What is the permissible overhang of the workpiece with this clamping method?
In general we have a stable situation if the overhang length is lower than 3 times the diameter. In this case we have a diameter of 150mm and an overhang length of 125mm which means we have a length to diameter ratio of smaller than 1.
@@waltertools thanks for the explanation.I just thought this method is for straight jaws and another method for recessed jaws.
