Congratulations on that 20” +/- fish! While it is not the space or (short form) place to discuss it, good on you for the removal of these, basically, unregulated hazards. After all, once they are up they are up. Unlike our fishing or hunting regulations they do not need to be inspected, updated, maintained each year. I could go on, but maybe if I make it back to the C.O. area we could have a sit down and visit for a chat about it. I am not sure anything would change, but as far as I know dreams are still free off charge. Be well and carry on. 🍻
Thanks and thanks again! I’m all for sustainable land use, but respect and responsibility come first. I’ve maintained fences most of my life, it’s not hard to do the right thing. Thanks for sharing your side of it and thanks for coming along! 😎🎣
@@TroutDirty agreed. I'm currently editing a video about a recent trip out there. Also, nice work with the fence stuff. It's so sad to see that kind of stuff. Cheers!
That’s awesome and thanks! As anglers and an angling community, we have these great opportunities to help keep all our backyards the best they can be 🎉🐟
Should have brought the 6wt! It was a fair fight, great day, that rod is bomb proof (not my arms!) RB vs SH… depends on who you ask? According to our regs, anything over 20in counts as “steel”. Some people think “steel” is only chromed out pigs. Anadromous is an interesting term in our current situation. Current research on actual migratory patterns?None. I believe Redbands, especially ours, have been, can be and are anadromous. It’s a steelhead to me. Great Lakes, sea run, big ass trout, people have their opinions. I say we not argue about what’s “steel” and just do what’s best to keep these fish healthy and around for the next generation… 😎👍
New sub here- love the content, especially being on my local waters as well! 10’10” 3 wt DB Ideal Nymph???? I have the 10’ 2wt and 10’10” 3 wt, and love em. Best stick for the money and I think possibly the best nymphing rod out there, Joe hit it out of the park on this one.
That’s awesome, thanks! Love these rods! This video is the 4wt, but 2,3 and 6 are also in the arsenal. Best value and best lineup for real world action! 😎👍
Emotional hole II was a situation for sure. Nice fish Bro!! And great point on the abandoned fences, that's us not nature. Great video
When I had to move downstream, I’m like “Drew! Help! Net!!” 🤘😂👍
Thanks bud 🤓
and that's why we carry the big net, epic fish, brother
Thanks bud you too! I’m eyeing those new poor man (bank angler) Fishpond Mid Length Boat Nets. 😏👉🛒

Hell of a fish there and way to save some wildlife. I see many more good karma fish in your future
Thanks bud! I’ll take all I can get! 😂👍
Holy cow! Was that a RB or SH? What a fight for the Euro rod! Good job.

@@TroutDirty Sweet!! I want the 6. U nymph that river for chrome with it? I get up to Cleveland quite a bit and id love it for Great Lakes steelhead
The 6 is ideal for the steel. I do a lot of jig streamer swinging with the entire lineup, it’s like a whole different game 🤘😎
Nice work! Balanced leaches?
Thanks bud! Jig streamers, lighter colors that day. Drifted, jigged and swung! 😎🎉
