FWIW, Ikea recommends extra support for spans over 55" and sells them for $5 each. The supports resemble the left & right hardware but have just a hole in the rod for the wire to go through.
All the instructions with the pack was as usual appalling. Thanks a lot for this superb video. Without it I wouldn't have been able to put my ikea bought Dignitet Curtain wire at all.
Ryan James a great question indeed. I got all elements and tools for this project but the cutters. Would be great to hear from the author of the video.
abound abound I ended up buying a pair of craftsman wire cutters that worked fine. These are the pair I bought. www.osh.com/Osh-Categories/Tools-%26-Hardware/Tools/Hand-Tools/Pliers/Craftsman-7-Inch-Wide-Jaw-Pliers/p/6939110
Sorry, I did not receive an email that anyone had commented on this video. The wire cutters were borrowed for this installation. I don't know what name brand they were. I would just get some heavy duty ones, like you mention bellow.
Like I stated in my description, this video was made for a certain project. What parts did I leave out. I did my best to show the whole process. My apologies if was confusing at all.
Thank you so much! I had no clue what I was doing without this video.

I have these at home that I need to remove but one is stuck, is there any tool to get rid of one of the fixtures?
Can you also install them in a 180° angle?
It's been a while since you posted this, but what size drill bit, anchors, and screws did you use?
Hey. What type of wire cutters did you use? I purchased a Craftsman $20 pair and they still don't cut clean. What brand did and model did you use?

Thanks! Decent video though you skipped some small parts. Not a huge deal but much better than previous existing videos on this wire hanging system.

What is the screw head diameter?
I want to sink him!
