I'm currently using a DAW to access all of my VSTs live. However, it sometimes glitches in the middle of patch, perhaps from Buffer Size or RAM usage. I have contemplated the Live Performance apps for a bit now but want to make sure I can do these things: 1) Separate VSTs by tunes in my set 2) Access the VSTs via MIDI CC input (essentially arm/unarm each sound through a touch pad) 3) Have a master volume hooked up to MIDI CC 4) Not feel stressed about RAM usage glitching my sounds in a live performance I should also note that I'm not using backing tracks or doing any sort of recording/playback. I'm just using the DAW as a means to access my VSTs so I can produce my sounds in real-time as if I had all of the hardware synths with me.
@@LiveKeyboardist I looked at Gig Performer and Cantabile but haven't decided which one yet. I use Windows. On my current laptop, I don't have much RAM to work with, 8 GB. Any recommendations?

This was a great set of prompts.

You can DEFINITELY do all of these things.

I’m partial to Gig Performer. But download some trials and see what suites you best.
Great List Brett, I am a big fan of IK Multimedia and Arturia Software, they both are work horses. very versatile!!!!
