Because these kids didn't really grow up on A.I or Shaq. They were probably babies when Shaq and A.I retired. If it was Bron, Curry or KD then their reactions would probably be different.

Shaq told him to pick the Jordans, the kid didn't want Jordans. If you look at his arms before it cuts to a completely different angle and he's all of a sudden looking around, Shaq literally says "get the Jordans, get the Jordans", so he could mess with the boy. He was reaching for the Iversons in the bottom left. It's all marketing lol. He got the Iversons he wanted.
Shaq was whispering get the Jordans just to set up a joke...... Behind the scenes the kids prolly got Jordans n stuff tho, this Issa a Reebok promo n that's just what Reebok needs.....

People don’t understand how huge Reebok was back in the day. They had all the NFL gear, Shaq in his prime, AI in his prime game wise and stylistically he changed the way players dressed on court and off. Reebok also gives so many artists deals first- Jay, 50 and G-Unit, Kanye, Soulja Slim and the entire Cash money team, even Travis had a Reebok deal before his Nike deal. Back in the day all the dope boys in the street had them some Reebok classics or workouts on with a sweatsuit and an oversized NFL jersey underneath. People really need to start appreciating the history like they do with other brands because Reebok was at the heart of what most people consider a golden era of style. What a time

Shaq is when I start learn about basketball. While everyone back then going for Jordan, Barkerly, Ewing... When Shaq slammed the rim and shattered glass in TV commercial.. I was wowed by it. A.I. was the one made me believe that I can do something amazing if you have the heart and daring to take on the world. Answer collection is my first and only complete collection I've ever had.
What I really like to see, is the retro X modern technology of these two stars collection.

Back when being a sneakerhead meant more than just reselling, i was rocking Reebok Pump Omni's. The white, black and yellow joints. I love Nike and Adidas for sure but back then for them it was only solid heel Flights and Sambas/Gazelles and that was it. Reebok were at the forefront and im loving that they are retro cool again.
