I have Deadly Strike and Oblivion;s Foe on my necro, with the Grave Lords Sacrifice and it'd fire and forget. This set was meant for Necro with all the Dot passives. Try using wield Soul, with Lingering Torment, and major Breach and you will apply the oblivion's Foe Dot as well. This is a Rapid Rot build Muaahh,
Fire give you one dot from heavy attack. Ice gives you block cost reduce/dmg blocked, chanse to proc Chiiled which comes with extra bonuses if proced while using ice staff - , +chilled dmg is buffed from your class passive.Drop Herthland. Slot /wont bother to look for it now/ a set which gives you 1-2-3 pieces penetration, +ring of majesty. So you drop 5 pieces set, which gives you 3k pent, you get 3k+ pen, bonus wep/spell dmg and armor from 3set + ring of Majesty, and you still have one slot free to use druids braid item or second piece of trainee.
I been using oblivion foe since 2021-2022. Its a really good set and was surprised to see someone make a build with it. The new necro ability is awesome. I pair this with vicious death and also oakensoul and I do about 2 million damage per game. It adds so much pressure.
Tried It rn,It feels a little squishy with heartlhand set,i think with rallying cry or defending backbar It can stand better 1vX,Just how I like It tough. Thanks for the Oblivion and inferno staff combo,It really rips!
Hmm would Deadly be a good alternative to heartland? That 15% extra dot damage seems kinda juicy with those. And old school but valkyn skoria monster set to benefit from the dots? Not having to rely on ults could be kinda nice imo
@Barba223 I always want to use soul magic on necromancer because it feel like darkness like diablo necromancer,it soul if that make sense but sadly there is one ability but with scribing now, I don't care much if they don't buff all necromancer skills abilities because I can make new ones like more for soul magic and so on that fit with dark necromancer.
@Barba223 true and especially with scribing, we can stop complaining about any buff when we can make many difference death souls abilities that will fit necromancer and make them stronger.

Solid build as always. Balorgh and Northern Storm go hand in hand. I was never really able to ditch out the master inferno staff from my warden due to the stun from clench.

Feel free to change whatever you want. Just using what worked for me. Just running what I like

yup it is so good on necro with the changes. Necro still needs some love but its getting there

Sure it could be solid with that. You will miss the extra healing or resist on back bar but prolly a little more damage
