Catching Scammers in India (Undercover Investigation)

- Over 3 nights in Delhi, a cybercrime investigator and I entered scammers' lairs looking for work. This is what we found.
Delhi is one of the scam hubs of the WORLD. And I've had enough of it. So Govind and I set out to infiltrate as many scam call centres as we could in 3 nights! We fired up our hidden cameras and went undercover inside 3 scam call centres located across Delhi. Watch these scammers in action as they shamelessly try to hire Govind to scam foreigners and Indians with fake Tech Support, Amazon, Cash App, and PayPal scams.

After all that work, we reported the call centres to the Indian Police and handed them all the recordings and locations. We gave them 2 months to take action. But nothing happened.

We approached the police but all in vain as they just laughed away. I am so so glad that someone like you are putting up a constant fight against these scammers and that too not being an Indian by birth. So good to see prosecution of employees ramping up, slowly but surely... Govind owned those interviews.
It's a shame to see a citizen do an extremely risky job while the government does virtually nothing. And the media does spreads BS all over the place, avoiding these real problems. Karl and Govind are awesome and brave!

Well so much easier to turn a profit when you don’t actually have to provide a product or service and are just stealing the money. All it costs them is their souls.

The last one, I understand it’s a scam but the hiring manager seemed very kind and understanding. He seems like a nice guy asides from the scam. There aren’t many managers like him.

I think it’s time we as Indians fight back against these scammers. This way, we will end a small portion of corruption as well. To those who reside in Delhi, please raise your voice against these scammers that Karl exposes. Pressurise the authorities to take strict actions! Start putting them up on social media while tagging the media too. Spam social media handles of media and the authorities. Once the media starts covering these stories, it may even get international attention which will force the authorities to take necessary actions. Let us rise against corruption and clean our nation!

Hear hear! Kudos for stating this. And I believe you have EXACTLY the right strategy. Including the corrupt cops in it is vital, but protect yourself somehow so you can't be traced by them, VPN or whatever.
@confine We have to start somewhere right? These scammers target our Indian senior citizens as well as they are the most gullible in our population. Most of them do not know how to seek help. Maybe some of our police departments may have even disregarded their complaints as they must be on their payroll as well. Hence why maybe scam cases probably go unreported. I guess that’s why it seems as though these scammers only target foreigners because foreigners actually use social media platforms to put out the word.
