"If you can't do it slow, you certainly can't do it fast." This is a very, very, very wise piece of advice that holds true in so many cases where we're trying to master some new skill or ability -not just in martial arts. And it speaks to the art of teaching as well: an effective teacher does not rush the learner beyond the current level of proficiency.
True brother, that was my mistakes in the class and now I know how to learn and I will know how to teach someone, I always wanted to be fast and yet doing the techniques wrong, slow but sure is the best way of learning martial arts techniques, after you manage to do it slowly and later on you increase your speed
Top class instructor. You make it seem so easy to follow , observing the moves of the student carefully and correcting the mistakes on the way.... Step by step does it. Thank you for your wonderful instruction.
You're very welcome! globalmartialarts.university/course/kravmaga/
It's called "reflex action" when you're trying to make it a natural reaction. She's anticipating and is always timid. Practice Practice Practice is the key. Make it feel like a dance move you're showing off in the club, streets, church, etc.
These make so much sense.. this is just what my instructor is saying today!.
that was insane i think i fall in love with krav maga
Yas l like that becous he is feel you good❤
Thanks, excellent instructor and demostration.
great instructor and very comfortable format of learning...
Glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to check out our full programs available at: globalmartialarts.university/ :)
I’ve watched three of these videos now and I just realized that Krav Maga is the style of defense Jennifer Lopez was using in the movie Enough. I kinda noticed it in the first video but it became more clear with this video.
thats what it is,
Please tell me there are shirts with "all that good stuff" on it XD
Hi, I think the immediate reaction is likely panic, so I would need to train myself to have the muscle memory to automatically react with these defensive/offensive moves. I'm afraid that, if encountering a real-world situation, I would forget all about learned moves.
That's why daily training with rest periods in between is essential even if you're a brown belt you should come back and practice these white belt moves and master all of them all the way up to where ever you rank I think this is a good defense especially for women but for anyone that wants to be able to not be a victim Krav Maga is typically more expensive than other martial arts and to me there is a good reason why to me every other Training Day with repetitions even till it gets tiring is the only way these will work and someday could possibly save your life to me this is a very good martial art for anyone especially women who more often than not are the victims
repetition is what makes you lethal once you master the moves enough you never forget. its automatic, no matter what style, as long as is Kung fu based.
@@danielwebster5748 THANK YU SIROSSU
Happened to me tens of times. I can't remember when I hited some swing punch... in fight I go always right jab, close in usually under his hand if he throws,,go on side/behind him, catch him for neck and go down with him and choke... and I spending hours on heavy bag using jab,cross,uppercut.. trow... nooo.. but it's idk why I go that..
That's the reason for a person to train with.
I already have a passing knowledge of boxing so moving into Krav Maga is a very natural shift for me
Same here but i like to always learn everything as if its the 1st
Yea extremely similar to my style of kick boxing
Keeping the head up eliminates important leverage between the arm/shoulder and the neck/jaw. We always teach students to tuck their chin.
That's the same we do, Adrian. Looking up is pretty dangerous, because your exposing the whole throat and putting its muscles in a compromised form (too much stretch, less tension). Tucking the chin lowers the attackers ability to push really deep into the throat, so in my opinion this is absolutely vital. Furthermore I prefer controlling the opponent by grabbing his right hand immediately with my left (I'm right-handed) and pulling it firmly to my chest while raising the right arm and breaking the choke by turning to the left - all in one motion of course. By doing so I pull him right into a perfect position for my ellbow and he can not escape too easy.
What if Im backed to a wall? How would I be able to turn or have my dominant leg infront of my other leg to achieve any kind of balance?
Pretend to be changing a lightbulb in the ceiling. That'll get the arm and chin up.
I love training in mauy Thai, boxing ,krav maga
Thank you you are awesome for teaching this
All that good stuff.
you are a great instructoir, sir
U ovakvoj situaciji je najefikasnije uraditi napadaču polugu na prstima i istovremeno mu zadati nogom udarac u genitalije. Po meni je to najpraktičnije i izvodljivo je i na najjačem napadaču.
She speaks!
It is very nice this training.God bless
that is good but turning your back to soon to run could sometimes be more dangerous. All so there is quite often more than one person to deal with. Had to go to the aid of a girl being pushed around by 5 men, I did scare them off pretty quick but if they would of came back at me more than once, would of had to do blows that put them down for a long time not just a few seconds . One thing we use to teach was take out the knee if possible before running off. Even with a kick to the groin some guys can recover very quickly and take after you, so unless you could out run them, turning away to quick night not be a good idea. I am now 72 and have gotten way out of shape, stopped training at 65 and that was a big mistake, that is why I am looking in to Krav Maga Not so much for my self but is I see any one in need I want to be able to go to there defense, no mater what the odds are.
I would imagine your reaction would have to depend on the circuumstances largely.
Its weird, seeing a white belt video again after the release of the yellow and orange belt videos.
Apparently I misunderstood what K M was all about. I was under the impression that it was the attacker who was going to WANT to run away but was by that time unable to do more than whimper....
all that good stuf.. very important
I'm going to Israel next year for Krav maga. Anyone wanna go with me

Sir should we follow white belt class or yellow belt class in beginning??
Start with the white belt classes, and then start doing the yellow belt classes.
White belt is the beginner
I have a question. If someone chokes me and slaps me into a wall, then I can't do that step back and turn with raised hand cause i have my back to the wall then. What do i do in such a situation ??
Kicks, knees. Scratch the eyes. Try to rip their ears off. You could do a shin rake, where you use the edge of your shoe and run it down their shin like you're scraping the skin off. This is just one beginner level escape. There are infinite number of ways, but like he said, it depends on your size and capabilities.
Use your legs to push them off because your legs are most likely stronger than their arms
Very nice Krav Maga go ahead to training.I see You are very serious.you suitable tobecome a soldiers..nice
Training scar = You fight like you train.
The quality of your training whether good or bad will go with you Grasshopper...

I am loving your videos, can u show some it's. Mags tech iques to escape a rear naked choke?
Some krav maga techniques to escape a rear naked choke.. sorry my phone had auto correct
working your upper body is important but you have a foundation like it or not. calf lifts thigh curls and squats no offense. top heavy. easy to tumble.
Good class
Hi
Damn after training muya thai for ten years (when I was much younger) a lot of the krav maga techniques are so counterintuitive :S I keep closing my fist in the strikes for example how to get rid of that? Because yeah I don't normally have my fists taped in and wear gloves when I walk across the street. Another problem I have is that somehow I try to control the range automatically, maybe that will be covered later.
Keep practicing, and check out our full Krav Maga program at: globalmartialarts.university/course/kravmaga/
certainly you escape from the choke with this technique, but is it this dangerous for the amount of nerves down of our shoulder? i mean that it's a very sensitive part as same at the neck, and if you raise your arm up, you expose you to be hit
i find for me it does not get rid of the grip it twists them around in a position where i have the advantage at least when I practise it with my younger bro
nice! thanks!
Here in Britain, if someone attacks you, you can legally smash up their arm and then stomp on their knee so they cant follow you. I'm not kidding, criminal violence can cost you an arm and a leg.
Why not attack them at first to break the choke?

Just thanks.
I was in a road rage 😡 situation back on November 4th, 2021 where the attacker chased me with a baseball ⚾️ bat but fortunately I got help in a hair salon 💇♀️ who called the police 👮♀️ on the attacker who left. Fortunately I didn’t have to fight him or both of us would’ve been injured 🤕 or worse. Life is very precious, short, and a gift 🎁 from God!
nice but sir so could make a yellow belt class
There is a yellow belt series, just look through their channel.
Tnx sir
super
Whoa! She talks?
try the Hebrew letters, im going to make a new pomsa /alef bet gimel.
i am sorry but why would you want to point to the sky? and turn and step back she s losing balance, when you can just do a kick to the groin, or from there point across instead of up, chop down block, and follow up with hammer, punch, kick to the knee grab the eyes punch the throat, solar plex etc do a combo or something, but this first step, pointing upwards, is seens compromising to the defender. sorry this is very similar to a Shaolin style I learned a while back but shorter moves faster and more efficient, as deadly as this one, no mercy on ther opponents. (non competition kung fu)
Slow is fast...
Everytime she kept her elbow bent had me feeling frustrated lol. I know she is new at this though.
If you can't do it slowly you can't do it quickly
If your partner doesn't earn it just don't give it to them, if so your letting bad habits start to form. I know you touched on it verbally but keep it up physically, your training partner will thank you for it later.

I'm 66, a retired fed bodyguard, ex ranger- and have been in over 1000 confrontations in my career- lost 2- and NOT ONE TIME has anyone attempted to 'choke" or even 'grab' me.. I trained in defense against these things too- but it never ever happened- on the streets, or in the jungles. or anywhere else Ive been. I was almost tken out-- by a TRUCK-- got mashed between two trucks in 99.. that ended my bodyguard work.. 23 years ago- and I'm still not over it- but as I said- not ONCE was I ever grabbed or chokes attempted... in 1000 confrontations.. NOT SAYING it doesn't happen-- just it never happened to ME.
what you describe is called an anecdotal evidence. It will happen to somebode sometime. And for that occasion you better know how to defend yourself.
@@MrToolLPsChannel AGREED.. it's not IF- it's WHEN
@@MrToolLPsChannel Although Now not so likely as I'm retired and go out very little.
Oh yeah, I bet you like watching your favorite anime in your basement everyday too.

Am I the only one that thinks she’s in love with him?
I was looking for your comment. 😂 I thought the same.
I really hope I won’t have to use these techniques in a real life situation (knocking on wood 🪵).
