My heart breaks😢 I just lost my mother unexpectedly and I told my dad to still put out a garden and I'll pick up canning where my mom was the breadwinner at it. I just found her video about canning on glass top. You most definitely are in my prayers. Plus I'm going to use her videos to help me with this new canning adventure without my mother.. 😢

You lost a love. I have lost suddenly and it sends us into a spin. Remember.. Grief is just love that has nowhere to go except to that lump in your throat and tears in your eyes. I came across one of Tracy's recipes in my folder. I considered her my friend. If you are able, tell us what happened tomorrow. But if you need to wait...we will wait. Go bless.
Michael, it's good to see you. I'm so sorry you're struggling. Grief is a beast and we all deal with it in different ways and we have to take it at our own pace. I'm so glad you recognize that you need help and are in therapy. Hang in there. You have that grandbaby coming that will need her grandpa and hopefully she will bring joy back into your life and help heal your heart as well. As she grows, you can tell her about her grandma and teach her all the things she loved to do. Let this precious little new life that's coming breathe new life into you. Tracy would want you to love and live and thrive and enjoy every moment. I truly believe that. And yes, I would like to know what happened, but I know how painful it still is and how difficult it will be to talk about, so if you're ready to talk about it, then do, but if you're really not, then we can all wait until you are. It's nice to see you. Congratulations on a grandbaby coming along! In my personal opinion, the Lord is the One who can help with grief and being lost, but I am not trying to shove anything at you. I hope things will start looking up for you, especially with a new baby, and the wonderment they bring. Take care and God bless.
All you can do is take things one day at a time. Everyone handles grief and loss differently and it takes time to work through. And now you will soon have a grandchild to love and that is truly wonderful news. A garden can be planted and chickens can be raised but only when you're ready, emotionally, mentally and physically. Who knows maybe in the future your grandchild will be helping you in the garden. You are not alone. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
