Thank you so much. Fanstastic review with your kit as well! Viewers reading this comment, please check out the VS4-10 Pro review by Scale Builders Guild for some more great information on this truck.
honestly I wouldnt know, but i myself havnt seen higher quality parts on any rig out the box. an doesn't appear to need any hop ups to out preform most built rigs that could easily exceed 1000 bux. appreciate your comment though
do you work for vanquish or are you a bot? you know they made in Taiwan right? not merica. don't try to talk down to me mate. I'm just saying if you was a noob which I doubt you are you would most likely not know who vanquish are And it's clear from your tone what the deal is bro. Keep on strolling.
this is the first time i watched you twist up the chassis and instead of cringing i was like "just throttle out!! this truck can take it" such an epic machine. great video Greg!
Definitely a Dream Kit. It will be the next kit I buy and the first one I build. When I get some time of course. * Now that I have watched the entire video I must say the Review is Honest and very much appreciated. Love the paint. And I did notice the lack of Drag Brake. Thank you Greg.
Great video. Really nice insight on the kit. The scenery for your test driving was amazing. Definitely like the color on the truck. I’ve always toyed with the decision to buy one, your video may have pushed me in that direction. Keep up the great content. Thanks.
11PONCHO11 Thanks! Driving along the shore was pretty awesome. At one point I had an audience watching me drive and cheering when I cleared some rough terrain. lol
Another great review. It is by far hands down the Best truck on the market. They did a great job with the design and you did a great job with you review. Thank you for all the information.
So i am seeing a trend here, you give hearts and likes to the comments that congratulate your review or ypur paintjob........ some of us have questions....
Nice review Greg! But I do have to correct one error. What you are referring to as the "drag link" is in fact the "tie rod". The actual "drag link" runs from the servo horn to the LH steering knuckle. A lot of people watch your channel and mistakes like that are how mis-information gets spread on the internet.
Started adding up the parts from their website. Getting this kit is actually a discount. Now I'm thinking... time to sell my Honcho, Wraith and TRX4 and get this and build it up. Woot! I agree about the shocks, but if you fill them up to the top of the threaded body (not all the way up), they build nicely.
I have been wanting one of these trucks since they come out. This year I'm going to buy one, but I'm going to get a new one that has the portal axles I'm hoping to be able to put my hobbywing 550 axe motor in it but we'll see
It's too damn nice to drive. Despite the inevitable RUclipsr who will mud-bog and skateboard park bash his VS4-10 Pro Origin Halfcab, I think the vast majority of others will be buying skid-plates and such for those beautifully machined aluminum axles and stainless steel links. Just two months running my TRX4 in a residential desert-scape rock garden has shown me It would be crazy buying certain expensive CNC machined jewelry for my truck's driveline/suspension and expect it to perform without permanently and continuously scaring them as it has done the OEM items. Way too pretty of a truck for a commoner to actually use.
Awesome video! I now have a new dream truck, and my kid is definitely not getting an 8th scale Ebuggy any time soon...lol Can you plea see tell me if there was anything special you used to get the iridescent look to the paint, and what you used for the stripe on the side and gunmetal color .... Beautiful paintjob, and good job with the build and video... keep shining and stay healthy, safe, and sane ...
Also, please tell me, if after buying this kit, I was forced to go for a somewhat budget motor/ESC , like HW 1080 and Reedy 5 slot... what turn 5-slot motor would you suggest?
I was thinking about getting one of these to match our Jeep for a winter project, seems you need more than just a body kit, hand remote and other parts ?
This is the nicest crawler I've seen definitely a shelf queen 👑🤘🤯 amazing!! But definitely not cheap!! You will never break these axles.. Great reviews cheers 👍💯
I realize this is an older video but I’m looking at the VS 410 for my next build. I saw you had an RX4 ESC what motor did you go with? Love your channel, I watched your multiple part on RC basics before getting back into the hobby after a long time away. Thanks for that series!
Great video and review! I preordered the Pro last month and am excited that they will be shipping soon. I have the VS4-10 Origin and know how well built and capable these rigs are. The Pro with the VFD trans will be a great performer too!
Great video and review!!! love the paint job!!! One day maybe, the initial cost is steep but really for what you're getting it's a steel and no need to upgrade!!!
My dream machine was a rc4wd tf2 I lost mine to hurricane Irma shity but I got in contact with rc4wd and the help me get a new one riley cool of them to help ! So my I will only buy rc4wd + they make a great product!
RCDriver_Online I just ordered the VS4-10 Pro online and in mid November Vanquish will be shipping them out. This will be the first Rock Crawler I’ve ever purchased. I never painted any of my RC trucks because i always brought RTR. Even though I never built a kit, I’m very excited that this will need my first. Have you ever painted a body for someone else? If so, I would willing like it if you can do one for me. I will pay of course.
Eric Jac Congrats on the kit, you went right for the good stuff. I don’t paint much anymore. I suggest Kustom RC Graphics to anyone who inquires about paint work.
Still too much $ for much of the DIY working class, who would rather spend $350 and choose the other $400 worth of upgrades after running it in their own environment for awhile. Really well done vehicle, though, and I do appreciate that this level of gearhead quality is available. Good video, regardless.
For the money paid for this u would think the link ends were aluminum as a matter of fact for a hundred bucks you think I could get a little bit more aluminum in there but that's just my opinion
At almost $400 more than the Axial Gladiator, this truck will not out perform the Axial Gladiator. Not to mention, in my view, the Axial is a much better looking Crawler.
The shocks just plain suck. For $750 I can't believe they didn't put better shocks in it. Also they used Some incision Parts Instead of vanquish. The few incision parts that I have bought were very, very low quality.
the lack of detail in the body just makes me wonder why????? it's not a liscenced scout...so why didn't they spend the money they saved on the liscence n give the body some nice detail? you could make a great rig for a 3rd of that thing n still out perform it. my son's chinese twin hammers would piss on it even with its open diffs n plastic sacraficial gears. no offence guys.
I could write an essay on how wack the body is n the first version of this truck robbed the anti torque twist og scx10 gear box off the Chinese. nothing at all ground braking about that one hence why they got on n tried to do something to it to sell it...which in my mind still ain't enough. there's to much decent competition to warrant anyone buying this rig.
Fantastic, in-depth review Greg. Well done!
Thank you so much. Fanstastic review with your kit as well! Viewers reading this comment, please check out the VS4-10 Pro review by Scale Builders Guild for some more great information on this truck.
who doesn't love vanquish? im a noob an already know its the best money can buy
really is not the hype is unbelievable
honestly I wouldnt know, but i myself havnt seen higher quality parts on any rig out the box. an doesn't appear to need any hop ups to out preform most built rigs that could easily exceed 1000 bux. appreciate your comment though
funny how sure you are for a noob. I build better rigs for 300 from scratch lol
do you have a vs4?
do you work for vanquish or are you a bot? you know they made in Taiwan right? not merica. don't try to talk down to me mate. I'm just saying if you was a noob which I doubt you are you would most likely not know who vanquish are
And it's clear from your tone what the deal is bro. Keep on strolling.
This is one of the ones I got on the Rc bucket list!
Yup! Probably spent about 20 minutes just staring at the front axle housing alone when it first arrived. Amazing machine work.
Excellent video editing Greg. Love all the info you provided on this rig. Got me putting this on my wish list.
Thanks! Only 215 video clips to sort through on this one lol
this is the first time i watched you twist up the chassis and instead of cringing i was like "just throttle out!! this truck can take it" such an epic machine. great video Greg!
This is definitely a dream truck. The looks and performance are a perfect match! 🤘🏻
Yup, an excellent scale truck on so many levels!
Definitely a Dream Kit. It will be the next kit I buy and the first one I build. When I get some time of course.
* Now that I have watched the entire video I must say the Review is Honest and very much appreciated. Love the paint. And I did notice the lack of Drag Brake. Thank you Greg.
Chris Figiel Yeah, both time I went out, I forgot my Tekin Hotwire🤦♂️
RCDriver_Online My question is simple..... Greg did you paint the body?
Great video. Really nice insight on the kit. The scenery for your test driving was amazing. Definitely like the color on the truck. I’ve always toyed with the decision to buy one, your video may have pushed me in that direction. Keep up the great content. Thanks.
11PONCHO11 Thanks! Driving along the shore was pretty awesome. At one point I had an audience watching me drive and cheering when I cleared some rough terrain. lol
I believe it. I thought at one point you definitely were going to put some scratches on the great paint job.
Another great review. It is by far hands down the Best truck on the market. They did a great job with the design and you did a great job with you review. Thank you for all the information.
Thank you for watching! There was a lot to cover on this one, it's a great truck!
So i am seeing a trend here, you give hearts and likes to the comments that congratulate your review or ypur paintjob........ some of us have questions....
Yeah soooo.......
Lol right
I don't mind watching his videos
Very detailed awesome paint Job you are the true hobbyist. Used to be in the game back when the frog was the thing.
I KNEW that was Maine! I thought I recognized those rocks. I grew up within walking distance of that path.
Love the short overhangs.
Simply Awesome video!
Yeah what a awesome rig, Love your paint job on it looks awesome. I want one really bad. Appreciate you sharing i'll be watching for more
Wow awesome job on the body paint. Looks so pristine. 👍🏼👍🏼
Wow the Green is perfect!
Yeah, the Pro-Line Lime Green is my new favorite color!
Nice review Greg! But I do have to correct one error. What you are referring to as the "drag link" is in fact the "tie rod". Excellent video! I have one on order, can’t wait, love the color, reminiscent OG Deadbolt. Maybe a video on some rock lights in the near future, hmmm?
Joelpze1 There will be more videos with this rig 😁

What color is this? Looks amazing do you have a # for the type of color
What color and company did u use for painting that body. Very nice.
People still saving since this video can now get Ultra edition 😂 I got my pro 2 weeks prior to release of ultra.
It's too damn nice to drive. OMG it's a work of art😯 I wouldn't want to drive it, it's soooooo pretty, I love it
I know, that's how I felt! I cringed at the first scratch on the axles.
Lol my dream vehicles are any of the trucks on that cool wall!
LOL, yeah, lots of fun stuff there.
RCDriver_Online keep up the great work.
Awesome video! I now have a new dream truck, and my kid is definitely not getting an 8th scale Ebuggy any time soon...lol

That seems to have the smoothest transmission. Very quiet.
I was thinking about getting one of these to match our Jeep

Super Rock Crawler👍👍
It's a beast!

Greg...... Can I fit a Mojave II LWB body to the vanquish kit?
I can’t even afford to get my dream rc vehicle lol
get a job?
@@Toddothegoddo if only that was simple.
Great video and build.
Another Infomercial from our sponsors.
I am split between this or a dr10 build. It's a tough call for me. Once I get my ebuggy rebuilt. I would do a comp 2 build.
Excellent review Greg, and beautiful area for a crawl.
Agreed!
What color green is that really like it
Love the paint job. What proline Paint did you use on this build?
What color green and brand paint is that? Thanks
What is the wheelbase ? And can you fit hardbodys to this kit without changing to much on the truck.
I did not see a locker in this, only a spool. Was there lockers with this kit?
Great video and review!!! love the paint job!!! One day maybe, the initial cost is steep but really for what you're getting it's a steel and no need to upgrade!!!
brian mills Thanks! Agreed!
A steal?! Yea from the consumer lol

Greg I would like to know if you painted the body, it looks awesome!
Eric Jac I did. I used Pro-Line paint
RCDriver_Online I just ordered the VS4-10 Pro online and in mid November Vanquish will be shipping them out. This will be the first Rock Crawler I’ve ever purchased. RCDriver_Online Thanks for the information.
awesome rig it is :D
Can a complete beginner assemble this? Or which kit do you recommend in 2021
What color did you back the lime green with?
Great video! I am leaning towards getting an Ultimate when they become available again. Amazing truck and sweet color.
How does this compare to the traxxas
Hi Greg, which kind of suspension oil do you use?
Awesome detailed review! Thanks!
Thanks for checking it out!
rich from r/c network had the same problems with the shock during the build
Is this better than the new Traxxas 2021 Bronco?
transmission have overdrive?
Very nice paint job!
Very cumulative review Greg! 👍
Is there room for an ESS-ONE within the this?
Is this good for a beginner?
What the colour of body ? Tamiya ps ?
Fluorescent green?
Did they fix the chassis flex?
Yes they did. They fixed it the week after the first kit went out
I didn't have the original kit, but the chassis on here seems solid.
Can I put my 550 hobbywing axe motor in this truck
What color green is that
these are no available in the uk i dont think
what are the specs of the motor you used?
The holes in the transmission plate is for a dig unit
Jeremy Burris the holes are for style, like a 1:1 skid system. The dig goes on the rear.
Arent the front lights 10 mil?.And the rear are 5 mil i believe. Great job with all your vids i enjoy them all . Keep up the good work!! Amazing kit
Is it as wide as gen 8 body?
If I did buy it I would want to change the grill to something that looks more like a scout grill
Also do they sell the body separately if I scratch up the body I would want to be able to replace it. Please let me know, considering buying one.
Why is the drive front tire pointing in so bad?
Not sure. Maybe the angle in which the video was taken?
great review....
Cool..too nice to scratch it..😁
Precioso!!
