    OMG stop with the music! I think we all watch these things to get a feel for the tools you are promoting. Drowning the machining sound in music doesn't make the mill any favors.

      +Carlos drills yes, end mills you might as well go with lakeshore carbide and save a bunch of money....depends on what you're cutting i guess, they're amazing for aluminum

      We'd be happy to send out a catalog (or here's the link for the PDF: www.guhring.com/Documents/Catalog/EndMills/2015DiverEndMillsSmall.pdf). We sell through distribution in USA - can I help you locate the nearest Guhring distributor to you?

    where can I purchase these end mills I'm impressed with how big of a cut the end mill can handle how well do they handle with medium to high carbon steel?

    • @guhring_USA

      +bowtie4ever96
      If you can tell me where you're located I can help you track down an Authorized Guhring distributor through which you can purchase Diver end mills. I'll defer your carbon steel question to our product manager, who can reply separately...

      And regarding running the Diver in medium to high carbon steel: The Guhring RF100 Diver carbide end mill features geometry well suited for carbon steel. With a 7 degree radial rake angle Diver cuts freely while still proving good edge support. Guhring Diver has nano-Si coating providing a very high surface hardness that maximizes tool life.

    Is this aluminium?

    • @guhring_USA
      @guhring_USA  8 лет назад

      +Dajan Marinkovic
      There's a brief period in the video when the material is listed: C45. Since the video was prepared in Europe, I looked up what it "translates" to in SAE terms, and it's said to be 1045 - a medium carbon steel with these chemical properties: Ferro (Fe), Carbon (C) 0.43-0.50%, Silicon (Si) 0.17-0.4%, Manganese (Mn) 0.50-0.8%, Nickel (Ni)

      HSS? LOL. Try swiftcarb AV3 series on aluminum. Yeah, it's carbide.
