I left school after watching it, and now I'm a fruit seller
Haha, I just posted about Tommy my successful none degree classmate, you too a fruit seller, what a coincidence! .......
said these words 40 years ago, long story short, a classmate who was troublesome, rebellious somewhat, he left early school, didn't do degree, he first went door to door selling potatoes and other odds and ends for some time. He got himself a van, even bigger and wider range to sell, he eventually hired a guy to drive his second bought van, (you see where this is going) after around 15 years of not seeing him, (I was living abroad) I one day came back for my usual short holiday, I went into a veg & fruit shop, I barely recognized him as he popped into his shop I was in, I asked if he was Tommy, said yes, found out he had a string of shops in this product. He had a large Mercedes and a big detached home, meanwhile, the hotel I stayed in, (years before this holiday) I came across another classmate in my hometown, I recognized him, we chatted, (he was a waiter) he had 2 degrees, but couldn't get the job he was aiming for with these degrees, been a waiter there 5 years. Just comparing, if you're street wise, you can beat degrees most of the time. A degree doesn't necessarily mean you're automatically intelligent. Streetwise can get you a lot of places and riches. So get a sack of potatoes, start selling door to door, you never know where it might lead you too, Tommy took the chance and now he’s living a wealthy life.

The fact is : " traditionnal education " is important is in fact statistically correlated to wealth. 5 businessmen succesful after " dropping out " (of Harvard, not highschool lol) doesn't mean dropping out is a rationnal option.
@@LithningWolf your probably gonna dislike your job, I mean, you just wasted the first 20 years of your life and what if you don't want to be a doctor anymore? Also, you have to work a ton unlike a Rich billionaire who earns 10,000 as much as you but you work 10 times as much.

@@jproy141 kids in many parts of the world, especially where this gentleman's ancestry is, are told since young age that you can only succeed in life if you become a doctor or engineer.. many of these young people are not into these fields, but chose to do so because of family pressure.. they are told doctors and engineers make money and are respected... due to the competition, most of them do not even find jobs after spending a lot of money and getting degrees... what if those same kids were taught about doing something else too? something that they might be interested in? for example becoming entrepreneurs to bring business and serve local economy, police officers to serve the communities, artists to create something or trades people(mechanics, welder etc)... path to become rich/successful is not just necessarily through school, college, degree etc... there are many successful people on this planet who were high school/post secondary dropouts... and that is the point of this video mr. mature. my grandfather could not even write his name in his native language, started his career with living in a one bedroom house, but when he died, he left properties for all his kids and grandkids in every rich neighborhood of our hometown. this is a real life success story of an uneducated man and i am fortunate enough to be a part of it.

Head-start to start in the negative. Rather start fresh than in debt. Even Buzz Aldrin who went to the moon and did 3 other space walks finally said i can finally pay off my student debts after being to space 3 times. Pretty mind blowing.

Being rich is not the only goal
That is a mindset of an ambitious person. My parents doesn't tell me to study to be rich, but to become civilized and to be a functional member of my own society. It's about loving what you do and having a sense of contentment that give authentic happiness as what my parents would always tell me.
^^^^^^
100% agree
look man, im not a functional part of society, i never be, i have 0 enjoyment in life, and 0 care for anything, my only motivation is getting to eat something, and for that i need money.
studying was never meant to get richer but to get to top universities and view the world at a broader perspective as you interact with the elites of the society.
Brainwashing is one hell of a thing
You are so right a school just makes you depressed maybe even commit suicide and you can get bullied that lowers you spirit and it’s so useless you can become a doctor by watching a fucking RUclips video or waste 8 more years of your life barely learning anything
Yeah it's true I can't be that rich financially being a doctor, but I would rather love being rich with knowledge and kindness and power to heal people.

Thanks for the motivation. From tomorrow i am stop going to school and become like billionaire
