Congrats on the 100 subs!! I agree in that this game could have been better and it's almost like the team that worked on this was more obsessed with showing off the graphical effects of the System 32 while taking a backseat with everything else including game play. I completely forgot this game drains your health based on elapsed time which is not a good look ever for an arcade game. Kind of like Aliens I think I played this in the mid to late 2000's once on MAME, beat it, and pretty much haven't looked back ever since lol. 😎

This game could have done things so much better and I agree with you that it was almost a muscle flexing exercise by Sega, its not a bad game but its not a truly great game either and I think it probably only appealed to Spider-Man fans like myself.
Another game for me to check out thanks, the only Spiderman game that comes to my mind in a retro sense is the Amiga version of amazing Spiderman, an unusual and captivating platformer

You know I have never played that one on the Amiga, I think I will check that out.
I played this at a Nickel City once. It was okay?
Its worth a play for sure, but unless you are a Spider-Man fan it will probably have very limited appeal.
