The ending never fails to make me tear up. When her bff shows up at the wedding reception to cheer her up 😭😭😭. Rupert Everett should have been a major star. He's funny af. .
Suddenly, a familiar song….. And you're off your chair in one, exquisite movement...wondering, searching, sniffing the wind... like a dapple deer. Has God heard your little prayer? Will Cinderella dance again? 💃 And then, suddenly, the crowds part... and there he is: sleek, stylish... radiant with charisma. Bizarrely, he's on the telephone. But then, so are you. And he comes towards you... the moves of a jungle cat. Although you quite correctly sense that he is gay ……like most devastatingly handsome single men of his age are... you think, what the hell? Life goes on. Maybe there won't be marriage. Maybe there won't be sex. 😳 But, by God, there'll be dancing 🕺 💕
This is the best movie of all time ❤ what a genuine behind the scenes take too! I love this, I can imagine how different it must be making a movie now.😅
Everyone loves Julias chemistry with richard gere and george clooney but i prefer her chemistry with Dermot! Its so natural! Camerons character was lovable to the point where you were rooting for dermot to pick julias character but u end up falling in love eith camerons character at the end too so u see why he picked her.
This is definitely one of my favorite movies probably because I saw it in the movie theater with the love of my life who turned into a totally different person 24 years later. Damn, I hate when that happens.
Hollywood today needs to take a breath, figure out what the F they are doing, where they went wrong, and go back in time and make great movies like this again. Hollywood today sucks A..! There is NO TALENT in Hollywood anymore with writers, script writers, directors etc. They have all of these talented actors and they can't even come up with a great film anymore. Hollywood is dead. There are so many problems in Hollywood, woke, DEI, sticking their faces in politics, supporting ALL of the wrong causes, etc. Liberalism kills everything great in this world, it's too bad that great movies are dead, Hollywood is dead. Just like our founding fathers of this country, the pioneers of Hollywood are all turning in their graves at what it has become.
My Best Friend's Wedding turns 25! I remember watching it a long while ago There was gonna be a musical before Covid-19 Julia Roberts' performance is magnificent, cemented her status as one of the biggest Hollywood stars to draw box office crowds this movie rings true of 'Bridesmaids' and others of its kind still it's not strictly formula and goes against the rom-com conventions there's quite an abundance of laughs during this whole ordeal at times you think Roberts' character is very shallow and being a tad selfish and destructive then again you see why she's so determined to get her best friend to realize that he loves her Rupert Everett is a good moral compass too Cameron Diaz is warm and endearing the music gets in the way a lot making the damn thing seem like an insufferable musical, however, the majority of the film is charming It's considered one of the greatest romantic comedies of all time, particularly because, in the end, the girl does not get the guy and seems to be okay with it The film argues that it’s okay to be alone with a friend to keep you company and that a person doesn’t need a romantic relationship to be happy The statement rings true, the villain doesn’t get a “happy ending,” but they do get the opportunity for one if they can not only see that they were wrong but also change

He is a major star. Mostly in England, but definitely a major star. Hope that brings a smile.

It’s so interesting, I think there was zero chemistry between them.
One of the best, ever Rom-Coms ❤
Still one of my favorite movies.

Compare this humor with "adam sandler humor"...this was smart and funny, not just jokes about farts
Rupert, so handsome, then...the "facelift'. So sad.
Cameron Diaz and Julia Roberts are both gorgeous that you can’t really compare who is the prettiest one.
From 7:49-7:54, I can see this scene a hundred times🤣.

I don’t know if this movie shows that men and women can be friends or if they can’t lol.
What’s with all the crop tops?

My Best Friend's Wedding turns 25!
I remember watching it a long while ago
There was gonna be a musical before Covid-19
Julia Roberts' performance is magnificent, cemented her status as one of the biggest Hollywood stars to draw box office crowds
this movie rings true of 'Bridesmaids' and others of its kind
still it's not strictly formula and goes against the rom-com conventions
there's quite an abundance of laughs during this whole ordeal
at times you think Roberts' character is very shallow and being a tad selfish and destructive then again you see why she's so determined to get her best friend to realize that he loves her
Rupert Everett is a good moral compass too
Cameron Diaz is warm and endearing
the music gets in the way a lot making the damn thing seem like an insufferable musical, however, the majority of the film is charming
It's considered one of the greatest romantic comedies of all time, particularly because, in the end, the girl does not get the guy and seems to be okay with it
The film argues that it’s okay to be alone with a friend to keep you company and that a person doesn’t need a romantic relationship to be happy
The statement rings true, the villain doesn’t get a “happy ending,” but they do get the opportunity for one if they can not only see that they were wrong but also change
Si en vez de llamarla para decirle que se casaba con otra ,le hubiera perdido matrimonio 💛💙❤️ hubiera Sido una novia fugitiva 🧐🤔
