What a fantastic bass player. Thanks for putting this up Blake because I would not have heard of him otherwise. I will check out his music. I am out/on the way to the beach. I hope that you are enjoying your endless summer~ Rob/Boston
Hey Hey Rob in Boston! Glad to introduce them to you... Give these guys a listen as they are really good. Hot and dry down here in Charlotte these days! Take Care, Blake
Thanks for watching and for the kind comments Jim. Yes, all great performers. The house was on fire by the end of the night, let me tell you! All the best, Blake
Glad you enjoyed that Rick. These guys are out of Asheville and I think Jonathon spent some time growing up in Fayetteville (military family). I'll be keeping my eye out for them paying again in the 2-3 hour radius... I would definitely see these guys again! Thanks for watching and the comment!
Thanks for watching and for the nice comment. We'll see what the future brings. I'm still knee-deep in mini-comics land at the moment. Take Care, Blake
Blake, thanks for posting this. Such a great song from great artists. BTW I interviewed Jonathan about this song a while back and he went into even more detail about the background and development of this song: www.glidemagazine.com/127673/jonathan-scales-talks-lurkin-tribute-bela-fleck-column/
Very nice! Thanks for adding to this Jody. Much appreciated. And looking forward to the next Jonathan Scales house concert! Still grooving to it even today! ;-D
I was hesitant to sit so close, yes, but to he honest, with Jonathan's light touch, considering the environment, it wasn't bad at all. The drums, now.... THAT got a little loud. ;-) It was lots of fun, man. I should rope you in on some of these house shows! I think you would have enjoyed this one. Thanks for watching and the nice comments!

I used to do house concerts with Ragtime piano players. A lot of niche music has been going there.
Great!
Hubert-Germany
Hey Hubert! They are planning to be in Wurzburg, Germany on November 6th. Check them out if you can! Best, B
Oh, great! Würzburg is close to my home, about 50 miles. Thanks.

Thanks for watching and leaving a nice comment. Best, Blake
I always wanted to get a steel drum, but they are amazingly expensive. And loud... especially where you were sitting!
