    Because it is 18650 batt. I like this model more than the MT1C Pro. Only Low & High modes is kind of my liking now. Nice & simple. Cheers!😎

      Completely agree about two mode lights. Low is usually enough to navigate and see things around me, High is when you wanna brighten up things or focus on something a bit further. Who needs anything else?

    No built in battery and a simple UI? Nice. I had pretty much written off Nitecore as a brand but I like this one.

    This mainly is a good tactical light. But for this a strike bezel would have been nice.

      It's also a REALLY solid option for a higher candela weapon light, though it does have one notable weakness in this regard with only having a contact point of the head and not being "double sprung".
      I know it's not really their "shtick" but if Nitecore released a light exactly like this but with potted components in the head of the light and with a spring contact in the head it could dominate the budget weapon light market.

    This light has 2 modes, but too bad it can not program to start with high or low in first mode like olight i3t version 2. But i still collect this mt2c pro, it is a great light. Sorry for my bad English.

    I have this torch and wish it had a medium mode and a high mode. A nice 200 to 300 lumen and then the high. The 50 lumen mode seem like you get all or nothing. Plus it always starts in high mode. Should be able to program it to start on low.

      Yeah the fenix pd32 is what your after, though it's not as compact as this.

    Love this light, hate the tint. Thoughts on this vs. the Weltool T2 TAC?

    • @rajaramfan
      @rajaramfan 3 месяца назад

      T2 Tac will likely maintain its output for longer. A better option than both is the SkyLumen modded T2 :)

      @@rajaramfan Debateable. If I understand correctly the SkyLumen updated driver adds a bunch of extra mode options, but isn't that exactly what buying a 'tactical' torch is meant to avoid?

    • @xtanwolff
      @xtanwolff 3 месяца назад +1

      @@MPD90 "Programmable" mode options. You can always select a 100% only, or a 100%/5% two mode, three mode, etc.

      @@xtanwolff Cool, none of which is worth paying extra for in a tactical light, otherwise it's no longer tactical, which would mean... drum roll... just buy a light with modes to begin with!

    • @xtanwolff
      @xtanwolff 3 месяца назад +1

      @@MPD90 Disagree. His mods pump up the lumen count, double the candela, lengthens the runtime and changes the emitter color. The fact that it's programmable doesn't mean you have to have different modes. You could simply enjoy the improvements and leave it all in one mode. I personally like a High and a Low, but not a Low hidden behind four half presses.

    oh, it doesn't hold turbo for more than about 30 secs and then you get a noticeable step down

    it would have been better of the battery didn't have a usb a charger in it. makes the battery to long and incompatible to other lights and cases. which is annoying.
