I very much agree with you and I add that when playing forehand the hand is behind the racket and pushes it, while playing backhand the hand is in front of the racket and pulls it, which is why racket holder is needed
Great video, my man. Question: Did you guys already do a video on the backhand ground stroke? I came from badminton and often struggle not to “loose” the firmness of the wrist and my form ends up being… Well, shit.
Thanks coach for the advice but I tend to hit the ball as my arm is not extended , I know it is might be hard to say without seeing my technique however could it be that I might be keeping the racket too close to my body so that when I prepare my core and hit the ball I will always hit close ? it is almost like my elbow is in front when hitting however in your case when contact the racket is front and you extend and follow through. But I don’t know how to fix this 😅
@@iRaingers a good tip is to think on backhand the shoulder is leading, not the elbow. Also keeping your elbows close to your body and preparing with both hands helps.
