Great Basin Rattlesnake Slithers into camp!

We went for an afternoon SXS ride up Smithfield Canyon UT. and stopped at a campsite. We had an uninvited guest slither in.

How long do you think it waited for someone to throw it in the water to cool off?

I think this snake wanted to get warm in the patch of sun we were sitting at. He is freezing now. I'm glad rattlesnakes can swim!
