty pieces. The story gets in the way of the game, and the game gets in the way of the story. And, checking, I find that the designers believe nothing needs to change. Ouch. Still impressed with you for playing it alone while streaming. Good luck!

Excited to see you get back to this game, I was hoping this was coming when you were doing the painting streams this past month. The reprint for this came up when I had too much Kingdom Death and Frosthaven in front of me for another campaign game this year to make sense, but I did go in for Twelve Sins of Herakles and look forward to that whenever it comes in. Since I am probably skipping the original AT:O cycles I would be even more excited to watch along for your play through them.

51:03 You don't get ambushed except on water nodes (with Strofa city rank < 3, doesn't carry over campaigns) if you chose to fight after drawing compass chip.

The permanent card where you hunted at and got 3 food, has the green to gold symbol so it would not go to the past, rather it gets banished. See the back of the rulebook.

can you control an objective if you or the bot are controlling one

Here is a rule i want clarification it says in the 2.0 rulebook in page 7 of it in (IX) create your 25 card combat and diplomacy pool, take the 15 advanced combat and diplomacy cards but in the cards nowhere it clarifies which are the basic combat and who the advanced any clue how to distinct it?

One thing I know I forgot was to add a Mysterious Power to this scenario.

Hello. At 43:59 you get 4 chips, but you only have 3 AP and 3 black chips, you can't be sure to get the purple one (although it is likely), you have to do the draw.

Eko also starts with the Quantum Blade upgrade (see page 4 of the rulebook)

You was wrong with sludge movement when range atack. Rules say some like: if he doesn't have reach for his atack, he still move (if can) to closest hero-targeting. Basicaly when there is movement he will alway move closer to hero no mater if he can hit range atck. Or not. ;)

I played memoir 44 for the first time today, and I noticed that this sword beach mission has a quirk in it. The allied player could potentially move the tanks on the left flank and take a shot at unshielded infantry at the first turn. Isn't that a little bit of a no brainer move. You should do it every time.

At 1:45, I don't think you should have just drawn all chips. With two black chips you could have drawn them first leaving the green/purple ones in the bag. Just drawing all assumes that you'd draw the second black last.

Thanks for the fun play through, I want to go play now, lol. At 12:18, I don’t think terrain modifiers stack, just the best of the two types of terrain, if different. So sandbags would not add an additional due modifier to the infantry dice to the hill modifier to the infantry dice.

I have enjoyed this game a great deal! Excellent walkthrough! Since we couldn’t see the minis too closely, it is hard to tell. However, I believe you put fate or danger on the incorrect character every now and then. I don’t believe it impacted the game, but I’ve caught myself sometimes struggling to keep the danger and fate and rage straight playing solo. My biggest gripe is how they separated the characters from the titans. It creates a ton of confusion later on if playing solo.

I think AI does not control tiles that have no objectives. It should of gone to the tile with objective instead @24:55
