Casinos always win. They do everything they can to stack the odds against us. From maze like layouts so you can’t find your way out, to walls with no windows or clocks so you lose track of time. But we found the one method that flips the odds and defies their control… We made a card counting robot!

A card counting computer is illegal, you can't use it in any American casino (maybe Belgium, but they may have updated their laws.)

If you research the laws regarding card counting in Nevada, you will see it is illegal to use electronic devices to count cards.
NRS 465.075 Use or possession of device, software or hardware to obtain advantage at playing game prohibited. It is unlawful for any person to use, possess with the intent to use or assist another person in using or possessing with the intent to use any computerized, electronic, electrical or mechanical device, or any software or hardware, or any combination thereof, which is designed, constructed, altered or programmed to obtain an advantage at playing any game in a licensed gaming establishment or any game that is offered by a licensee or affiliate, including, without limitation, a device that:
1. Projects the outcome of the game;
2. Keeps track of cards played or cards prepared for play in the game;
3. Analyzes the probability of the occurrence of an event relating to the game; or
4. Analyzes the strategy for playing or betting to be used in the game,
You need the robot to divide the count by the number of decks. That's called the true count and that is what you really want to be basing your strategy on. WP though. +18 would be called the running count and that's really high
We didn’t want to confuse the broader audience by adding too much math and strategy to the video. Other than the running count, we were still keeping the true count in real life. Which is why we were thrilled to act when we had +18 with roughly only two decks left in the shoe! :)

I get that this is just a fun video but I don't rely think y'all understand card counting. This whole time you are only keeping up with the running count and not the true count. Even if u had the true count you'r not playing well. No one talked about basic strategy deviations depending on the count (not that u even played basic strategy eg standing on 13 against 7). No bet spread at all and remarks like "Who would ever stay when you have 13?"... everyone, against a dealers 2,3,4,5,or 6. I believe that this may be illegal and considered cheating due to the use of electronic devices for communication as well. Good win tho and keeping the running count, betting 1 hail mary when its up, is more likely to win vs that bet at a random time.
