@@HelloShiganshinaI just got an exhaust from Arrow which is the only „legal“ one here in Germany so far…. Sounds great but now there is actually a problem with the cat and this is an issue from the side of Arrow. They told me now to uninstall and send it back and I get refunded. This is an issue for all of there new exhausts for the 2024 model. They told me when I have to got for the regular „check up“ (every 2 years here in Germany) this could be a problem since it might not stand the new EU emissions standards 🤦🏻♂️ Sorry for the long message…my question would be….is there nothing like this is your country where they check on your bike every few years? With no cat you would get no further license to drive. …or how do you handle this? Love to here from U 😊
No, the shop said it wasn't needed since the ECU adjusts itself, however it could help. I might do one next summer. Very expensive here and I'd have to travel far with the bike.
The screw (? is that the correct word?) is welded to the exhaust with a small welding spark (not sure if correct word here either?). Carefully removed the welding with a drill, and then you can use an allen key to remove the db killer.
@@kvn65r No, I don’t think so and to my knowledge Akra doesn’t have a road legal exhaust for the 24. I think you can buy a cat for it though which makes it somewhat legal.
Dunno if you still read these, but what's your height and how comfy are you on the bike? I'm 6'3" and I've been looking to get the same one, but heard mixed opinions from taller riders.
I'm 5'8" and very comfy on the bike. Totally non-professional opinion but I think heights from 5'6" to 6'0" would fit absolutely great on this bike. 6'3" I don't know, might be a bit cramped but could also work just fine. No dealers nearby where you can test it?
Actually the CEL lit up last week I think, I have an ODB2 scanner so checked the code and it read as an O2 error. So I cleared the error code with my ODB2 scanner. Akrapovic even says on their website for the exhaust that the CEL might light up when installing this exhaust. So, yes...it has now happened to me too. The CEL has not come back since I cleared it. Hope it works out for you.
Respecting the guy walking his dog, nice. Sounds good man, waiting for the US dealerships to get these in a month.
Are they still not released in the US?
@@HelloShiganshina nope, my local dealership said a few days ago that they're still a few weeks out
nice bike and view..wish i can ride there
Increíble video 😮❤ Por favor, graba más videos de la moto y el escape Akrapovič 🔊🏍️👌🏻
Will do
Nice pops and bangs all the way when you are releasing throttle ...
Which one would you suggest?
- Austin Racing GP1R or Akra
Both sound amazing, can't go wrong with either one.
Does it pops and Bangs with cat also this crazy? Cause in germany u need cat
I don't know but I don't think so (you need cat here too, I'm naughty)
Is cat the db killer

Did you tune after replacing the exhaust?
@@josuehdz0 no. Next year I will

No nothing, tnx!
@boss4fun28 on my 2021 650r (full mivv system no cat no db, dyno tuned) i neep my throttle open just a tiny tiny little bit to make it go burr

Hi! Did you do ECU tuning to your bike after the exhaust change ?
No, the shop said it wasn't needed since the ECU adjusts itself, however it could help. I might do one next summer. Very expensive here and I'd have to travel far with the bike.
Where did you put the DJI Mic?
In my back pocket, messed up the audio on this video though.
Is the db killer in this 2024 akra welded like in the older exhaust or you can easily remove it with an allen key

Hola una pregunta te sale algun fallo al cambiar el escape ?Le has hecho alguna reprogramación ?Un saludo
Me salió la luz CEL una vez pero la borré con mi escáner ODB2
Is the exhaust legal for germany? If not, is there a legal version from akrapovic?

Does it drone with this exhaust? Like when you let go of throttle is it very deep?
A bit I'd say. Deep but not very deep.
where did u buy the adjustable levers?

Hi, I have the same exhaust for the CB650R and the engine failure light is coming on. Has this happened to you?

Did you tune the bike after the akrapovic full system? Love the sound
I haven't no, it's superexpensive here and I'd have to travel a long way to get it done. Maybe in the future

Yeah it does
