Thanks so much for posting this vid. My set didn't include instructions beyond a picture of the finished product. The 5/8" step made all the difference.
You're awesome for posting this video! It was a little quiet with my sound turned all the way up, but very clear in process and now I don't have to wait on hold with IKEA to give me directions without the visual. I'll be done in a flash! :)
Thank goodness for this. I had the wholes drilled in the world and then could not figure out what on earth to do next. The Ikea instructions seemed to make no sense at all. Saved my sanity. I did find it very very hard to cut the cables though, and it has meant that one of them is a bit too long so doesn't tighten properly but after battling with this thing for 5 hours I can't face any more.
Hi Nicole, I'm thinking of doing the same :) But the method is different than this video; the panel curtains will be too heavy, So you will need to secure each end on a stud with wood screws. Make sure the screws are long enough to go all the way through the drywall and into the stud. Hope this helps.
I want to divide a room with the help of Dignitet wire from wall to wall .Is it going to work well because there will be no extra support in between the two ends.?
I attempted to use the instructions provided. The packaging does NOT have the micro screws for the left wire tightening process. did you use another type of screw?
Couldn't have installed my Dignitet without your tutorial. Thanks so much! 7:22 mark about the plastic end helped a lot!
