Certina 38mm sea conservancy edition in blue/gold - absolutely. God bless this channel for giving certina some well deserved attention. Absolute gem level editing and shots as per usual. 10/10 turtles.
For me the best $1000 divers are: Certina PH200M blue bezel - looks great Doxa Sub 200 Caribbean - good looks and quality Mido Ocean Star 200C titanium - great functionality Mido Ocean Star Tribute gradient blue - awesome looks.
Great video! These watches all look amazing. That Doxa color really jumps out! I just picked up the 39mm Glycine and am very impressed with it. Wears like a skindiver watch, but with 300 meters water resistance. Terrific piece.
Haha, agree! The mirror polish surface invites evey object to connect :))) The lume as well, not very potent. I am curious if the newer version, the green one has the lume improved.
@@BraveBeaters Hey, checkout the new variants that just came out for the asian market dubbed 'Wimol Tapae'. Two new color schemes,i find them pretty nicely done. A red into black transitioning dial and a gray to black.
@@BraveBeaters and definitely check out that new Glycine combat sub in 38. I got the black/gilt version for a more versatile version of the same vibe the certina gives. It’s a great bb58 alternative 👍🏽

Bought the certina DS 38 in titanium today , it’s a gorgeous watch and for its small case size it fits very well , had the doxa sub 200 in blue couple of years , another beauty and as you said it fits so much smaller than a 42mm . Love your reviews
@@REDnBLACKnRED lol ohh , the doxa fits perfectly!! Short lug to lugs , it fits much smaller than a 42 mm , more like a 40 mm , would fit a smaller wrist perfectly
Love the Doxa 200 the colours are striking and Pop out will definitely add the Orange or blue to my Rolex Submariner and my Omega Seamaster 300 42m blue collection Doxa is a must have in any watch Collection ⌚️
Great recommendation... enjoyed it. I think another historic affordable re-edition piece is from SQUALE line of Y1521, Y1545 and their homage Sub39 lineup.
For me it's Seiko below £1000. Willard is a firm favourite, with a mm200 JDM being added last week. Excellent value. Good video, a few there for me to consider. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
It’s 365 days of summer in my country… LoL Therefore I love divers: I always switch between my Certina Precidrive DS Action Diver Titanium (fantastic weight, comfortable and suitable for long wearing sessions ), Mido Ocean Star Tribute (go-to dressy dive watch) as well as the Mido Ocean Star 200 (go-to daily) . Can’t go wrong with any of these magnificent divers .
@@anotherherodied Sorry, what do you mean here? I love the BOR bracelet on my 300T. Is the BOR bracelet on the 200 not as good? Or is the clasp a concern? Thanks.
@@matthewmccord99 yes! I cannot comment on the BoR bracelet of a 300t, but the 200 I handled felt very cheap. Especially the clasp, but also the way it joined to the case. I don’t suggest Sinn for this specific video (yes they are over $1k). I believe I have gone through ALL of the BRAVE BEATER channel’s catalog. No Sinn in any video.
Sinn is great! I was close to review an old chronograph. But it was in a pretty bad shape... I am looking to get a diver from the brand. In fact I can contact them, maybe they can send some pieces for review :)
I think the glycine combat sub is the best value Swiss made divers watch at the moment. Some other good dive watches not mentioned: CW trident, Hamilton khaki navy scuba, marathon SAR, zodiac super sea wolf, nivada antarctic diver. Also don’t sleep on gevril
Absolutely love the Ocean Star Tribute from Mido. And the feel of its bracelet on my wrist. But I can't stand aluminium bezel inserts. That's why I decided to get a Trident C60 pro 600 by Christopher Ward. A truly amazing watch. (The only thing I'd change - the bracelet. No, Christopher's bracelet is really well made but the Mido's bracelet is one love)
I have a Seiko SNE 589 (resembles a Rolex or Tudor milsub) but I am looking to getting my first Swiss diver right around the 1,000 to 1500.00 price range I'm debating between the Doxa Sub 300t Sharkhunter or the Certina DS 500M UFO, HELP!!!!

Is it as skinny as the 42mm, at 10.5mm?
