@Wilson Velasquez Hernandez so we're liking our own comments now, eh? Also, (news flash) people can have their own opinions. Don't try to force your opinion to be theirs. It's a bit annoying 🙄
I want to show this to my class, but, oh, the mispronunciation of Oglethorpe! Clever presentation otherwise. A typo here and there in both part 1 and part 2.
Hi! Fabulous video! I am trying to find a contact email to request permission to use this video for an online class I am teaching for profit. I am not having any luck. Can anyone help?
not 13 colonies its 15. a couple colonies collided. so yea. So funny, my teacher told us when we watched the first one to not laugh at the memes, but I almost laughed lol.
New Jersey was one of the most if not the most important colony and those things from that show are from New York. BOOM New York was cringe even back then
Well, thank you for your video, Ms Kristina. In two days I'm having an exam (The History of America, obviously) and your material helped me a lot in my preparation for it, since I have the question about 13 colonies. This one is even better than in my book (An Illustrated History of America by Bryn O'Callaghan). I hope I'll have to elaborate on this exact topic you'd described in this video! Thank you very much. Btw, I'm a foreign student and I'm not in the US or any country somehow related to the history of the States, so this topis is quite foreign to me. P.S. I'm going to continue this thing with JAMESTHEDUKEOFYORK while answering haha.
This is actually really good! But I am gonna nitpick and point out that you use the modern British flag (well the version post-1808) when in the 18th century version was the 1707 flag
ANY ONE ELSE HERE WHEN YOU ARE IN ONLINE SCHOOL AND YOUR TEACHER SUGGESTED ONE OF KRISTINAS VIDEOS AND NOW YOU ARE WATCHING ALL HER VIDEOS. oh no one just me ok.
instead of saying "slaves" @4:58 you should say "enslaved people". slaves is degrading and makes people forget that they are still people with feelings and rights. They were still people but they were enslaved.
Loved the video until you said Georgia was founded as a debtor's colony. NOT TRUE! Just because James Oglethorpe had the bright idea of creating a colony for debtors does not mean the Trustees agreed with him. They nixed that idea as soon as they got the charter. Yet, somehow the myth continues to be perpetuated.
My teacher showed this video 1 week ago This made everyone laugh so hard... even my teacher was laughing 😆
okay, maylat!
