love this era, the jerseys were a bit baggier and just looked cooler like being in the NBA was special now they just look cheap an shitty...love that new jersey retro it crazy nice!
Same, I still have my Kidd and Carter Jerseys...compared to the Harris and Lopez ones I got got just a few years later they're so much higher quality. They actually patched the name, the number and the team/city/state on. I think now they're just screen printed or something.
See alot of players think Iverson don't have a left hand and they try pressure him accordingly and they find out the hard way. In Iverson's early years he ALWAYS went left more than right. And in his prime years he went more right than left. He has handles evenly on both hands.

Damn AI was unbelievable with the Rock, he should have done a Lebro-Dura move before the End of his career and got a Ring with a contender... if anybody deserved a Ring AI did.
A I is from the fantastic era of the NBA where stat players didnt desire to team up with other star players just to win a fuckin championship... You either good or you great you either real or you fake... A I was the realest and one of the greatest ever without the trophy, all Dat Lebro Duro a never get real props them titles is fake ... And for the record I dont watch lebro or duro highlights at all but they are good
A scary mixture of talent and athleticism AI was maybe 5'11 with 43 inch vertical leap and wingspan of a 6'4 guy. For a guy that small he didn't get his shots blocked only rarely! WOW
His quickness, speed and firs step are absolutely insane. He always had the defensive players on extreme reaction mode cause in 1 second he could just teleport with a first step and with that it helped him creating so much separation with the jab. Amazing game maaan p4p goat for sure, his off ball movement was absolutely insane and besides that man had the whole bag of finishing. His runners/floaters, his creativity around the rim, his athleticism AI was something else. Just wish he had the help that most of these great players had.
Great great video I love this, this is my epoca nba, I love those days of glory, best of all is Allen Iverson. Lol when people compares Curry with AI, please respect to the legends. This is other level. Thanks friend Penny.
although i am AI fan.i cant say i have no respect for carry.come on man he is not common player.maybe you like more the style of iverson but you have to admit carry.always friendly..
they blackballed a.i. because he was a street dude smfh. one of the best point guards ever and revolutionized the crossover as well as stylish trends with the braids. nobody could guard this man philly stand up the answer will always be the number one baller out of philly
black balled AI wtf? dude played what 15 seasons, won a league mvp, just got inducted to the HOF.....1st ballot and you saying he was black balled......smh.....wish the league would black ball me
@@andrewpratt9387 yes blackballed, the MVP was before the blackballing, and the hall of fame was a must else they would have faced outrage probably from most of the public and even nba players; the referees openly admitted they were targeting him not calling fouls that happened to him and several calls against him that made no sense, yes that was blackballing
Man was drafted 1st overall being 6 feet tall and having spent time in jail, and basketball was only his 2nd best sport. Iverson's athletic ability was beyond belief.
@@Aaron.McNair I’m sayin Vaughn seeing Iverson trip thinks shits sweet and starts reaching like crazy Iverson had put his ass in place literally and remind him who tf he was guarding
For all you young bucks that don't really know about Iverson, this video is just a taste of how good he was. He could definitely eat Curry's lunch in the ball handling and especially the footwork departments. Curry has nothing on AI.
Curry is better than AI. AI was a 39-40% FG shooter. But AI is a great player, just too inefficient. Cury has better handles. AI has a better crossover.
@@zpacify curry benefits from a soft league that lets him shoot open shots, he can't shoot as much as AI and have a higher fg%, also his teamates on offense take the load off him offensively, his numbers are better cause he shoots less and is taller, rewind curry back to pre 2010 see how his numbers look
Jacque was done before his toe was stepped on. A.I. had his whole equilibrium thrown off...he had the man about to plop down in his recliner after a long day SMH
There's no way to quantify the talent AI had. At barley 6ft to be that dominate its a gift from god. If he was 6'5" other mike kobe & lebron u could make the case of him being the greatest guard to ever play
You know you're great when you can get cheers from your opponents' home fans.
Iverson's basketball skills were absolutely outrageous.
"Incase you missed it Vaughn had his ankles broken by Allen earlier and THERE HE GOES!!"

More like he broke his toes 0:53 by stepping on them.
lmaooo
his foot should of not been there then.

What about Orlando Magic jerseys?)
Y'all are all right 😂😂
A.I. was a damn animal thug on the court, man! Dude was straight savage! More heart than 99.99999% of any cat that ever played in the league.
He didn't care. MJ? Kobe? Kidd? Iverson went after them. Just awesome to watch.
What the fuck is an animal thug?

Hall of fame, legendary 6foot guard. Thankyou A.i ❤
Imagine 5'11" guy (listed at 6'0") leading the NBA in scoring FOUR times!
6'1"?
AI is my height im 5’10 almost 6’ with shoes on
(Vaughn falls just because Iverson blocks his foot, you can see it in the replay)
By the way, still love Iverson, one of the greatest
He didn’t block his foot he stepped on iversons foot his fault
He handled them properly... My #1 Player!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

That’s his fault?

Shannon sharpe at the end with the cameo
one of the best offenders in early 2000s. ai, tmac, kobe etc.

Antonio G.A. They’re both great. No need to create false dichotomies
AI made Kobe work doubly hard. He’s that good.

Literally A.I. did broke that poor guy's Foot.
Crazy as it sounds, but AI could legit do the same crossovers with a football! Mad Skillz!
Phenomenal athlete
The smartest crossover is step on someone’s foot

Commentator straight savage 😂
Skiiiiiiiiiieeep at 2:27 🤣
2:28 is it Shannon Sharpe?🤣🤣🤣🤣
OMC exactly what I thought! 😂
Every time he is taking a shot his the last to make a move dam he was fast
Ruben Ramirez still the fastest player I've ever seen... rumor is (if u haven't heard) he was clocked at running full court in like 4.3 seconds
Shannon( Shay) Sharpe hi-fiving at the end lol SKIP !!!!
Exactly. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me
My fave 76ers player
Baller!...all those shots were wet accept the first one...A.I's mid range was bananas!
Most beautiful player to watch. Little MJ, but, for me, better cross over shutter. 💪🏀
yeah that ball hugging star ..
Vaughn had clamps. I cant front
Mama, thats a BAAAD man!!
loving it, thank you
So it wasn't a crossover but he stepped on his toes
Kyrie has a better handle, but Iverson covers so much more court.
Iverson vs kyrie would've been a match for the ages.
The Shannon Sharpe at the end

he stepped on his foot oh wow
