RuneScape 2006 , classic Smosh, classic nigahiga, Video Game uploads with no commentary ( before commentary began to explode on RUclips )... theres many more. Though I would go back to those simple times.
I was on RUclips before it was bought(?) by Google. I had a huge favorite videos list and whatnot, but then when it was acquired, all my stuff and videos disappeared. No one really remembers that RUclips existed independently in about ‘04-‘05. Also, do a shameless plug of I Am Champion
Lmao for real. I remember when they changed the yellow subscribe button and a bunch of people flipped out an started posting these "Remember when...." meme comments about how great RUclips was before the new changes like being able to like or dislike comments "ruined it". If only we knew.
What an awesome video Pete... I was 15 when I found your channel, I'm now 30. After all these years you are still the same Pete over 100,000 people fell in love with. Here's to another 15 years my friend. You are a true RUclips OG.
You were defo one of my first over the sea friends way back in the day. I really used to love RUclips and found it super fun. Every day I was editing or thinking about my next video, of just watching tons of other people doing stuff like this. Now adays, I hardly watch anything like this anymore. There is the odd good friend I still watch. But just lost that bug I guess. I have been making the odd video again here and there, and I intend to do a monthly video goign forward as still enjoy it. But I also now concentrate on my other channel "interGHOSTHOUSE" and love doing movie reactions. I always remember the Xmas sing along we all did, and I thank you for sending me your part back in the day!
29:15 Thank you Pete for mentioning All Gen Gamers podcast! I started relistening to AGG a few months ago and am on episode 85 Johnny Happy Console Gamer's final episode. AGG was and always will be my favorite podcast ever. Thank you Pete, Johnny Millennium, John Gamester81, Jason Heine, and MetalJesusRocks for the incredible memories that I'm enjoying all over again.
to be honest this is what i miss....weather it was you or other YT personalities that used to sit and talk about games...or discuss a game. just casual videos. its almost like sitting in the room with you and talking about something we share the same interest in. and that is my favorite "era" / "style" of YT content .
A quite enjoyable vlog Peter, congrats on staying primarily the same over the years! As a 61 year old avid gamer who also holds up game cases & shares fond reflections of gaming experiences, I validate your passion & unique style my friend!
If you don’t mind me asking how it is to be someone who never “grew up” with games since most gamers I know did (oldest gamer I’ve seen no offense), like how did you get into them
@androidoficeandfire9667 I played "Pong" in 1975, then played arcade games with my dad. I was 27 when I bought my first game system, the C-64 in late 80's. We grew up with board games & electric racing sets then in the early 70's. I have my own YT channel "Escape To Gaming".
Duuuude I am glad you popped up in my recommendations. I loved your videos and chill reviews. Always a pleasure. Found you from the PS Vita videos years ago
Man, it's already been 10 years since Japan. Your channel has come a long way since then, and I hope it continues to grow. Prayers to the algorithm gods.
Wow. What a great video Pete. The first video I ever watched was your PSP collection video. At the time, I only had 3 PSP games and found it so fascinating to see you with so many especially ones that I never saw in game stores. I then subscribed and haven't stopped watching your videos since. It's always a bit frightening when you don't upload for long periods of time because I start to overthink you quit. I'm happy you still upload. I know it might be disheartening at first, but I know if you started uploading again with some of the same video ideas it will gain some good traction. Unboxings, GameStop hauls (online or in-store), video game pick ups, VIDEO GAME TOURS, new games to collections, your favorite games ...etc etc etc. You said manytimes in this video that the algoritm or that people don't want to watch those videos anymore. I think there's a huge crowd out there who are dying for that content and if it's worth consistently uploading it, then i feel like you can pioneer another generation of gamers. RUclips is missing true gamers and you pioneered that on RUclips. I thank you for years of content and I'm excited for you to stream on RUclips. Although I followed and was subbed to you on Twitch, I found myself invested more on RUclips and started to cut twitch out simply for convenience. Lastly, Thank you for getting me deeper into video games, technology, RUclips and collecting. Cheers to 15 years and many more.
This is definitely something I have considered. And obviously my thoughts on games change throughout the years so updating old collection videos is still worthwhile 15 years later.
I remember the first time I came across your content was on the videogamemm forums in the late 2000s, where you posted pictures of your Sonic collection. I just started getting into collecting myself at the time and it blew my mind! Shortly after I followed you to RUclips and remember watching those figures reviews and the Nintendo Store pickups. It's crazy how so much of that culture has changed; I'd love a video or stream discussing some of your old collectibles and how you got them/prices paid. I wish there was more documentation on the old merch community just as interest in documenting the older retro game communities has increased.
I remember watching you in 2008. You were one of the very first video game channels I discovered, and I was hooked instantly. I loved the idea of seeing someone else's collection. It always made me want to make similar videos myself, although my situation back then prevented me from doing so. Still. It's nice to see that some of the people I watched all those years ago are still around, making videos. I don't ever comment, I'm just terrible at socializing, but still. In a world of change, it's nice to see something stationary.
Got into collecting and retro games again when I was 18 (2008) and you and Johnny HCG were the two first RUclipsrs I got into. Still watching now. Cheers for the content over the years. Much more to come 👍
Probably been watching you're videos for 12-13 year's and just like with many other people, you probably were one of the biggest inspiration's to start really dig into collecting. Watched some of you're videos several times to add more less known game's to my playing list. Glad to see you doing regular upload's again.
Found you 15 years ago with your Cloud Strife statue unboxing. Love the OG gaming community - just a different feel and more genuine. Thanks for all the years of entertainment Pete
Cool video going back in time. Pretty sure I found your channel from one of the game room tours back in the day. Awesome you’re still putting out content! Cheers.
Been watching your channel since around 2009. I remember back in the day being blown away by your game room. The first really amazing collection id ever seen. My page had a different name back then. I used to do retro gaming videos too. Thanks for the entertaining and wholesome content these years.
Watched all the way to the end, great nostalgia trip back through the channel! I found you back then on your first game room tour and it inspired me to start my own channel! Also absolutely loved all gen gamers! Looking forward to more videos from you! Keep the retro style alive!!
I started watching your videos in 2009 (partially because back then you kinda looked like a mirror copy of myself). It's so awesome that you've maintained and grown your audience without having to resort to chasing trends or creating some obnoxious persona. Just chill vibes
I've been really enjoying your new RUclips videos, they really throw me back to that time some 13 or 14 years ago when I first started watching your videos. Congratulations on the 15 years!
I'll never forget the snow day I stayed home from school and found your Fallout 3 unboxing video way back in 08. Good to see you still doing your thing man. It's kind of amazing that a channel about nostalgia, now gives me nostalgia. Kinda poetic. Peace brother.
Man I used to watch your videos all the time in the ps3 era. I fell out of gaming for a bunch of years, But after a while I got back into it. A friend was showing me Dunkey video's. When you popped up in one of them it was like a core memory unlocked. lol
Congratulations on 15 years Pete. Here's to 15 more. I discovered your channel in 2010-2011. You are the reason I started collecting videogames myself. You showed me that collecting ganes was actually a thing. Here where I live, game collecting was unheard of at the time. EDIT: Bring back Mystery Unboxings!
This era of youtube was so genuine and loveable. I go back and watch your old videos all the time. It feels like a nice cup of hot chocolate on a cold day
Love this video, Pete! I have been watching you since 2009ish. I love this trip down memory lane. I definitely miss these days of RUclips! I remember sending you a package back around 2010 that had the Sonic lanyard from PAX, Gex for 3DO, and a bunch of other random stuff. You were my favorite RUclips at that time. It's nice to see you making videos consistently again!
Pete! Congratulations on 15th years on YT, I can't remember when I discovered your channel, but it was at the time of the AllGenGamers Podcast with your long talk about FFXII with HappyConsoleGamer
I was the guy holding up games showing off my pickups drunk as hell and young 😂 I found you at 2008 when I joined the military and been a fan ever since! Rock on Pete!!
Still remember finding your channel from a post on digital press, years ago.Think you had about 100 subs at that time. Glad to see you're still going strong 👍
Pete I discovered my favorite video game series of all time thanks to you. I was playing the demo to Lost Planet 2 and I was listening to a video of yours in the background. It was you talking about Demons Souls. The way you described the online play caught my attention and I had never heard anything like it at that point. I immediately knew I had to get it. Ended up being my favorite game ever!
I used to upload on a different channel, DaveGrohlPwns was the name. Mostly footage of me and my friend in high school playing Road Rash, Smash Bros, and Guitar Hero I think. That was back around 2007-2010 time frame. I think the 10 minute cap on videos eventually killed it for us. That and we were never too happy with how the videos looked (camera pointed at the TV as you mentioned Pete)
Ive been watching your videos since 2010 and think it is a great idea for you to go live on RUclips once a week. I dont mess with twitch but would be happy to stop by your youtube stream. Cheers Pete! Thanks for the gaming content and recommendations over the years. I love this hobby
Thanks for all the years of vids and vibes Pete. Been watching you since your Fallout 3 collector's edition unboxing. Yea... it's been a while lolol I've always came back around to your channel to see what you've been up too. I love checking in on guys like you and Gamester81, AlphaOmegaSin, Johnny from HCG. Hell I still binge old AVGN eps 😅😅 Glad you're still on here and I'll def continue to watch from time to time.
Thanks for that throwback, Pete. I appreciate you highlighting the things of yore: the super low res videos, the shoutout videos, the difficulties of finding merch, the random thumbnails, strike panic, the change of viewer expectations, and so much more. I feel like I subscribed 13 or 14 years ago because I appreciated your love of quirky games. Meeting up at game cons, playing MK7 or Animal Crossing together, All Gen Gamers, justin.tv ... all the pre-algorithm days. I can't believe some of your vids are so old. Makes me feel ancient. I am one of the few people asking for Sleepin With Pete. There is little content out there that is good for listening to at the end of the day. That series is one of them.
One other thing I forgot to say the 1st RPG I ever played was Final Fantasy 9 I knew nothing about the genre It was new to me a couple of minutes in and a card game is thrust upon you that made me think I’ll never understand this, some 69 hours later my unfounded worries about “what if I do the disc swap wrong, what if one of the disc’s don’t work” had come to an end along with a 9 minute boss battle, I cried why ? I could never play the game again for the first time and I fell in love with everything about the game from the pre rendered background’s to the characters, it’s probably why my remaster remains sealed hey maybe one day I’ll play it but that was the Pandora’s Box moment for me that changed everything it’s still my favourite game of all time that started my obsession with collecting J-RPG’s, Pete if you do Final Fantasy at some point keep 9 in mind as for the remaster that’s a story for a different day Happy New Year when it comes look forward to all your RUclips content in 2024
Thanks for everything, Pete. Been here since pretty much the beginning. Your chat room is where I met my best friends that I still talk to daily. There truly was no community as close as the one we had back then and you were a huge part of that. You quite literally changed my life. Keep gamin' and peace.
Congrats Pete! Been quietly watching for the bulk of those 15 years. Remember discovering the channel through your first Games I Bought Recently and the video about the paintings you did. How time flies! The PGRF was a blast!
15 years ago feels like only a couple years ago to me. This was super nostalgic Pete! I originally subbed way back at your "looking back at the ps2" video when it popped up in recommended back then and have been subbed since! Then finally getting on twitch after the JustinTV days in 2017 and finding you again on there made me feel like I did the day I found you on youtube. So many memories. Happy new years also!
I remember subbing to you after a Gamester81 shoutout and completely fell in love with this channel's format and content, almost 15 years ago... I'm glad you're still doing these talking videos, without any bells and whistles; it's a super rare thing on RUclips now and I really enjoy it. Hope you and your loved ones have a great year!
Thanks for 15 years of entertainment Pete I found your channel in highschool when I was 15-16 I’m 30 now lol time flys but it’s been great having your content along the way here’s to many more years to come Happy New year Pete
I miss allgengamers i would love a comeback! I cant believe how long ive been watch you and happyconsolegamer at this point. Thank you so much for doing this!
I was in high school when I saw your room tour. I looked forward to all your videos. I’m 32 years old now, and seeing you talk about those days makes me reminisce too. You inspired me to build up a pretty sizable collection across multiple platforms. I’ve began selling though, because I have 2 kids now. Hurts a little, but the memories are what’s important. Not the stuff. Good to see you’re still at it! Hope all is well!
This video is like a big warm hug. Been watching the channel since the first room tour. Can't wait for the livestreams here and eBay content and hopefully resurrecting old unreleased content from the flip camera. Always up for some mystery unboxings as well. Thank you for everything you have done in the gaming community and still do to this day. Here is to 15 more years and then some. Happy new year Pete.
Great news Pete! I only have so little time to spend on gaming or watching gameplay, so I stick to RUclips solely these days. Would love to see you play a JRPG or 3D platformer! Wishing you a great 2024 in good health🎆
My screen name used to be pukeface16 around this time, so many unboxings and terrible looking reviews and shoutout videos, it was a really cool community to be a part of. Digging around in these comments to hopefully find some old buddies. Thanks for everything pete.
Tomorrow I will hit my 57th month as a subscribed member of your twitch channel and to say you've made an impact on me is to put it lightly. I've been watching you since the early days, I was 13 and now I'm 26. I would have random chats with you and even though I was a child you still made me feel welcomed and that my opinion mattered. I have a picture somewhere meeting you at a convention when I was a teenager I don't know where it went unfortunately, I had it in my room for the longest time because I thought you were the coolest person in the world, you were to me how Ninja is to kids of today. I remember you and a few others inspired my first channel I made years ago and here I am still to this day making vids on the current one all because you made a lasting impression on a small boy. I have so many games in my collection I never would've known about had it not been for you. Out of everyone I have watched over the years, only you, Metal Jesus, and a few others remain from my childhood watch queue. My entire college experience had you and your videos rocking in the background, every test, every study session, every homework assignment, you were playing in the background and with me along the journey. Adult life has made it hard to catch the streams so I am excited to see the youtube ones archived for me to come back to whenever! I think the most memorable thing over the years was with the "STOP STOP THIS IS NOT A DVD" arch of the All gen gamers podcast, I remember thinking that was so funny. Still to this day I work that into random moments like the most recent one was in Valorant, and nobody got it because everyone who plays the game were born in years that begin with "2000 AND" lol This video was a wild blast down memory lane. I remember how I felt and what was going on in my life when you posted a lot of these or when I found them.
I discovered your channel around 2010 and have enjoyed it ever since. Your channel with a handful of others inspired me to start RUclips that same year. I know the feeling of logging in and seeing all the channels back in the day we loved no longer doing content. SpatterTrigger, Quckfreeze, Ballinnick1982, Benzo, I could go on and on. I miss seeing their content and for some the channels are gone and I can't even watch the older stuff to relive the memories. That's why its been great to see you and HCG still going. I feel like when you guys hang it up it will truly be the end of an era. Here's to hoping that doesn't happen anytime soon!
Has it been 15 years already? I often get nostalgic for the days of PGRF and AGG, we had some great times indeed. Congratulations man, here's to many more years of great content to come!
Pete, been watching since I was about 13, I really appreciate your content. I believe your channel was the second gaming channel I ever subbed to (after avgn). You opened the door for me on the rpg genre and I have played a lot of games based on your recommendation.
15 years ago you really inspired me to start collecting and build a room. always got super stoked about new "games i picked up recently videos" found a lot of good stuff from those.
I want to say the first video of yours I ever saw was the DS collection, but I know the one that I remember the most was your Persona 4 impressions. I had never seen anyone cover a game like that before, and I went out to GameStop within the next week and spent some of my allowance on it. So I want to say I started watching around 2008/2009, you and Mega64 were my favorite RUclipsrs and I'm glad both are still around. Thanks for all the memories Pete!
I remember when youtube first came out and their featured channels were all small and it felt like everyone had a chance to be featured. Seems like 2010 is when youtube went commercial and it was never the same.
I've been following Pete since 2009-2010 when I was wrapping up highskool, now I'm 31 and still in line for da next PeteDorr video lol! Pete is without a doubt my all time favorite youtuber and he seriously got me into collecting video games. I credit alot of early youtubers like PeteDorr and the AVGN for pioneering the videogame scene on youtube during the early days of youtube and played a pivotal role in helping expose me to the retro gaming scene and develop my love for gaming and collecting games/memorabilia. Pete introduced me to alot of other youtubers like the Happy Console Gamer and many more through his videos and the All Gen Gamers podcast. Pete also introduced me to so many different game genres and franchises with his collection/recommendations videos and top ten vids, including ICO, SOTC and many other games that are now among my all time favorite games. I remember when I saw his top 10 PS2 games video back in early 2011 and saw ICO at number 1 (I had never heard of ICO before up till then), I was so moved by the footage and the personal things Pete said about what ICO meant to him that I just had to try it. I remember begging my sister to lend me some money so I could run to da local GameStop to pick up a used copy, lol! I beat it and I consider it one of my all time favorite games and I still cherish my copy to this day. I've always come to appreciate Pete's cool as a cucumber, calm and collected attitude and his vast guru like knowledge on gaming/collecting, and I think its cool that he tends to keep an open mind on videogames and often steps outside his comfort zone by trying alot of new types of games he wouldnt usually play, in turn exposing alot of us to new games in the process. His old-skool style of just turning on da camera and recording for us no edit, straight vlog style is very raw and personal and is something I deeply miss in this modern landscape of tightly scripted, overly edited, and high production videos that youtube has been inundated with. It's this honest and down to earth approach to making content that lets his unfiltered love for the medium really shine through and really resonates with alot of people of all ages. I mean no joke, I'm literally at McDonalds right now on my laptop with Petes channel open on youtube, and as I'm typing this, a little kid just naruto ran past me to go to the playplace area and he turns to look at me and says "I love his channel btw!" then darts off. I mean if that doesn't say it all, I don't know what else does. All in all, I'm hoping petesgameroom goes on till petedorrs gameroom becomes petegates gamefortress and we are all watching games i bought recently episode 200! Lolz, long live mah boi PeteDorr! :3
Crazy trip down memory lane. Those old days in the RUclips gaming community were great along with stuff like Screw Attack. I spent a good amount of time in the Pete's Game Room Forum chat haha wild times.
I still remember watching your top 30 favorite PS2 games when I was 11. That was the very first video I saw of yours and I've been watching your channel since. I'm 23 now and going through your old videos felt very nostalgic for me. Thank you for all of the memories and keep up the good work!
Thank you for being a staple In my young adult life Pete. I would absolutely binge watch Your content back in the day. I have pretty much been here Almost since day 1. I got pulled in from the height of your 1st room tour and I have seen every video you have put out ever since. Some videos I watched multiple times. thank you
According to my account history, yours is the first channel I ever subscribed to. This was back in June 2010. Glad to hear you have no plans of stopping lol.
I remember participating in the Game Room Forum chat room man. I’d like to get back into gaming videos at some point when I find the time. I was doing it at 9 y/o and saying that my collection was 1,000+ games 😂
you had set the bar back then. so many times i rewatched your videos and listened to the agg podcast. you got me into collecting and appreciating videogames for years to follow, started a youtube channel too and whilst recently i have abandoned any interest of game collecting, i look forward to your videos like always. pure youtube nostalgia.
Definitely have been here the whole 15 years, I can remember seeing videos on other pages of you at pax in Seattle with happyconsolegamer and gamester81. Like everyone I definitely enjoyed your game room tours but I’ve also used many of your ps2 collection videos and other game collection videos to fall asleep to. You showing off your gaming paintings is probably one of my favorites. Love you Pete! Here’s to another 15 years!
Your videos always make me feel comfy and nostalgic Pete. I remember watching them back in 2009 / 2010 and really got me into retro gaming. Hopefully we will get many more videos, and it would be awesome to have all-gen gamers back. It was one of my favorite podcasts!
I’ve been watching since 2013! I come and go, but have always enjoy your videos. One of the RUclipsrs where you’re like how do you not have 1 million subs. You deserve it.
I remember subscribing way back in 2009 and you've been my biggest influence in building the game room of my dreams which I'm still working on to this day. Thank you for staying true to yourself and not selling out like a lot of others
One of the few youtubers i'm still watching all these years later since I joined around 2010. Your calm vlog style is more refreshing now compared to then! I'm glad to see you still going, and I'll always be tuning in every so often to hear about game collecting and what not. Here's to 15 more! Thank you, Pete!
Been watching almost the whole time. Around 2009 or so? You were a big inspiration for me to really start taking my game collecting more seriously. All of those early collector channels, I was a huge fan, Retrocalypse, Moviestarkitten, BallinNick, TV&Lust, if you go back even further anyone remember Jedite (sp) or JohnGameHunter? So much fun exploring the libraries of all the old consoles back when it was all very untapped for me. Discovered a lot of games watching those videos. Today retro RUclips is like TV level production, meant to get tons of clicks and appeal to everyone. But I miss the old-school vlog style commentary. I still find myself looking for that, and it's hard to find now. Thanks for sharing the past 15 years with us, bro.
Excellent video Pete! Happy 15 years man! Love seeing the recap it's like a reliving of the golden days of RUclips. Speaking of Hidden Gems and MJR people may not remember but you pretty much low key are responsible for launching Jason's channel with that collaboration. He got so many subscribers after those Game hunting videos. I still listen to All Gen Gamers! It has aged sooo well actually. So thankful all the podcasts are still on RUclips. Anyways would love to see mystery unboxings! More interesting than standard game picks tbh, it's cool to discover the games acquired in real time which is a interesting twist and generates more curiosity and genuine reaction. Honestly might even make a awesome RUclips stream. "Mystery unboxing live!" Sounds pretty rad to me!
I’m honored that MJR is a part of both my as his RUclips channels. Having him as a co-host on All Gen Gamers was an absolute blast. Meeting him in person and spending a weekend with him before his channel blew up is also something I will never forget. You gotta remember too, back in the old school days everyone helped one another to help grow their channels, so it was my pleasure to help do that for him.
@@PeteDorr You are absolutely right! I miss the strong community from back in the day. Everyone commenting on each other's videos and all the response videos to each other, contests and collaborations were so memorable. I love how you and MJR managed to always stay humble and keep your passion for the hobby as a whole over the years and are still going strong. I also miss many channels who have disappeared as well, specifically Benzo8686 and Splattertrigger come to mind (really miss their content). We are so grateful for all your guys content back then and now as you and others are responsible for us getting into great games we otherwise would never heard of. I hold you directly responsible for introducing me to Klonoa as only briefly heard of it from a jampack disc back in the day, but never fully experienced it. Now it's one of my favorite games of all time and thank you for share it and many other great things with us over the years! Keep up the great work man, we really appreciate all that you do.
I first subscribed to your channel around late 2008. I remember watching your collection videos on ps2 and 360 specifically. I just recently started watching your content on twitch. Thanks for all the content! Wish you nothing but the best going forward!
What are your favorite memories of the early days of RUclips?
People playing geometry wars 😂
10 minute video time limits lol
AVGN And Smosh were the 1st video's I watched. Also The Duke Nukem Soundboard prank
I miss the “rawness” of RUclips videos back then. 15 yrs is a milestone. Congratulations!
Lmao for real. I remember when they changed the yellow subscribe button and a bunch of people flipped out an started posting these "Remember when...." meme comments about how great RUclips was before the new changes like being able to like or dislike comments "ruined it". If only we knew.
Yeah, some of us still keep it raw... I plan to make more this year. Good old days for sure!
@@Space_Ghost_Hunter lol. I remember that.
You're genuinely one of the first RUclipsrs I ever watched, alongside Ashens & Happy Console Gamer, keep at it!!
29:15
Thank you Pete for mentioning All Gen Gamers podcast!
Some of us still do these... although they are not "popular"
You and alpha omega sin were some of my earliest memories! I’m still subscribed to you both and I have been for it’s gotta be 10 years by now
All Gen Gamers is how I discovered the channel. Enjoyed everything ever since
Man, it's already been 10 years since Japan. Your channel has come a long way since then, and I hope it continues to grow. Prayers to the algorithm gods.
i remember those videos!
One of my first subs almost 14 years ago…thanks for all the fantastic content Pete!! Looking forward to more in 2024!! ❤❤❤
Got into collecting and retro games again when I was 18 (2008) and you and Johnny HCG were the two first RUclipsrs I got into. Still watching now. Cheers for the content over the years. Much more to come 👍
I still randomly come watch your video of the best ps2 games. Definitely one of the timeless videos for me.
Probably been watching you're videos for 12-13 year's and just like with many other people, you probably were one of the biggest inspiration's to start really dig into collecting. Watched some of you're videos several times to add more less known game's to my playing list. Glad to see you doing regular upload's again.
Your channel has been one of my favorites over the years. Your original room tour video inspired me a ton!
Found you 15 years ago with your Cloud Strife statue unboxing. Love the OG gaming community - just a different feel and more genuine. Thanks for all the years of entertainment Pete
One of my most cherished habits is to enjoy your videos while on my stationary bike. Been doing it for nearly a decade now
I've been subscribed since 2009, different account, but man you got me into retro games hardcore!
Cool video going back in time. Pretty sure I found your channel from one of the game room tours back in the day. Awesome you’re still putting out content! Cheers.
What a trip down memory lane, I loved old school RUclips and I still remember being in awe of your game room back then. Thank you, Pete!
Been watching your channel since around 2009. I remember back in the day being blown away by your game room. The first really amazing collection id ever seen. My page had a different name back then. I used to do retro gaming videos too. Thanks for the entertaining and wholesome content these years.
Been watching your channel since day 1, congrats on 15 yrs of awesome content happy new year🍻
Watched all the way to the end, great nostalgia trip back through the channel! I found you back then on your first game room tour and it inspired me to start my own channel! Also absolutely loved all gen gamers! Looking forward to more videos from you! Keep the retro style alive!!
I love that you are reengaging more with RUclips again. I really miss watching your videos regularly.
When you popped up in one of them it was like a core memory unlocked. lol
If you haven’t watched his video reacting to my top 10 games of the decade, check it out. It’s hilarious
I still have all of it, I never get rid of anything someone sends me. Thanks!
@PeteDorr Wow! That's amazing, dude! I'm glad you're back making videos again. I get excited whenever I see you post!
Pete! Congratulations on 15th years on YT, I can't remember when I discovered your channel, but it was at the time of the AllGenGamers Podcast with your long talk about FFXII with HappyConsoleGamer
Some real nostalgic stuff, I remember the Japan videos & I was super addicted to watching your collection vids too.
Stay tuned…
Congrats Pete!
Would LOVE to see a favorite games of 2023 vid from you!
You were responsible for getting me into collecting and getting me back into gaming back in 2010 or so.
Keep gamin' and peace.
much love brother benjamin
Congrats Pete! Been quietly watching for the bulk of those 15 years. Remember discovering the channel through your first Games I Bought Recently and the video about the paintings you did. How time flies!
The PGRF was a blast!
I’ve been subscribed for a long time. Glad you’re still doing videos!
Miss listening to allgengamers back in the day - really wish it was still around !
Started watching you back in 2010 so much memories man I even started doing pick up videos and game collection videos til this day 😅
I remember subbing to you after a Gamester81 shoutout and completely fell in love with this channel's format and content, almost 15 years ago... I'm glad you're still doing these talking videos, without any bells and whistles; it's a super rare thing on RUclips now and I really enjoy it. Hope you and your loved ones have a great year!
I started watching you when I was 16, and now I'm 30... always thought it was so cool to find someone into Sonic the Hedgehog as much as I was!
Still to this day I work that into random moments like the most recent one was in Valorant, and nobody got it because everyone who plays the game were born in years that begin with "2000 AND" lol
This video was a wild blast down memory lane. I remember how I felt and what was going on in my life when you posted a lot of these or when I found them.
Thanks for the kind message!
My favorite channel back then was Classic Game Room.
Big fan since 2010, my first video watchin u was the unboxinv NES Haul
I gotta say Pete your videos got me through high school. Thank you much for being an influence for gaming and collecting in my life.😊
Has it been 15 years already? I often get nostalgic for the days of PGRF and AGG, we had some great times indeed. Congratulations man, here's to many more years of great content to come!
Im 30 now and I remember watching this growing up.
Pete, been watching since I was about 13, I really appreciate your content. I believe your channel was the second gaming channel I ever subbed to (after avgn). You opened the door for me on the rpg genre and I have played a lot of games based on your recommendation.
I think You, HCG and MJR are my 3 OG youtubers from the start.
I've been following you since 2010 and you got me into game collecting back then!
Lol this was a great comment to read, thanks so much for the kind words and support over the years!
I've been watching on and off these past 15 years. I love ya Pete.
Been watching you since about 2010. You are a bastion of the old school gaming youtube days for me.
Found you from Dunky, now you're easily in my top 10 youtubers of all time.
You're my favorite youtuber!!! I watch and enjoy every upload. Never stop!!
I’ve been watching since 2013! I come and go, but have always enjoy your videos. One of the RUclipsrs where you’re like how do you not have 1 million subs. You deserve it.
Been following you from the beginning Pete 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I remember subscribing way back in 2009 and you've been my biggest influence in building the game room of my dreams which I'm still working on to this day.
Thank you for staying true to yourself and not selling out like a lot of others
One of the few youtubers i'm still watching all these years later since I joined around 2010. Your calm vlog style is more refreshing now compared to then! I'm glad to see you still going, and I'll always be tuning in every so often to hear about game collecting and what not. Here's to 15 more! Thank you, Pete!
Started watching you from the start. We actually meet at PAX Prime one year as well. I try to watch your streams when I can though just life is busy.
One of the first gaming/collecting channels I ever watched and good to see you back on my feed
Nice walk down memory lane.... I think I have been following your videos (on and off) for about 10 years or so, always a good time. Cheers!
I loved the mystery unboxings, bring 'em back!😊
Ok, it’s back.
One of the OG RUclipsrs 🐐
Congratulations 🎉🎈
In 2008 I was 17 started watching you
Excellent video Pete!
