Why? Smashbox is high end
Do have to say the only true love with Smashbox is their Hydrating Foundation so I was like they probably did a good job on this. I was half hoping i was wrong because of all the new foundations coming out
It was the first thought I had yesterday, when I received her "tease" video... thought Smashbox for some reason.. But, then thought, why? She has probably already tried that one. And then here we are today..

I legit sold 5 of these in one day to clients and I knew exactly how they found out about it. They came in asking and I was just like "Tati?" and they were like "yep" LOL I love it!

It literally drew the life out of my normal skin type face. My skin ACTUALLY HURT from all the moisture that was being drawn out. All the Fix + in the world would not help. My pores looked huge and it actually accentuated dry patches I didn't know were there.
Desperately trying to think of ways to make it work and not throw in in the bin, I took a drop or two of The Ordinary's Rosehip oil and mixed it in with a bit of the foundation. Result: amazing skin. This mix has become my favourite base of all time. Definitely try it!!!!

H W I don’t pay attention to RUclips, CLEARLY, but if I remember correctly only like 1 or 2 of the people I ever helped brought it back. I’m my area ppl love matte, full coverage, and dry tho.

Yes! Smashbox is the only brand that doesn’t break out my skin and doesn’t look wrecked after a long day and humid Kansas weather.
I love the original hydrating foundation, and was interested in the new one, but most of the reviews on Sephora are negative :(
I find alot of their products super powdery or they just aren't good. They have a few good things though

Tati is probably never going to do that , because a while back when she talked about ingredients a lot in a few videos in a row, everybody got butthurt. They were complaining like no other that she doesn’t have the right background to comment on ingredients. She stopped doing it as much right after that, so I’m sure that was at least part of the reason why.
Came here to suggest Kenna as well! After her Jaclyn Hill videos she started talking more about makeup ingredients and the good and bad. She's awesome

This is getting ridiculous. I currently have six bottles of foundation, and two cushion compacts. I already decided I 'need' the Fenty hydrating foundation, and now I 'need' this too. I don't even wear makeup every day.

Ok so I saw this review and I absolutely LOVE Tati and know that her recommendations cannot be bought so I knew I had to try this foundation when my Lancome one ran out. Meanwhile my Ispy bag arrived yesterday and it happened to have this EXACT foundation in it!! I had also already bought the primer so I tried the combo together and I am now so excited to begin wearing this together!! ❤ you Tati!! Thanks for being an honest person with fantastic reviews!!
i can never really see how good the foundation is when u try it bc in camera they all look super similar, but i can actually tell how good this one is. you look unreal. your skin is completely smooth. i dont even wear makeup much anymore and i want to buy this

I agree... lately I have been setting my primer with the Maybelline setting powder that is for dry skin. I have never ever use powder on my face before because it's so dry. And my Foundation is staying on a lot longer by setting my primer just a little bit see tiny bit of powder and a little tiny bit of powder on top of my Foundation. It's been working really good with the Maybelline setting powder

Smashbox really doesn’t get enough hype for their complexion products! The studio skin foundation is AMAZING. Hydrating but matte natural finish, and wears forever without settling into lines!

The alcohol in the setting sprays helps draw the moisture out of the face products which helps it stay put.

If you have a problem like that i would recommend the ordinary. Has helped me lots.

I just want to thank you for this video! My brother is getting married on Sept 14th and I've been struggling to find a foundation I actually like for the big day. I've tested out several and really wasn't sold on any of them. After this video, I went to try the smashbox foundation. WOW! I love it. The finish is beautiful, it goes on easily, wears well, and the major bit? My super oily T-zone doesn't shine like the sun after only an hour! This foundation did wonders for both my dry areas and oily areas. So thank you Tati. Truly. I was stressing over this for weeks and now I feel like I can finally breathe knowing I'll have a foundation I can trust on the big day, all day long!!

Honeypie Smith I have dry skin and I use the kiehls ultra facial cream underneath it and it looks beautiful on my skin :) it's not glowy by any means but its not too matte either! very natural looking
