GuMiho really just ran into Maru's main with 20 scvs and started building turrets 💀

So we all.
And we were not disappointed! Gumiho probably builds it simply to watch Winter cast it.
I might play zerg, but nothing beats a good fuusiooon!!

That first game, Gumiho pulled like 30 workers and as the huge fight started, he used them to field repair in the thick of it. At the beginning, both players were nearly equal 120ish army supply, at the end, 80 to 55 in favour of Gumiho.
Everyone will praise and credit the fleet, but this was truly the victory of the people.
Maru: Giving SCVs to enemy for free, thinking it was cool idea that could demoralizes enemy
GuMiHo: Strategically repurpose SCVs in the front line for maximum efficiency.
GuMiho games just hit differently and rarely leave me disappointed. This set is no exception.
5:08 I love that Winter doesn't even comment on the fact that Gumiho dropped a mule to repair his scouting Barracks, which personally, I find very funny
Gumiho is on an absolute tear recently! His games are always incredible and he has gone up a level or two! Fantastic videos
I'm so tired of explaining this to people: The reason scv's can repair air but not attack air is because when they are repairing, the friendly units drop down little ropes for them to climb up. So all enemy units have to do is just not drop down the little ropes. You can see them on highest res from an exact angle.
Don't they just have jetpacks? I think BCs even have scvs onboard according to lore

Would probably be a melee attack if they jet packed up there but I think canon with lore would be they would preload the scvs for aircraft repair.
Also I seen a mention that they might also hover super low for the scvs for like medivacs or stuff that doesn't have the room for onboard repair scvs

But do Warpprisms, Phoenixes, Voidys, Mommaships, Carriers, Tempests and COLLOSSI do drop ropes aswell? Are they already super terran repairing efficiently upgraded??

Missed opportunity, cure breaks down your door but gumiho picks your locks
Cure is a sledgehammer user, byun is an angle grinder abuser, gumiho is a certified lock picker.
Just to nerd here a bit:
0/0 bc: 5dmg(air), 3 armor
3/3 bc: 8dmg, 6 armor
Upg BC deals 5dmg/shot to base BC while taking only 1 in return.
It takes a 110 shots for the upg. BC to bring down a basic one, meaning that if its up against 5 basic, no micro, they get an even trade as both sides have the same dmg output. Against 3 base BCs it takes down 2 of them, and it can beat 2, while taking 330 dmg.
5:15 that MULE repair is such a micronerd move :D

It was an awesome series. [spoilers by the way] On the GSL stream GuMiho was using a terran skin, casters started calling him the 4th race. Okay not the most direct spoiler but watch Winter's video before ever reading the comments. Maybe. Sometimes. Do as I say not as I do.
Nobody can play Mech like Gumiho it's his Domain. Damn Maru got schooled😂

edit: i think when cure tells people terrans are better because they put in more effort, me might be thinking not of himself, but of gumiho; he seemed veeeery prepared for this series...
i loved this cast and the spoiler prevention at the end made it ten times better
That was brilliant. Anti-Armor missile + a few volleys by liberators to soften the group up. Viking vs viking should always have a lib or two for anti air.

ive become a big gumi fan as of late. he has gotten a lot better and hopefully it doesnt peak just yet.
His creativity is really off the charts. Combating extreme speed with sheer tactical ingenuity.

the stroing point during the air fight with the anti armor missle lies withing the combination not of the vikings (theyre just a shield) but with the liberators, who deal a lot of low dmg aoe hits. thats what stacks like crazy in this case.

Guhimo is the Tactical Commander that a Terran army needs. A lot of his games lately have been out of the meta box thinking. I am sure the marine core is very happy with him, not turning marines into warzone decorations, like most Terran commanders. Anyway what does GumiHo stand for? Does it mean he likes candy a lot?
Gumiho means nine-tailed fox in Korean :) Fitting because gumihos are supposed to be very cunning and Gumiho has awesome strats

Glad to see BCs getting used more often lately. They have been underused for a long time. I really don't think Vikings are that good at taking out BCs though....Viking attacks are split into 2 attacks, and each attack is influenced by 6 armor from BCs. Vikings just seem good because normally, there are a ton of Vikings vs a handful of BCs.

GuMiho WRECKED Maru there. Absolutely ruined. Maru just gets thrown off to easily. Maru is the best technical player, one of the absolute fastest... But if someone can tilt him a smidge, he falls out of his chair (usually quite dramatically), and ends up looking silly. Its why Maru loses high profile games, its why series like this happen. The kid needs to work on his self confidence instead of micoing marines.
