Thanks. This type of video is always interesting to make because it can be a little slow just going through a quick start guide, but it does shows what the experience is like for someone new.
Wife and I finally got it to the table today and played the quick start guide session. Really enjoyed it and can’t wait to jump in again later this week! I’ll say, It’s a lot to wrap your head around at first but once you get going it really isn’t too bad. It reminds me of Xia in that there is a lot of stuff to do but it’s not overly complicated to figure it all out.
Great video man, sick of seeing Warrior (Valor) playthroughs, the Shadow path looks like it could be a tonne of fun to play kiteing the mobs and such, keep up the good work !!
Did you or anyone else with the game run into problems with the 3 deck boxes (events, foes, etc) having their lids not fit flush when the dividers are inserted?
I did, but I looked at some comments that I think were on BGG and they said that the divider tabs are designed to be folded just like the ones in the map tile boxes and when you fold down the tabs, the lid should close flush.
Honestly I haven't looked into the soundtrack because I knew I couldn't play it during the recording. It is one unfortunate thing with RUclips that when it hears music, it makes you jumps through hoops regarding copyright or you get a hit against your channel.
I am expecting a vigorous discussion about how to pronounce Thades. Cody still hasn’t settled the Xia pronunciation debate, so probably no definitive answer in sight.
@1:30:25 you say you cross crit-point. But you dont you go above it. The hit hits from left to right, and not left down, if it was left down u would hit. Now you pass above the crit point and should not get the 3rd damage, dosn't matter, this fight is almost impossible to lose but if you get extra dmg just to be close you will auto win all batles
Hi. The crit point is on the right side of the card on the same line and right next to the first hit point that was damaged, so the attack coming in from the right starts on the edge of the card and passes through it. There is another crit point that is below that line half-way to the next line and that one would damage a different hit point but that’s not the one that lighting bolt went through. It might be hard to see on the card with the camera zoomed out.
I feel once you get out of the tutorial and learn the system, play will be much smoother. Still haven't gotten mine to the table yet so I hope this is true lol.

Thanks for this! I just got my box and it's a lot! Still trying to get the energy to make the first steps so this is a greatnhelp!
I'm glad it is helpful! I know I'm always overwhelmed with the start of these games.
This game is the best rulebook I have ever seen. They tell you what all the items are next to the description. Great game so far
Oh I cannot WAIT to watch this!! Thanks Zach!!!

The threat limit would have given the foe an immediate turn plus added 1 damge to each hit from then on.
Yes, if they hit a limit break they do get an immediate turn. Sorry if I missed that.
Is there a app for the sound track?

Yeah, and I'm not great and pronouncing things in general, so I'm probably not helping any :).

How far are you on the game? I am stuck looking for the boatsman's brother.
Not very far. I haven’t started looking for the brother yet.
1h hour in and I could not be more bored. phhh, I hope this will be much more interesting when you play it by your own.
