I was born in Norway and because of my job I've been lucky to live in different countries around Europe during so many years. Been 3 years living in Italy, 1 year in Portugal, 3 years in Germany, 2 years in Spain, and currently in UK for 2 years now. Even if spanish cuisine is well known internationally to be on the highest level, in my opinion is underrated. It is not only about the huge variety on it offer but also the richness of the product and the love they put into it when they cook. It has absolutely nothing to be jealous of other cuisines. I spent there 2 of my happiest years and I hope I can go back soon to live there permanently. ❤🇪🇦
I'm Spanish and these are also my thoughts on our cuisine. It's all about making the base products shine for its own characteristics. I love other cuisines like the Chinese or Italian, but I don't think our dishes have anything to envy to those from these places either. People like you will always be welcome to our country 🤗
@@mlss1229hahah stop dreaming like spain is one of the biggest tomato producers of all of Europe. I have never seen tomatoes from America in europe, i don’t even kow if they would be allowed here with all the chemicals that are forbidden here as well as GMO products are forbidden as well
@keeptheflamelit fact, they originated in the Americas...that's my point, and I'm not commenting about Spain's tomato crop, (karen)...so stop being so defensive and narrow- minded
I don't know why I've not eaten much shrimp but a few days ago a friend of mine made this delectable dish of sauteed shrimp in a fresh tomatoe sauce and the shrimp was out of this world! Funny how you get these preconceived ideas about food and miss out on so much.
In fact those are much more expensive places. There are no tourist traps in Madrid but affordable restaurants and bars specialized in offering the not very knowledgeable tourists what they are looking for at very reasonable prices. That's why, among other reasons, Madrid is one of the most repeated destinations in the whole world. Visitors feel they are treated rightly and there are also lots if things to discover anybody told them about before their first arrival to the city. As I said, differently to Rome or París, two places packed with tourists traps, the people that visit Madrid once usually repeats several times.
❤❤❤ can you go to where Bobby Flat restaurants are an best his food, then we'll know if he's as good as he claims to be ❤ i bet his food is delicious 🤤😋
Everything looked amazing oh my gosh I love the the bakery the mozzarella with tomatoes shrimp scampi is my favorite it is just so fabulous I wish I was there lucky you
Good grief. I would be so sick with most of that! Can't eat shrimp, even. Sometimes I think we should be able to trade in our allergies for something else, so we can try new things! 🙄

Burrata is from Apulia, in Italy, btw.
So they’re not allowed to eat in Spain? Moron.
We know. Also, pasta was invented in China, and pizza in one of the Arabic countries. You're welcome 😊

España es el mejor país del mundo, nuestra gastronomía es la mejor, en cualquier lugar de España se come bien.

El mediterráneo en general... En Grecia he comido, entre otros manjares, pescaito mejor que en Cádiz!

La Duquesita
The French name for the pastries are "Palmier"...a flaky, crispy cookie.
Palmeras
That burrata looked SPICY
Nope not spicy at all! Just flavorful
2.40€ por una palmera, qué grande!
