Late to the party but I've had this figure since I was '78, for the last 20+ years his head has been stuck on with blu-tac...I followed your instructions apart from pushing the elastic into the chest cavity then hooking it with wire with a small hook and also I used a wider elastic which meant I could just knot it a few times to hold the neck post in place. I've now been able to give it to my almost 5 Yr old and he loves it. Thank you
Great job there, Reggie. I am really glad that you do this videos. I'm sure that you have helped a lot of people. I'm certainly learning from you! Keep up the great work.
Good video use of the wire is interesting. The first Dynamic Physique dolls didn't have sharpshooter position, that wasn't added until 1981 and was the last the last doll modification to Action Man
Thanks for the nice comment, I did not know that was the year it was added myself, just went by the date stamp on the back, thanks for the info and for watching:)
Gary's Action Man Channel Its also at this time that they changed the 1 piece dome shape connection at the top of the thigh to 2 piece's because the 1 piece was prone to breaking. Ive had around 300 "Dynamic Physique" Action Men pass through my hands and only ever seen 1 with the Sharp Shooter neck and 1 piece thigh connection on the same figure!
Oh okay it's the original deal was looking for the Geyperman cone at the top thanks for another great video. Do you have one for fixing a GiJoe talking Adventure Team commander?
The use of the thick elastic at the end there is a very interesting method but obviously only possible if you're using flat elastic to attach the neck post, i use 3mm cylindrical elastic with 3 knots, the 1's i did 7 years ago are still good so it holds up just fine, ive also got 10 metres of the 3mm cylindrical elastic to use up so wont be trying that method for a while. LOL very nice figure btw, what did you pay?
Yup everyone has their way, this is just what I ended up doing with parts on hand, it does work very well though, nice and tight, head and body was bought from the same seller 75 dollars total, not a great deal but very nice shape.
Well anything you want Action Man related, figures or accessories, you can always ask me, i just might have what you're after, and it'll always be for a good price even with shipping.

@@TheToyBoy1978 that I didn't know think sometimes the comments at bottom are the most information thanks learned something else.
Thank you. Great video clip that has saved two action men :-)
Glad to hear that☺
Excellent, really good idea, I had the same problem on one of my figurines 😊👍
Thanks you, glad it could help
😊👍
This is an easier fix than toy polloi or Analog toys😊…thanks for the video
Excellent job
thank you!
I have an Actionan that have loose joints. Do you know if it is possible to restore it? It does not seem to use elastic as a Gi Joe muscle body does.
Older action man figures use elastic, ones from 1978 only use elastic for the neck
@@TheSkullReviews what I did, was to add small paper pieces inside the joints, so it will hold it better. But not the most elegant sollution.
Where can I get parts for my action man here in the USA? I’m looking for head stalk, thanks
Love the videos 👌🏽
Thanks, ebay is the best place I can think of!

Thanks very much for that, will do, really happy with that blonde bearded EE one you sent, such a cool figure, thanks again.
That head has to have been reflocked. Look at his hairline and sideburns. Not right there.
