Thank you! 🥰
so happy for you!!!!!!
Edit: I am SO happy for you!!! You and your family deserve the best! ❤️
😳 can’t wait to watch this!
Thank you so much!! We can't wait either.
I’m so excited for you. I’m grateful for you and your valuable content but I also find you very interesting and enjoyable to listen to so I would absolutely love a more personal aspect to your channel. I just recently moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Tampa, Florida a year ago tomorrow! It hasn’t been perfect or even easy but I don’t regret it, I think it’s been rewarding. I look forward to it and hope you have an amazing move and that everything goes well!
Thank you for this comment! I’m really hoping for the best 🥰 I’ll do my best to keep everyone updates and make videos along the way!
Good luck with the move! I'm finishing up my ABSN next month and loving every minute of preceptorship on L&D. I've found your videos really helpful. I also have a toddler in an apartment. It can be tough but CA weather and being a few blocks from the ocean should help. 😊
Thats what I'm hoping! That we'll just try to get out of the house as much as possible. I'm so glad you're finding the videos helpful!
I’m so relieved to learn why you quit! I’m an aspiring nurse, soon to apply into a program for next fall! There are so many discouraging videos out there right now but yours are some of the ones that have really convinced me that L&D nursing is what I want to do! So excited for your next chapter and can’t wait to watch more of your videos 😊
I’m so glad! I love my job and I really think it’s the best field of nursing. I hope you feel the same!
Have you seen her new video😜
Welcome to CA!!! 🥳🤩 may you find your peace and home here!
Thank you! We’re so excited!
You are so brave! I live in cali and am so excited for this new chapter of your life!
It’s been so amazing 🥰 Thanks for the support
Congratulations for your new journey here at California watching your video’s thankyou for inspiring us! Godbless

I can’t wait to make them! 🥰 Thanks for the support
Congratulations on the move!! 🥳🎉🥳
We’re so excited! Thank you! 🥰
You will get lots of experience at the new hospital and some R&R by the ocean. I’m happy for you and excited for the videos to come. I would like to see some days in the life in Cali.
Yes I’m hoping it’ll be a great experience! Thank you so much for the support 🥰
Woah😳, I would have never imagined seeing that title lol, can’t wait for the video !!
Don’t get too too excited, it’s all positive! I could never leave my laboring mamas 🤫🥰
Yay! Welcome to Cali!
Really happy for you!
Thank you! We’re so excited 🥰
I stumbled upon your channel about a month ago. I don't work in health care at all, but I like to watch & I enjoy your stories because I think nurses are the absolute best! To be honest, nurses are my thing, & I just had to say that I think you're incredible.
This means so much! Thank you!!
@@AmyBales No...Thank-you! That's really cool you responded to my little comment.
My girlfriend & I had a baby girl on June 19th 2021 at 4:40am. We named her Katie. No complications, no epidural, she pushed for half-an-hour (45 mins tops). I was super proud of her!
Our L&D nurse (Mary Jane) was awesome! She had to (figuratively speaking) kick my girlfriend in the ass twice in order to stop her from whining. I did my best to encourage her while she pushed.
I was worried that during the delivery, I'd either pass out or start sobbing uncontrollably...neither happened.
I had a list of movies and TV shows in my head with nightmare birth scenes...
-Village of the Damned.
-Seventh Sign.
-Any Episode of ER, Chicago Hope or Grey's Anatomy with a pregnant character.
I was very relieved that our labor experience was nothing like that.
In your 'Day in the Life Of' video, you mentioned that when you're there for the golden hour, your job was to administer fluids, call the Dr. with problems you couldn't solve on your own, and put oxygen on the mom. I think that was my biggest fear during the pushing process.
I told that story to my friend who is not a nurse and she said, "That's common".
I said, "There is no reason why people can't breathe on their own. In my world, they only give you oxygen when you're about to (y'know) die!"
Thanks for listening!
Congratulations and welcome to California!!!! 🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I have lived in California my whole life and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. You will love it here and I wish you and your family all the best as you move and settle. ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve heard so many people say that, so we’re really excited! 🥰
Has anyone told you that you have a very calming voice ! I can listen to you talk all day haha !
That means so much! Thank you for watching ☺️
I just quit my first nursing job after 4 months which was in postpartum for a hospital closer to me in labour and delivery
I really hope you enjoy California. I am a California girl!!(: we welcome you. Depending on where you are living. California tends to be a very fast paced on your day to day culture. And yes. We hardly have any seasons but our sunshine is the best.
It’s a very expensive state to live in but we hope you enjoy it 💕👍
Thank you! We can’t wait.
This is so exciting I am so happy for you I also hope one day I can move across the country to California and work as a RN there😊
I’m so excited too! I’m hoping to learn so much 🥰
Already know I’m going to like this video
It’s not too spicy, this is more of a life update post. I don’t want people to get too excited thinking I’m spilling the tea! Just talking about new opportunities and some big changes in my life 😄
Congratulations!! 🎉 I’d love to live in California too ☀️
Thank you! We’re so excited!🥰
How exciting 😄❤️
Thank you! We’re definitely super excited 🥰
Yay! Welcome to California!
Thank you! ☺️🤍
Welcome home here in California high but high cost of living. I hope the family enjoys 😉 plus the beach is the reason I can't leave lol.
What nursing school did you go to? I’m a college student in indiana
IUPUI ☺️
Welcome to California! 🤗
Thank you! So excited to be there!
What city in California?
We’ll be in Los Angeles county, but more costal and south than the city of LA. 🥰
Do moving vlogs
Yes I want to!
I see so many nurses moving to CA. Is there a reason? Do u know if the pay is good? I'm curious
The pay is phenomenal but the cost of living is high. It’s also union at many hospitals so you have a lot more rights as a nurse, mandated safe ratios and breaks. And the weather is perfect ☺️
@@AmyBales I respect you so much. It's honestly a breath of fresh air hearing you say that and I like your perspective on it because I'm seeing more and more lately people move there and turn into into posting all day every day about living there and nothing else. No more about nursing but just strictly that and just gets tireing to see. I love how you are truly humble and are doing it for other reasons and for that I'm so happy to see your vlogs.
Why do i feel like you’re moving to Long Beach 😭 hehehe
😇😜
